Line 6 pedal does not appear to be new, has very weak performance

Have had multiple DL4s since they were first released, including modified versions for added features. Love this pedal and the new version is great. Smaller footprint and added reverbs make for a nice upgrade. New delays are cool, though nothing groundbreaking (at least out of the box, more experimenting with the Tweak and Tweez needed to see if I can make some really exciting delays).

Sounds great
I sold my old dl4 the moment the mk2 was out, only to find there was a 3 month waiting for delivery.Once it arrived it blew my mind, so much choices, bit too much maybe, software update went fibe, still days to explore it all. Very happy with this
I'm very impressed with this effect pedal. Tons of great reverb and delays to choose from. All effects can be custom tailored to your needs. Very solid when it comes to it's manufacturing. It's very quiet no noise or hiss. A truly great effects unit. I'm using it with my synths. I highly recommend it.
Easily one of the best sounds I got from any pedal ever. I didnt care to use much of the delay functions but I used the heck out of it as a reverb pedal thanks to its "secret reverbs" section.
I bought this pedal as an avid helix user for my analog board, but within the first week I started noticing a weird bug with the tap tempo. My issue was that it would randomly change the tempo when switching between presets, no matter what global settings or external gear was used with it, but if you read any of the Line6 forums you'll find there are WAY more issues that pop up. Line6 has so far released only one update to combat bugs and it was within like a month of release because they forgot to include subdivisions in preset saves?! Other than that there has been almost no upkeep for the pedal and Line6 is just letting the bugs run rampant. It's infuriating because Line6 isn't even acknowledging the bugs either. I've thought about selling it for something that works but 1. I couldn't consciously send of gear I know is jank, and 2. I'm still holding out hope that Line6 will do something about this soon. Extremly frustrating!!!
I'm a novice guitar player and an aspiring recording studio owner. This pedal delivers a wide variety of sounds at an affordable price.
I have been having fun with this pedal for about two weeks. The DL4 Mk II combines the delays on the original DL4 and doubles that number with new effects on the Mk II. This pedal also has hidden reverb settings that can be used with delay effects. Add to that a looper than can record two minutes of backing tracks. It's easy to select the different delays as there is no screen to deal with, just look at the knobs. Once a delay is selected, it can be modified with the Tweek and Tweez controls. This pedal requires playing with the controls to get the effects you want. I found the presets to be very useful. All in all, a versatile pedal that is a lot of fun.
