Great looking and sturdy shed! It's tall, it fits all the outdoor stuff in our backyard.I put one cheap shelving unit ($16 from Bunnings) inside which makes better room too.I usually assemble everything by myself (160cm woman) but this one... it took 3 days with my husband (during his lunch time) together. You literally have to build this from scratch... but still worth it.Some parts didn't go well (watch YouTube video for better help) but still works as a shed so 100% recommend this shed.

Although all wall, floor and roof components are plastic, they are stiffened in critical places with metal rods inserted inside to give adequate stiffness. The shed was easy to assemble, the only troublesome areas being fitting the doorhandles (no pre-identified drill hole locations) and screws through the metal stiffeners (supplied drill screws were ineffective and had to drill holes before inserting screw). The plastic floor is a little flimsy and does not compensate for uneven foundation, but is adequate on compacted earth provided it is perfectly flat, level and drained well. Accessory wall hooks etc are expensive but generic hardware fittings can be affixed to walls with bolts and nuts rather than screws. Overall, an expensive little shed but it has the quality ... MoreAlthough all wall, floor and roof components are plastic, they are stiffened in critical places with metal rods inserted inside to give adequate stiffness. This shed appears to be well constructed. It assembled in about 4 hours, and it actually came with CLEARLY WRITTEN INSTRUCTION! There were a couple of places where I had to re-read instructions because the diagram insert appears to have additional parts that are actually molded into the shed, or a washer and screw appears to be a single unit per the diagram. I was impressed when the 12 hinge screws, hinge divots, and hinges aligned perfectly so the screws matched with the predrilled hinge channels holes. The only issue I am having is the left door measures slightly shorter than the right door, thus the left and right doors bind at the bottom and do not properly align or close. This difference also keeps the left door lock from properly aligning with the right door ... MoreThis shed appears to be well constructed. The left lock is designed with room for adjustment, but not enough to compensate for the difference created by the mis-sized doors. This misalignment is surprising when considering the zero error tolerance when assembling the hinges, channel and door through an undrilled plastic molding. I am waiting for comment from customer support for the door alignment issue, but, I anticipate several years of use from this shed.

Left Door Problems
23 March 2019

I read all the reviews before purchasing my shed, and except for missing parts, saw nothing negative. When I got to "Skip"'s review that said he did it by himself, I felt very confident. But whoever puts this shed together in 4 hours should get bonus points of some kind. My husband (who is NOT a handyman) and I followed the steps through 2.17 on page 36 with no problems at all. We thought we were in the home stretch. Then we went to step 2.18 on page 37. Total disaster from that point on! First, we trusted the divot placements for the hinges. (They were spot-on for the right door so why should we question the left door instructions?) Well, DON'T screw the hinges into the left wall panel until you have matched up the two doors and ignored the divots. Total disaster from that point on! First, we trusted the divot placements for the hinges. (They were spot-on for the right door so why should we question the left door instructions?) Well, DON'T screw the hinges into the left wall panel until you have matched up the two doors and ignored the divots. The divot placement will result in the left door being a full ¼ inch lower than the right door which causes all kinds of problems from this point on. Because the left door is LOWER, step 2.20 is totally impossible to execute. We tried for a full hour to make part FEL allow the left door to close and finally just gave up and left it off the shed. HOWEVER, that means step 2.22 cannot be executed. We even tried securing the deadbolt directly onto the door without part FEL. The door is too low. So we left off the two deadbolts. This means the doors wiggle when closed. Oh well...we DID manage to force step 2.19 and semi-align the door latch. Note to Lifetime: advise purchasers to ignore the divots in step 2.18 and just attach the hinges wherever they need to be to align the two doors (starting with the top hinge, not the middle hinge). Everything will go well (I think) after that.

Light, cheap, easy, but not waterproof.
3 January 2023

Easy to build (one person job ~1hr if you are handy), lightweight, looks good. Only issue is it is not entirely watertight. The roof over the double doors has no drip line, so the water draws back to the underside of the roof and behind the doors, pooling on the floor. If the roof was 5mm higher then a bead of silicone could help, but there is no room for this.Rather than replace the shed I will install a piece of polycarb (running left to right) on top to fix this and prevent runoff over the doors.

Mum loves it!

This was an easy build, took us about 2.5 hours all in. All parts provided, and clear visual step-by-step instructions. Needs a decent drill, cordless screwdriver, and a socket wrench. I forgot to bring the socket wrench but Mum was better organized than me :-)Be careful with the cordless screwdriver as the plastic walls do not forgive you for applying too much torque. Make sure you put the hinges in the right way around.A lovely little shed that probably makes less noise in a hailstorm than the Absco metal sheds. Takes the broom, rake, shovel and the Husqvarna barrel mower like a pro.The only bummer is that it seems Bunnings does not stock any of the accessories such as shelves or hooks - may need to ask the Special Orders Desk for these. Nice vertical storage unit
30 December 2022

Great shed for a small courtyard. It's quite sturdy and looks far nicer than the metal sheds. Assembled by two people. Some of the holes needed to be predrilled, especially when you have to drill into the metal poles within the shed walls. All the small parts were neatly blistered packed and labelled. Both written and video instructions were available.

Prefect size for the balcony!
2 January 2022

I purchased Lifetime vertical storage shed at Bunnings. I chose this shed as I need something small for the balcony. The smallest shed from other manufacturers either stands too tall or is made up with metal materials. Lifetime shed is made up with plastic materials with few heavy steel rods in various structural locations. The overall shed structure is firm and does not feel flimsy.Construction tips:1. You will need 2 person to put the shed. I didn't encounter misaligned drill locations as mention by other reviewers.2. Watch the Youtube video on how to construct the shed. The links are included in the installation manual. I find the video helpful as the manual instruction can get confusing.3. Patience. Took me and my bro 3hrs to put it up. The screws packages are annoying. The Americans needs to name their parts better. "Drill ADV into ANY panel" .I would definitely recommend this shed for small backyard or balcony.

Really well thought out design.

Took me about four hours or so to assemble by myself. As the instructions say, it is easier with two people, but you find ways arounds things when you have to. Some of the holes did not line up, as can be expected with a mass produced item. But again, you make it work. I have never seen the fixture packs for kits like this all neatly blister packed and coded for super easy identification, was a nice touch that made a difference. Definitely use the (included) drill bits to pre-drill or enlarge holes. Yes, drill bits and a Philips bit were included in the pack! Another nice touch, although I did end up breaking the small bit so, safety glasses people. All up though I am really impressed with the quality of the whole kit. Responsive Customer Service

The good news is that Lifetime actually has a customer service department with a real person that answers the phone. They are quite friendly. I had to call them because my box of parts was missing 4 of the 5 hardware bags that it was supposed to contain. I had to call twice because the first time they only sent me 2 of the missing 4 bags. (I should point out that most of the missing hardware was NOT something you could easily replace at a hardware store.) Assembly took quite a while - partly because I did not have a helper to assist me - and was reasonably straightforward. The worst problem I encountered was attaching the roof to the walls with screws - as the holes did not quite line up properly - after struggling for almost an hour, I got my wife to lean on the roof while I hand drove in the necessary screws. IMHO all the provided screws could usefully be about 1/8" to 1/4" longer and that would help them to gain traction. After completing final assembly I found I needed to get a bit violent with the doors to get them to line up properly so that they would latch and lock properly - I expect that this problem will get better over time.
