Excellent washer, exceeds all my expectations. Was concerned about size but it’s the perfect size for two people. We moved into a smaller apartment without Connections. I got a 12 ft hot cold water line and a 10 ft drain extension and plumbed it into the bathroom sink. Used Minisplit covers to conceal the pipes and works great. Love the smart home app and is by far the best appliance I have ever bought. Cleans clothes really well unless you over pack it. I paired with inexpensive Rovsun dryer that I put in a closet and vented out a window. Overall the best temp washer/dryer setup possible for a rental.Even if you own this machine is excellent. Perfect size and tiny compared to others.

Because of the laundry room configuration in the (used) house we purchased, I was stuck with purchasing a compact washer and dryer. The laundry room had been beautifully remodeled and changing it wasn't a viable option. So, for the size, I am pleased with the washer. It has lots of options and my clothes are clean. As it is just my husband and I, washing smaller loads more frequently is fine. We only have queen sized sheets, but I don't think king would fit or wash well. I have only had the set for two weeks, so I can't speak to durability. If you don't need lots of washer capacity, I think you will be pleased with this machine.

This is a smaller than average washer, so when the bottle says to use minimal detergent, use even less, or else you’ll get suds at the end of the load. You’ll get the feel for it after a few loads. It’s easy to add another rinse if you need it. And if you’re coming from a non-HE washer, make sure your previously laundered items don’t have residual soap suds in them. Lastly, be sure to wipe excess water from both the gasket area AND the detergent dispenser area after the load is done. A lot of water can get trapped in the latter. Do that and leave the door ajar, and you’ll be good to go. I’m at five months in and used the cleaning cycle monthly, and haven’t had any odor issues yet.

Wanted a ventless dryer and this was one of the few options that paired up with one. I chose it over some others because it's the best looking one, but now I'm sorry I was swayed by its good looks. It only looks good when it's off. When it's actually running, specifically on the spin cycle, it vibrates so much that my whole house shakes. It is perfectly level, correctly installed, with vibration pads under the feet. And yet still, when the spin cycle happens it sounds like a jet engine about to take off and the things in my house start bouncing around. If youre planning on locating on a concrete slab on the first floor maybe it would work for you, but if you're putting it anywhere else steer clear of this one.

The floor needs to be stable although it is smaller units than normal size still needs stability. I bought this new LG Washer a few weeks ago. After it was installed, we noticed that water was leaking from under the unit and running out on top of and under our floor tiles. I called LG and they said they don't do repairs in Manhattan and they would "look for" a local repair company. Meanwhile, the store I bought it from sent two guys who first said, "no leak" and then when I ran it they determined that there was a drainage leak and they reported this to LG. After another long wait LG sent a repairman who arrived WITHOUT THE PART. We are now waiting for the part to arrive so we can have a THIRD team of repairmen come to our house. This machine is great, haven't had any issues, but a few weeks ago it started making a lot of noise during the spin cycle. Sounded off balance, but the machine was level and not wobbly. Then a rust colored stain showed up on my clothes. Turns out the basket dropped which threw it off balance and water was getting into the bearings which is why the rust color was appearing. These machines are only 4 years old, and for most of that time it was just me and my husband, so it's not a ton of laundry. Cost for repairs are more than we paid for it new. My suggestion is to make sure you buy the extended warranty. We didn't, and now it makes more sense to scrap the machine and buy a new one than to pay the cost to repair it.
