Wow. This unit is amazing and can handle the huge loads. Cloths come out amazing and fresh. Love the reminders sent to my LG tv and my phone. Only issue is the dryer stopped drying the loads no matter what cycle / mode its set to. (All filters and drain hose are clear and free) tryed calling customer service (disappointed to see this has now been sent over seas) had issues with the rep so sent an email 3 days later finaly arranged for a service call now the wait to have the "a.r.c" to respond...

I must admit I was hesitant to buy this wash combo due to the price but after reading reviews I bit the bullet and ordered it through my local good guys. The worst thing was waiting for the machine to come - took about 4 weeks. It has saved me so much time in the laundry. We had a 8kg washer and 4kg dryer previously. With a family of 6, I was constantly washing clothes - it was endless, this machine lets me get the entire weekly wash done in 3-4 loads (as opposed to 8-10 before). The washing machine is huge - I love the light that comes On when you open the door. It seriously holds so much clothing! The dryer is awesome. I love the anti crease feature. After a few months I still believe this is a fantastic machine. So big, so quiet & handles anything. Everything is washed super clean, no problems with a tiny load of washing or full sized blankets & doona's. The heat pump dryer works excellently and no much slower than a vented dryer at less than half the power used. The wash tower is a great purchase.

This washer dryer combo is amazing. I can clean larger loads or clothes making my weekly washing needing to be done less often, and with all this rain we have had I can easily get it all dry straight after. The dryer has many different settings allowing for my washing to come out dry every time and it doesnt leave that yuck dryer smell to any of them. Everyone that has seen my washer/dryer has said they want one. It really is amazing.

Now you can adjust the cycle to fit your needs each time but I would have thought that if its going to wash a full 17kg load it should take about 3hours to complete, but no! Super quick average load time for cotton cycle is 55min. The clothes come out smelling better for some reason and cleaner. In the meantime you can set the dryer to preheat and get the clothes dry in no time at all. There is no steam that gets left on your walls and your room stays dry. Really love this wash tower and couldn't be happier with it. It is very, very quiet compared to other washers that I have had in the past. I was also really surprised by the wash times, as was expecting long cycles after reading other reviews - however the timing has been fine! The quality of the wash has been superb, with a noticeable difference in how clean and soft clothes are coming out, and an added bonus is being able to do a large amount of washing in one go. Would highly recommend this machine!
This was a truly a life changing product for myself, previously I owned a small 5kg washer and dryer that was 18yrs old and that the dryer would need a Chernobyl like event to get the slightest bit of warmth and the sound it made was like a 747 taking off from Afghanistan. It would take me 3 days to wash and dry all the clothes from the weeks activities, among all the other household chores I would frequently do washing the clothes was the most stressful, sometimes my wife would lock me in the laundry and not let me out till it was done. It's not just a washing machine/dryer tower but a "Tower of Power". Amazing capacity where a week's worth of the family's laundry can be done in one wash - just need more line space! Washes clothes extremely well and dries appropriate clothes amazingly without generating excessive heat or moisture. Wifi feature is very convenient giving options for wash programs and makes monitoring washing times easy. Only negative is that the wash programs presets are very rigid and not very customisable.
The washing and drying performance of the machine is good, however we have had a few concerning issues in the first month. First one, the machine said it was finished, went to unload and there was water on the floor and the clothes had not spun at all it seemed. Water marks indicated water had come out of the dispenser box. Ran a spin cycle, hasn't happened again. Second issue was an error code that basically just said call support in the manual. Turned washer off and on and away it went again. Third is the dryer sounds like it's a car driving with a large flat spot on the tyres if there is no load or a light'ish load in it. I think the drum is out of balance, but maybe it is normal. Performance is still good. I have had three different heat pump dryers over the years (Panasonic, Electrolux, AEG) along with matching front loader washers, and none have even come close to the performance of the LG Wash Tower. It dries far better than any I have experienced and the capacity of the washing machine is amazing!! Very intuitive, so simple to use and it's whisper quiet. I have no hesitation in recommending this incredible "workhorse" to everyone. Also cannot fault the customer service and delivery/ installation guys at Good Guys, Mackay - absolutely outstanding.
