I had read reviews about the noisy fan in this fridge but thought the reviewers were just being a bit sensitive. Surely a German designed product would have quality engineering. Very noisy when first turned on but has settled into a quieter mode of operation. The guys who delivered it had no idea how to install it. They expected to unpack and plug in . I don’t think leveling machines is in their remit. Despite that I am very happy with the wine fridge and am busy stocking it with some favorites.

Previously I have always bought Vintec but this was an offer to good to refuse. And I’m glad I didn’t. Beautiful lighting, easily adjustable shelves. Put an independent thermometer in there to test the temp - it’s exactly as it us set. Really nicely designed. Will not be my last.

There is a constant harmonic noise being produced from the fan. I have contacted Liebherr customer support and sent them a recording of the fan noise. The response was that the fan noise is normal. If this is the case then there is a design issue or poor quality components installed, of which I wouldn't expect for a product at this price point.If it wasn't for the noisy fan this product would receive a much better rating. I am currently waiting for a warranty resolution. Other reviews indicate noisy fan issues.
Overall this unit performs as well as you could hope after a month of use - it's quiet, well built, keeps a stable internal temperature, and looks about as smart as you could expect.Often, the real test for a wine cabinet is time - how well do these things perform after 6 months, or 6 years, but the warranty certainly gives peace of mind, as does Liebherr's general reputation for performance and reliability, so I'm confident.Only drawback - and it's a drawback most fridges have - is that the advertised capacity is unachievable. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone though, and will be true for all fridges - and otherwise I couldn't be happier.
Excellent Malaysian build. Operating Instruction manual supplied reads very poorly. The German to EN translation is inaccurate. No information on how/ when to run the Ventilation fan. The door lock is clunky. The control panel is plastic, the buttons are flimsy and the lighting is poor. An upgrade is over due. But the engineering seems fine, the internal temp seems stable. No indication of humidity levels. Good quality appliance, but improvements are over due.
The fridge works well but the bottle stacking is a bit of a challenge, especially with the larger diameter euro style bottles. They tend to want to slip out onto the floor when you open the door, which is a drama. I plan to muck about and find the best way to stack them to avoid this nuisance…maybe use lower shelf for top grade stuff in reserve for special occasions and then make for top shelf to stand up bottles on their base end? Work in progress

Seems to be efficient with respect to maintaining a reasonable temperature range. Also, good warranty period (three years standard, five years extended).More details: In the evenings, the wine cellar can be heard running (at 45-48 dB), even in a different room. We’ve had another Liebherr (Vinothek model, made in Austria) for over ten years, and it is quiet (30-35 dB) and hasn't skipped a beat in the time we've had it. I note that the model under review was made in Malaysia.With the cellar set to 11°C and the unit half-full, the temperature fluctuation is around +/– 1.5°C – 2.0°C, so that seems reasonable. ...
