I love Lindt dark chocolates. But this one is my favourite Lindt dark chocolate. You can taste that it’s high quality chocolate. It has really big squares, I wish they’re a little bit smaller. It’s bitter, but still has a nice amount of sweetness in it. If you never tried dark chocolate before, I think you should start with Lindt dark chocolates, they have a subtle sweetness in them, so maybe that’s a good start.

I have recently 'transitioned' to the 85% dark chocolate from the 70% one which was delicious but has become too sweet for my taste. I just love the hint of bitterness and it has a real 'pick me up' effect on me when I return from a vigorous dog walk each afternoon (as an oldie of 76). A super product and I am delighted that Lindt have recently brought the price down in our local Intermarche supermarket.

Good quality dark chocolate. Has a rich taste which I like. Due it having 85% cacoa it is low in sugar compared to other chocolate. As a person with Type 2 Diabetes I have foynd that I am able to eat this particular type of chocolate. Other that perhaps making Lindt 85% in other flavours other than plain dark chocolate. I would not change it any way. I would purchase this product again.

I love this chocolate bar and think that it’s the perfect level of dark chocolate. I think personally that it’s a lot better quality than or other brands and it has a rich delicious flavor. I constantly try to venture out and try new chocolates but end up coming back to this. It’s a nice creamy dark chocolate that doesn’t fail me - perfect balance of acidity to bitterness. I love to take a small bite together with a digestive type cookie. Sure - it’s not the fanciest, but it’s yummy.

Lindt makes a very good quality dark chocolate. It is flavourful but not overly bitter like most other companies. The texture of the chocolate is smooth, and the almonds are shaved paper thin, there are a lot of them though so there is a delicate crunch. I must confess that dark chocolate is not my favourite, so I’m not the best judge of this bar. Milk chocolate is my preference! I have tried the 70% dark chocolate bar by Lindt, and it is some of the best dark chocolate I have tried. The 70% bar has a slightly sweet after taste and it is smooth. I find the 85% dark chocolate very bitter and slightly gritty. You can definitely taste the cocoa and detect its texture. I do not enjoy the 85% dark chocolate, but I’m not the best judge.

It is truly a confection masterpiece. I expected it to be like 85% but darker or like 99% but sweeter. It isn't, it has a totally different flavor, rich in cocoa, lighter on the bitterness. I actually find it to be much smoothr than 85%.For those that don't like Dark Chocolate, please realize that like wine, coffee and dark beer it takes a little bit of time to acquire the palate to appreciate the complex flavor.
