Lily of The Valley by Yardley London Body Mist 200ml

I love lily of the valley.. it's an old scent that used to be around when I went to school. I was happy when I saw that it was on the market again. It is not overpowering. I used the dusting powder and I love it. Try it, you'll love it too.

Smells like a bottle full of flowers. It's so pretty. You get lots of scent but you don't smell like a vat of perfume. It has very light notes. It smells completely fresh and natural. There is no whiff of chemical smells. Even the bottle is pretty. I wear this every day for any reason. Very feminine.

I decided to buy it as an everyday fragrance for when at home given that it was highly rated. Not sure who's rating it so highly. I've had room fragrances that smell better than this. I question if it is a genuine item. The metal cap looks cheap. The spritzer does not work properly. Waste of money on all fronts.

Not long lasting and too little sillage

I love the scent of Lilies Of The Valley, and I was a little disappointed in this 'version' of that. The scent is not lasting and doesn't have much sillage. I would like to have a stronger, more lasting quality of fragrance, but I do like it.

Ive loved the scent of Lily of the Valley flowers since stumbling onto a small patch of them as a small child. Thinking Id do something special for myself for 2018 Mothers Day I ordered this toilet water. Very disappointing in that there is absolutely no similarity to the fragrance exuded from the real thing, the flowers. Best to go to a local store to test the fragrance. Wont make this mistake again.

Delivery took more than a monyh. I believe the items I bought are authentic, BUT very old stocks. There is not even a slihht scent in this one. As in nothing. And the 2 Yardley soaps i bought with thh 100ml bottle, no scent at all too. It kinda foams when used during bath but no scent or anything. Now I know why they are so cheap. I have bought about 15 bottles of diff brands, only 2 have scents power though still not lasting. This one is the worst of all. Its just like spraying water on me. This is an honest review.

After waiting for such a long time to receive the item, a month to be accurate, i am not really pleased. I have used this way back and this bottle i got doesnt smell like the ones I had before. scent is very weak, lasts for only few minutes, not even an hour. handling and packaging were superb. i love Yardley since I was in my teen, even if they say the scent is for older women. Now im near my 50, i bought one again, but sadly not as expected.

Lily of the valley is my favorite floral scent, so I thought I would try this Yardley perfume. I expected to like it, but it was even better than I thought it would be. The other scents in the perfume do not take anything away from the lily of the valley scent, but add to it in a perfectly complementary way. The perfume is not overpowering, yet it needs only a light touch. Also, it was quite long lasting. This just might be my new signature scent. Thank you, Yardley.

Lily of the Valley is my favorite flower, and I have many LOV perfumes. Yardleys version is one of my favorites, its very crisp and green. The LOV flower scent isnt as predominant here, you get a lot of leafy greeness, and the addition of geranium makes it very fresh. It reminds me of lily of the valley flowers that have not yet fully opened, and that are in the freshest stage of scent. Gardenia and jasmine are listed in the notes, but I can detect neither. This is quite long lasting for an edt, and sillage is moderate. Its one of those springtime in a bottle scents, perfect for daytime use.

Just recently found the FragranceX website and Lily of the Valley available on it. I immediately ordered some and waited patiently for its arrival. Unfortunately, Canada was having a threatened mailstrike and it took a little longer to receive my product. But thanks to FragranceX they shipped it by Canpar when realizing the post office wouldnt accept a p.o. box delivery, and I am very grateful for their extra work in getting it to me.
