I bought this as I have Raynauds which causes my fingertips to turn blue and lose circulation, and I was spending a fortune on disposable handwarmers. I picked up one of these at the suggestion of a friend and I absolutely love it. I ended up adding a Tile to it so I wouldn't lose it. I'm not sure how long it lasts with continuous use, but for my condition, turning it on for a few minutes at a time works well. I only need to use it on the lowest setting of heat to get my hands warm again. First time use is a bit tricky as you have to press and hold the power button to get it going, and the same for switching it off. Once you have adjusted/worked out the timings though, its a very easy thing to grab from your pocket and use without looking.Definitely recommended and ... MoreI bought this as I have Raynauds which causes my fingertips to turn blue and lose circulation, and I was spending a fortune on disposable handwarmers. Brought this to replace reusable hand warmers (the ones you put in hot water to "reset") as I have bad circulation in my hands. It is a game changer for me. I use it mornings at the gym to keep my hands warm between exercises. Very happy with the size and how it feels when holding. Warms up very quickly and the adjustable heat settings are a great feature.

At first I was simply going to buy this for my grandma so she could warm her hands at her work. She works outdoors and she gets cold easily. However, after reading a review discussing how it helped someone with their chronic pain, I decided to get it in hopes it would assist her in that regard as well since she does have back pain, knee pain, and what I understand is mild arthritis. She has messaged me thanking me for buying it for her weekly. She says that it's been a life saver because she has to take a blanket to work and this really helps her stay warm when she cant have a blanket on. On top of that, she did say that it does help her calm the pain a bit which is wonderful to hear! She just recently tried to charge her phone and it worked - which is also amazing ... MoreAt first I was simply going to buy this for my grandma so she could warm her hands at her work. I really like that it heat up as fast as 10 seconds. Surprisingly light weight and the battery can last for a day (about 8 hours of use in my case). I bring this to work everyday now it can also be used as a power bank. I usually only use the lowest level since it’s already hot enough. Overall a great purchase!
Upon my first use, I was rather disappointed. I have raynauds and being out in the cold can be a serious problem. There are times that I need to warm my hands up fast, because they have gotten too cold.I thought this item would be a better alternative to the disposable or reheatable hand warmers. The first use was rather disappointing, as it took quite awhile to heat up. I didn't have my hands wrapped up in anything, but was using it like the pictures had shown.I used it again in my vehicle about an hour later, and had my hands wrapped up in a small blanket. The heat seemed to be much greater and lasted longer than the last time. The lingering pain that comes with Raynauds was eased faster as well.I like the feel and size of this little unit. It is small enough to be held in my jacket pockets or a mitten, but not so small that my thumbs don't get the heat.I like the idea of being able to recharge it with a USB connection, and it can charge other electronics as well.Being portable and available for quick use, is such a relief to a person with this disorder.I have considered buying more for work and my vehicle. I am going to make a small blanket roll, that I can slide my hands in both ends and hold the warmer.
Gosh! I really love this thing. I've been tempted to purchase another one, and I haven't even used it as a hand warmer, yet, as my snow trip was postponed. LOL! Who knew I would find so many other uses for it? It is light-weight enough that I can easily carry it in my purse or pocket for when I'm hiking or traveling and need to recharge my phone, earbuds, or mini speaker.
I charged it completely and gave it to my coworker who was more than excited to have something to help warm her. She said the temperature was phenomenal and said she now had something to take with her any where she feels cold. I would recommend this for anyone who gets cold easy and hope the person could get the same satisfaction from it. It was worth the money.
Better than the pictures and more useful than described. This little gadget is way more than a simple hand warmer. The uses are endless. Just use your imagination. It's a replacement for messy gels like icy hot or can be used for hot rock therapy pain relief by simulating a heated rock. I could go on and on. I have 3 herniated disks in my lower back and when the pain becomes unbearable I simply place the warmer on high power and then use my back support belt as a way to keep the little warmer in place, directly over the area in pain and I get instant relief, rather than trying to smear that messy horrible smelling icy hot gel on the area in pain, which is usually located in my lower back region and the hardest place to try to reach without asking someone else for ... MoreBetter than the pictures and more useful than described. I also place it under my body in bed and move it around until I get it positioned under the area in pain and the heat helps reduce the pain so I can fall asleep and since I have owned one of these useful gadgets I have been able to get a full 8 hour night of sleep which was impossible before I had one because I was in so much pain that IF I could even fall asleep, I would constantly be woken up all night from the pain. So if the manufacturers of these hand warmers were to change the title and description of this product and added a list of potential uses, I believe that their sales would easily triple in a matter of months because everyone is looking for a alternative solution to pain relief.
This hand warmer has made my husband a happier guy. His hands are always cold and I thought this would be the perfect little gift. He carries it with him from room to room, just in case. If you’re thinking about this for yourself or someone as a gift, don’t hesitate, buy it!!!!
This item has three settings, low, medium and high. These settings are only indicted by dots (1 = low, 2 = medium etc.). So at first I thought, okay highest first to see how hot it gets... because things on the hottest setting always make sense to touch. It got hot quickly (in about 10-20 seconds) and untouchable in about 30. I quickly realized that this wasn't going to be a lukewarm item, which I like (+1).I bought two of these, one for each hand (why they don't sell them as a pair is....) After putting them in my gloves and going outside in 14 degree weather (-10 Celsius) these items worked from 8AM to 2PM without fail. I later turned it back on, without charging, and got another hour out of it before charging them up regardless. So i'm not sure how long they last, but they last awhile. These are roughly the size of my palm (6' tall giant hands) and slip into my gloves nicely. The only thing I will say is that if you do any work with these in your gloves, it might not go well. They are too large to keep in your gloves to hold anything. I'll continue to use these until either the item stops working or there's an issue.
