A Game-Changer for Effortless Laundry

This condenser dryer has been a fantastic addition to my home. The sleek black steel finish, quiet operation, and ease of use make it a standout appliance. And the best part? It doesn't need to be vented, making it even more convenient. I used to dread doing laundry, but this dryer has made the process so much smoother. It's the small things that make a big impact and this appliance is a perfect example of that. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly dryer.

Absolutely the worst dryer I have ever bought!

I could not be more disappointed in this dryer, as it simply does not do what it’s advertised to do, which is dry washing! It's actually impossible to dry sheets in this dryer. It only turns 1 way, which means, sheets roll up into a ball almost immediately. (See pic attached) I wouldn’t mind opening the dryer to shake them out once or twice during the drying cycle, but you literally need to stand watch and do it every 2 minutes. And as it's a heat pump dryer the cycle length for sheets is about 3 hours so it takes all day. Given it has a remote start feature, it’s a reasonable expectation that you shouldn’t need to stand watch over the dryer for the entire cycle in order for it to actually dry, otherwise there would be no use for remote start!? In addition to this, the advertised sensor function doesn’t appear to work at all. I put my towels into dry and the sensor said it would need 2 hours. I went back after only 1 hr and they were bone dry but the cycle still indicated another hour remaining. Same with the sheets. Every time I shake them out and put them in again, it indicates an additional 2 1/2 hours, so in fact I’ve never managed to get to the end of a cycle drying my sheets as they’d literally be in there all day. I sent a complaint to LG 2 weeks ago and have still heard nothing back which is also incredibly frustrating when I've spent $2000 on a dryer! Would not recommend at all!

Awesome Allergy Cycle & Does Shoes!

I love how one whole side of the dial is committed for delicates and I can select normal delicates, warm air or even cool air for them. I don't have to be allergic to use this cycle though because I find it refreshes beautifully my blankets and things that can get a build up of allergens. This option is brilliant! I also love that it doesn't steam up my little laundry and I plan to buy the matching washer when my current washer gives up the ghost because they are designed to fit together compactly - perfect for smaller laundries! I have it in black which looks smart and modern. This dryer has a "I ThinQ" feature which seems to adjust automatically to the loads needs - like if it needs less drying time. There is a whole bunch of other features that I haven't explored yet too so it's a machine for the complex smart person as well as those who don't want to think too much. It's got a blue tooth option which means I can turn the dryer off even if I'm not at home with my phone! Very handy for those who are worried about leaving an appliance on and having left it on after leaving the house. I have a family of five and we use this machine every day several times a day. It's excellent huge size fits big loads or a blanket and I can also just do a pair of shoes if I want to. I'm looking forward to discovering more of it's features in the future. There is a happy relaxing tune it gently plays when it's finished a load - it's not one of those annoying beeps which you get with a fridge etc. It's a gentle tune that is very pleasant and soft on the ears. It's easy to maintain by emptying the dust collecter and the water collecter. I used to have to buy more clothes/towels/blankets if the weather was really rainy but now with this I just dry my washed clothes/products. It has truly changed my life and I would buy another all over again and recommend this to my friends and family. In fact I already have.

Best dryer I have owned
21 September 2021

This dryer replaces a 30 year old school dryer, so it's not hard to be better and more efficient in every way. I have a large family and have a 10KG LG washer, so a matching unit was a nice to have, but not the ultimate decision-maker. The beauty of a dryer this size is that I can effectively move an entire load of washing directly from the washer to the dryer without having to worry about splitting it or overloading the dryer. As for efficiency, this manged to dry clothes in about the same time it takes to another load of washing so on those cold wet Melbourne days you can go through and do load after load back to back unlike my old dryer. This thing does connect to WiFi, although I don't quite see the point of anything other than the notifications you can get on ... MoreThis dryer replaces a 30 year old school dryer, so it's not hard to be better and more efficient in every way. Apparently if you have a newer LG Washer they will talk to coordinate starting the next load of washing at the right time too so it's ready when the dryer finishes, but not something I see a lot of benefit in.

Fantastic product
24 February 2023

Excellent machine, we did lots of research and narrowed down on this or the Bosch Series 8. Went with the LG as had faster drying times compared to the Bosch (choice and preset times on machine). Had this for about a month now and its been superb, super quick drying time compared to our last heat pump and is relativity quiet too. No regrets going with this unit LG makes great fridges and aircons and the underlying technology is the same (heat exchange compressor) so have some confidence this will last. That being said nothing lasts forever so will be happy to get 5 years out of it at a minimum time will tell.

Great for the power bill
5 September 2022

The dryer is great on power and all clothing but terrible for towels, sheets and doona covers. The towels and sheets twist so badly that they dont dry in the middle and the Fiona covers, particularly the queen cover turn themselves into a queen sized knot with any sheets or other items in the dryer at the same time are tied up in - literally. When drying the sheets etc I have to untangle/untwist at least twice during the cycle to ensure they dry. I would recommend but note that it needs supervision and assistance when drying towels, sheets and other bedding which given the cost shouldnt be necessary.

Great performance and convenience!
23 June 2022

I bought this product for the size of my family 6 people. It works well and is easy to operate for everyone including parents and teenagers. It comes with a simple installation - balance on the floor or on top of a washer. I put it on top of an LG washer and they work together well. The door is wide open for loading and unloading so I did not need to swap the cover (it has an opposite cover to a washer) No problem. It has been only a few weeks without issues and hope it will be like that for a long time!

Love it!
5 September 2022

The dryer is great - takes only an hour to dry a full load of washing on the Mixed Fabric setting. It's been good selecting extra dry setting (adds roughly 10 mins) for my partners bamboo socks that never use to dry in old dryer. Also, way quieter than old vented machine. We have it stacked on top of matching machine and it looks so neat! We haven't been able to set up the automatic draining yet as we have to go buy a connector piece so we can have both machine and dryer into drain hole of sink so it's a little annoying constantly emptying water pan but once we sort that out it will be great! Look forward to seeing how this machine keeps up.

Sheets still ball
19 June 2022

Had trouble connecting with wifi. Sent email to support to resubmit a password but heard nothing back. The sheets ball into a blob even tho I was told that it had a reverse motion to prevent this. There is a vent at back that needs vacuuming, making it impossible for me to access. Bad design The black and blue writing is hard to see and the cycles dont seem to have much range. The water and filter need emptying after each use. The machine is very quiet but thats about all that is positive. I still have to hang my sheets over furniture to dry them for our bnb.
