LG 9kg Heat Pump Dryer

This condenser dryer has been a fantastic addition to my home. The sleek black steel finish, quiet operation, and ease of use make it a standout appliance. And the best part? It doesn't need to be vented, making it even more convenient. I used to dread doing laundry, but this dryer has made the process so much smoother. It's the small things that make a big impact and this appliance is a perfect example of that. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly dryer.

I could not be more disappointed in this dryer, as it simply does not do what it’s advertised to do, which is dry washing! It's actually impossible to dry sheets in this dryer. It only turns 1 way, which means, sheets roll up into a ball almost immediately. (See pic attached) I wouldn’t mind opening the dryer to shake them out once or twice during the drying cycle, but you literally need to stand watch and do it every 2 minutes. And as it's a heat pump dryer the cycle length for sheets is about 3 hours so it takes all day. Given it has a remote start feature, it’s a reasonable expectation that you shouldn’t need to stand watch over the dryer for the entire cycle in order for it to actually dry, otherwise there would be no use for remote start!? Every time I shake them out and put them in again, it indicates an additional 2 1/2 hours, so in fact I’ve never managed to get to the end of a cycle drying my sheets as they’d literally be in there all day. I sent a complaint to LG 2 weeks ago and have still heard nothing back which is also incredibly frustrating when I've spent $2000 on a dryer! Would not recommend at all!

The various features are a standout for this life-changing machine - I especially love the shoe rack feature which I've been using quite a lot because I walk my husky whether it rains or shines and this summer especially I have gotten wet shoes because it's rained a lot. This rack allows my shoes to be dried for the next walk! No sun needed. It's great also for wet/washed bags. I love how one whole side of the dial is committed for delicates and I can select normal delicates, warm air or even cool air for them. I love how it has an allergy cycle too because I have animals and also a daughter who is dust-mite allergic. I also love that it doesn't steam up my little laundry and I plan to buy the matching washer when my current washer gives up the ghost because they are designed to fit together compactly - perfect for smaller laundries! I have it in black which looks smart and modern. This dryer has a "I ThinQ" feature which seems to adjust automatically to the loads needs - like if it needs less drying time. There is a whole bunch of other features that I haven't explored yet too so it's a machine for the complex smart person as well as those who don't want to think too much. It's got a blue tooth option which means I can turn the dryer off even if I'm not at home with my phone! Very handy for those who are worried about leaving an appliance on and having left it on after leaving the house. I have a family of five and we use this machine every day several times a day. It's excellent huge size fits big loads or a blanket and I can also just do a pair of shoes if I want to. I'm looking forward to discovering more of it's features in the future. There is a happy relaxing tune it gently plays when it's finished a load - it's not one of those annoying beeps which you get with a fridge etc. It's a gentle tune that is very pleasant and soft on the ears. It's easy to maintain by emptying the dust collecter and the water collecter. I used to have to buy more clothes/towels/blankets if the weather was really rainy but now with this I just dry my washed clothes/products. It has truly changed my life and I would buy another all over again and recommend this to my friends and family. In fact I already have.
