So far we are extremely impressed with this dishwasher. The functionality of the racks, how it stands up bowls etc, the cutlery drawer and of course the auto open door is amazing. I love that we don't have to try and time turning on our dishwasher so we can open the door to let them dry better. Our dishes are amazingly clean and dry every load. We love it! And the matt black finish is so sleek!! Way easier to clean than our old stainless one too!!

Best dishwasher I have ever had. Quick, quiet and does an amazing job at cleaning dishes. I would recommend this Dishwasher to anyone.Now to the installation. If you are getting it installed get it done by someone else. My installers seem to have no idea what they were doing, charged me an extra $50 for 'parts' (above the original fee). And the first time I used it Water everywhere. I have since redone the connections and replaced the hose with a new one myself. I know they are only contractors and this is the fault of GG's.

Recently bought, but so far working very well. We usually scrape and clean everything, so rely on a good Express cycle. It took some time to set this with the light-touch On/Off and Turbo buttons and with the default 'Extra Dry' function this is quite a long 'express' at 1hr 21mins. However, the result is truly excellent and this is now set as our default cycle. The machine looks great, is easily stacked, holds an amazing amount and is so quiet. Most of the time the only way you can tell it is operating, is by the tiny white light in the middle of the door.Very happy.
This dishwasher is fabulous and we are so happy with it. It is very quiet and cleans and dries so well. It fits so much in, we hardly have to wash up anymore. We are in love with the matte black, we are so glad we went with it. The adjustable shelves are so handy for fitting in larger things. We love the cutlery shelf we find it keeps it so organised for when we are emptying it. It also has a adjustable part to for larger cutlery.
Some things look the part but fail to deliver. Well Im glad to say that this machine isn't one of them. So easy to install and start using.Packaging was very good and the manual was quite easy to follow. The LG was easy to understand with all buttons easy to follow. The ability to custom set for different washing needs is very welcome. All components are high quality which I've come to expect from LG appliances. The top trey can even be lowered on one side for other utensils. The middle trey is height adjustable in 3 levels but now you have much more configuration with the racks being far better reworked. The lower rack has also been reworked with a all new layout. Better configurations of the racks allowing you far mor workable solutions with deep dishes and pans that would normally be hitting the 2nd level sprayer. Not any longer. LG have done away with the traditional utensils holder which I found a bit of a annoyance especially when someone puts a pointy knife pointy nose up and you get stuck by it. Not a issue any more and no more rust spots on your metal ware.For the price I think its punching way up there with far more expensive brands.A great dishwasher that I have absolutely no issue recommending to anyone looking for a great featured dishwasher that wont break the bank.

Having had other LG appliances over the years we have been satisfied with their relative longevity. We found other reviews about the Matt black colour not being a true black. While this is true it does still blend very well with our Matt black finished kitchen cabinetry and a significant upgrade when compared to our previous stainless steel colour. So thumbs up for colour, size is spot on for our family needs and space available. The big question was whether it washed and dried properly. Only have had this for a fortnight but so far I’m happy with the adaptability of stacking, although I kept the basket from my last (non-LG) dishwasher, as the cutlery tray would drive me nuts. The cutlery tray is great for lids and cooking utensils like spatulas/fish slides etc. I’m really happy with how quiet it is, the Matt black looks great but it’s a very expensive cost - it was about $500 just for a door front in comparison with stainless steel or white options. My only negative comment is the length of the wash cycles. My previous dishwasher had a nice snappy 35 minute cycle, the shortest one this has is one hour 40 minutes. The other thing that’s annoying is since we installed this we have had a horrible water hammer in the house.

To stop pooling on the top of my mugs I just place them over one of the tines on the right hand side which places them on a steeper angle and they come out dry.
