I could not be more disappointed in this dryer, as it simply does not do what it’s advertised to do, which is dry washing! It's actually impossible to dry sheets in this dryer. It only turns 1 way, which means, sheets roll up into a ball almost immediately. (See pic attached) I wouldn’t mind opening the dryer to shake them out once or twice during the drying cycle, but you literally need to stand watch and do it every 2 minutes. And as it's a heat pump dryer the cycle length for sheets is about 3 hours so it takes all day.Given it has a remote start feature, it’s a reasonable expectation that you shouldn’t need to stand watch over the dryer for the entire cycle in order for it to actually dry, otherwise there would be no use for remote start!?In addition to ... MoreI could not be more disappointed in this dryer, as it simply does not do what it’s advertised to do, which is dry washing! It's actually impossible to dry sheets in this dryer. I put my towels into dry and the sensor said it would need 2 hours. I went back after only 1 hr and they were bone dry but the cycle still indicated another hour remaining. Same with the sheets. Every time I shake them out and put them in again, it indicates an additional 2 1/2 hours, so in fact I’ve never managed to get to the end of a cycle drying my sheets as they’d literally be in there all day.I sent a complaint to LG 2 weeks ago and have still heard nothing back which is also incredibly frustrating when I've spent $2000 on a dryer!Would not recommend at all!

After almost $4k spent on the 10kg washer and 9kg Heat Pump - I am finding the need to give myself an uppercut.Everything ends up in a ball still soaking wet.I think the reason the heat pump has such a high efficiency rating is because the $4k less wealthy user takes the wet ball to the clothes line for real drying.Don’t buy the heat pump. Washer is ok.

The various features are a standout for this life-changing machine - I especially love the shoe rack feature which I've been using quite a lot because I walk my husky whether it rains or shines and this summer especially I have gotten wet shoes because it's rained a lot. This rack allows my shoes to be dried for the next walk! No sun needed. It's great also for wet/washed bags. I love how one whole side of the dial is committed for delicates and I can select normal delicates, warm air or even cool air for them. I love how it has an allergy cycle too because I have animals and also a daughter who is dust-mite allergic. I don't have to be allergic to use this cycle though because I find it refreshes beautifully my blankets and things that can get a build up of ... MoreThe various features are a standout for this life-changing machine - I especially love the shoe rack feature which I've been using quite a lot because I walk my husky whether it rains or shines and this summer especially I have gotten wet shoes because it's rained a lot. I also love that it doesn't steam up my little laundry and I plan to buy the matching washer when my current washer gives up the ghost because they are designed to fit together compactly - perfect for smaller laundries! I have it in black which looks smart and modern. This dryer has a "I ThinQ" feature which seems to adjust automatically to the loads needs - like if it needs less drying time. There is a whole bunch of other features that I haven't explored yet too so it's a machine for the complex smart person as well as those who don't want to think too much. It's got a blue tooth option which means I can turn the dryer off even if I'm not at home with my phone! Very handy for those who are worried about leaving an appliance on and having left it on after leaving the house. I have a family of five and we use this machine every day several times a day. It's excellent huge size fits big loads or a blanket and I can also just do a pair of shoes if I want to. I'm looking forward to discovering more of it's features in the future. There is a happy relaxing tune it gently plays when it's finished a load - it's not one of those annoying beeps which you get with a fridge etc. It's a gentle tune that is very pleasant and soft on the ears. It's easy to maintain by emptying the dust collecter and the water collecter. I used to have to buy more clothes/towels/blankets if the weather was really rainy but now with this I just dry my washed clothes/products. It has truly changed my life and I would buy another all over again and recommend this to my friends and family. In fact I already have.

The lint filter grid caught the draw cord head bits of several of our expensive Arc'teryx, Norrona and Patagonia jackets, as well as several pairs of pants and shorts. The design of the grid is such a huge flaw and wo don't know how to fix this. Absolutely regret to have bought this rubbish dryer.
We purchased this unit with the LG washer machine and what a great dryer and washer they are. Would highly recommend this LG dryer it does a fantastic job way better than our old unit and also pairs with our washing machine so they talk to each other.
By searching hundreds of type of dryers on many other brands on the market and eventually this LG 9kg Dryer came to in my laundry making bright and saving my time beautifully. I know everyone has different point of views but I can guarantee this dryer will be your personal assistant to make your life easy. No need to comment anything else in terms of its performance because you must experience to understand why I'm giving away 5star review. Have a try and you will love it.
Great dryer. Love that it's much quieter than my last LG one. I feel like some of the items are a bit damp when the cycle is finish but they dry very quickly once they cool down.
LGWe bought LG dryer one month ago. Design, colour, function knob and LG thinQ app are impressive. It doesn't heat up the laundry room. I think 1 hour cycle is enough to dry 75% capacity of any type clothes except duvet. Duvet setting should have a reverse function to the spin. Quilt just tumbles up into a ball and doesn't dry up properly.Overall happy with the purchase as I bought both washer and dryer together. Looks awesome in the laundry room.
Been using this dryer for a few weeks. Love it. Great size for a family of 5 adults. Easy to empty the water container and best of all, no condensation in my small laundry and economically 9 stars saving on electricity bills.
Very happy with the product especially with it's massive size and drying power. I am able to dry most of the plushy toys including these 60cm tall ones, the drying results were also very pleasant. The only tricky part was for these very fluffy blanket and quilts, i.e. large in volume, you will need to take them out and fold in a different way in order to get them dried thoroughly. You could also connect it to the LF app, which will notify one once the cycle is completed, very handy on a busy day.
