I love my new Life Straw water bottle with lead reduction! It‚Äôs really the perfect size for a child. And with the filter in it you can rest assured that your child can drink virtually any water safely. We enjoy going for walks & there are many fountains at out local park. I‚Äôm always worried about what is in that non-filtered water and this bottle makes me feel a lot better about it. You can also grab water from a stream but I try not to make a habit of that. The bottle is very well made & sturdy, I love that you can personalize it, and the colors are adorable. The only con, I would say, is that the straw is a bit hard to drink out of. My kids didn‚Äôt seem to have a problem drinking out of it though so maybe it was just a user error. Overall, super impressed, I ... MoreI love my new Life Straw water bottle with lead reduction! The fact that the filter last 2 months or more is also huge. Even BIGGER in my world? The fact that once you remove the filter, the rest of the bottle is dishwasher safe. The only "con" for us is that the bottle itself is kind of heavy for small hands to lift up and drink out of.

Lifestraw play bottle was really a savior on our camping trip. I really liked this bottle for my child because of its filtration technology. It has a microfilter and replaceable filter. The filter can be replaced as needed and I don't have to buy new bottle. It gives me peace of mind that it filters bacteria, parasites, microplastics and chemicals from the water, BPA free and hence safe for child. It is lightweight and not bulky. But the filtration system is big and takes decent space in the bottle leaving less space for water. The design is kids friendly, the child can‚Äôt lose the bottle cap and fits securely. My child was able to open and close it easily. Moreover, it comes with different variety of stickers to put on bottle cap, my child really enjoyed putting ... MoreLifestraw play bottle was really a savior on our camping trip. The feeling of having a water filtration at the ease of your water bottle is quite satisfactory.I tried the LifeStraw Play with Lead Reduction ,it is kid friendly water bottle with integrated advanced filtration. Its Made with the highest quality materials, durable, leak-proof and easy-to-clean.The mouthpiece is silicon ,soft to feel, water comes through the filter to the mouthpiece without much effort. I am not sure if this filter changes the taste of the water but I find water tasting better with LifeStraw filter than my regular filtration system at home. I can have safe water from any tap, public water fountain without any worry.Below are its specifications:* LifeStraw Play includes an advanced 2 stage filter (microbiological and carbon filters), bottle, cap ... MoreThe feeling of having a water filtration at the ease of your water bottle is quite satisfactory.I tried the LifeStraw Play with Lead Reduction ,it is kid friendly water bottle with integrated advanced filtration. I can have safe water from any tap, public water fountain without any worry.Below are its specifications:* LifeStraw Play includes an advanced 2 stage filter (microbiological and carbon filters), bottle, cap with silicon mouthpiece* Filtration technology: Hollow fiber microfiltration membrane (0.2 microns) with an activated carbon filter* Hollow fiber filter lifetime: 500 gallons (2,000 liters). Pores clog over time as the filter is used; reaching end of life when water cannot pass through* Carbon filter lifetime: 25 gallons (100 liters). With frequent use, recommended to change filter every 3 months* Bottle material: Tritan plastic, BPA free, dishwasher safe (once filter is removed)My take:This is the most innovative product which we all need when there is so much pollutant and chemical in everything we eat and drink. It would have been better if the purification was not just based on sipping the water through the filter, so that one bottle can be shared with others if needed( can not share my used mouthpiece with others). Also I would prefer a little bigger size ,the current size is not enough for the adults, needs frequent refill due to its small size.My overall opinion is very favorable and I would like to buy a few for the other members of the family as this is far better ,safe and economic than buying bottled water.
This past weekend we went to the zoo and aquarium and it was the perfect opportunity to try and review our Lifestraw bottle. Perfect for on-the-go car trips. No leaks while traveling, held just the right amount of water, 10 oz., with a cute blue designed shape. Perfect size for my child's hands, sturdy and durable but lightweight, free of BPA.No more drinking out of water drinking fountains. We filled out bottle and knew the filtration was doing its job. Peace of mind and confident knowing my children were getting clean, filtered water in the straw. This gives us access to safe, clean water from all public taps. Such improved water taste and no smells from chlorine. We are planning on buying some for an home emergency kit. Highly recommended. Now to get the kids to share this bottle. Perfect stocking stuffer. Thanks for letting me review this amazing product.
This water bottle from LifeStraw has been the perfect bottle for my daughter to use everyday. The lid is easy to open and close by simply turning it. It is also hard to get this bottle to leak, which is perfect when you have five year old using it. The bottle itself is very sturdy and has already survived multiple drops. It's a lot of fun for kids to choose which picture they want to use on the lid and it comes with eight different options; you can also draw your own picture and use it on the lid. I found that if you fill the bottle with water to the first or second line on the grid after the "w" in "LifeStraw" it is the perfect amount to allow room for the filter. Both my daughter and myself are extremely pleased with this water bottle. Visually very cute. Comes with little discs that can go inside the cap to made it personable with different designs. I wrote my son‚Äôs name on one of the discs so it could be sent along to school. Easy to assemble and disassemble, and easy to clean, the bottle is dishwasher safe when the filter is taken out. It only holds about 10 oz of water so you‚Äôll need to be around a water source to refill the bottle as needed, but since it filters out 99.999% of bacteria, parasites and microplastics you don‚Äôt need to worry as much about the where the water is coming from. It really improves the taste of the water, we have used it with water from a park water fountain and the taste was very different! Replacement filters look like their easily purchased on their website and it‚Äôs great to know that they last roughly 2 years. Another great feature is you know when the filter‚Äôs life is over when you‚Äôre not able to draw water through it ‚Äď no more using dirty old filter because I‚Äôve forgotten how long I‚Äôve had it, ha!
This water bottle is cute and perfect size for little ones. It is easy to clean and once you get an adult to suck it hard enough just to get the flow going it's easy to suck on and get water out of the mouthpieces made of some kind of soft silicone. It has cute little POG type round cardboard cartoon cutouts to stick underneath the lid for decoration. It is perfect for where we live. In Fresno we have some now some great water. Some of our water had found at one time to have lead in it and not sure if it still does so I do not trust it. Do you use bottled water for everything from our little ones bottles to our own drinking water oh, our water is so bad that even the taste of it makes my stomach nauseous. I have tried water out of this water bottle and it tastes a little less gross with that. I love that it is BPA free because that is one of the main things about plastic nowadays that worry me especially when it comes to my kids and what they use and put in their body and what they're using it out of. The LifeStraw play with LED reduction is a great cup for kids and adults alike, I use it as well sometimes lol. I will be buying more of these and I definitely recommend.
I recently saw a documentary on the danger of lead in contaminated water and it was eye opening. Knowing that by using this water bottle we can have fresh clean water anywhere gives me a piece of mind. The bottle is perfect size for children , easy to grab and the ability to personalize it was a big hit at home. It is durable and of good quality, it would most definitely be able to withstand a bit of roughness. The silicon mouthpiece is a little bit tricky at first but once you get used to it it gets easier to drink through it. I will have to say that I don't think little ones would be able to suck on it but this is just my opinion as my children are a bit older and are able to make it work. Leak Proof is an added bonus.Overall this is a good product that serves a great purpose. I'm happy with it.
First off this bottle is the prefect size for children but much too small for adults. The mouthpiece is good. It is a soft silicone type material so even if your children tend to bite on their cups it is not scraped or ruined in anyway. My children are big biters and no holes in the mouthpiece so far. We live in Southern California so we needed them to have clean water no matter where we are. This bottle seemed like a reasonably priced solution. Although I cant speak to whether it is actually filtering the water we have used it at tons of beach sinks and water fountains and they seem to work fine. They come with little pictures to put in the top of the bottle which really helps to keep track of them. The kids put one in originally and haven't ever asked to change ... MoreFirst off this bottle is the prefect size for children but much too small for adults. The mouthpiece is good. The only issue we have had is my 4 year old daughter just cannot seem to get the hang of closing the bottle top. She is unable to thread it correctly so it doesn't screw on perfectly and it really seems to frustrate her. Other than that I give it a solid 4 stars for function.
