Appearance:goodQuality:not so goodI am sad that this yarn size is not consistent! I started using it at once when I received it and the yarn was thick at first then it thinned to size 3 for at least 2 yards then thick again. I wonder what will be the quality of my project! I haven't started with my 2nd ball..

Awesome colourway

Love the yarn and the colour changes. Ive used this range before and they all have varying thickness throughout the cake but i take that into consideration of that im making and it really only loses a star for me. Ive gone through at least 12 cakes from the ferris wheel range and been decently happy with them all. Will repurchase

The color options are vibrant. The color changes are not choppy, but smooth. The texture is so very soft. It's a dream to work with. Picking a colorway and what to make are the only thing difficult about this yarn.

Good for beginners like me!

Soft, gorgeous colors, easy for me as a beginner crocheter to use. Didn’t break, split, get weird after being frogged more times than I want to admit. Had one or two weird “frizzy” spots but were easily cleaned up. I’m using this now to make my first big thing - a light weight couch blanket.

Joann had this yarn for about 50 cents more. Since stores are temporarily closed, I wrote and asked if my military discount could be applied. Waited a week for a reply and then found that DB had the same yarn for 50 cents less than Joann. This ended up being near equal to my military discount. Another great thing about DB is that if they do not have a color in stock they don't CANCEL those products (so you lose the sale price and have to reorder). The simply let you know it's back ordered and ship when it becomes available. You can choose to cancel if you d on't want to wait. Joan contacted me 3-4 weeks later (after the back ordered colors had arrived) and told me that they would not accept my military discount as it is applied when purchasing in store. Inconsistent yarn thickness

Although this yarn is fine to work with, the inconsistent thickness of the yarn throughout each ball is not good. The yarn is supposed to be a 4 weight yarn (10 ply) but that isn't accurate as much of the yarn is 8 ply and even thinner. If this inconsistency was only in an odd ball or two, that would be okay...but it was throughout every ball I used, and I used 11 balls. Knowing this, I would still buy the yarn as I do like how the colours unfold...but I would be more discerning in what I would use it for.

Lovely product but with some reservations

I used the yarn to knit a pullover. The colors are great and they fade into one another beautifully. The yarn, however, does tend to split while one's knitting with it, and it also shreds some, so you do have to be careful working with it. It's worth the effort.

Nice soft yarn.

This yarn is quite soft and nice to knit with. However, I was quite surprised when I received the yarn as it was very dark in comparison to the photo. Eg. the blue shade showed as a light aqua and it is actually quite dark. The lilac was dark purple and the light golden yellow is more of a mustard colour. Could just be my iPad screen but may be worth consideration. I used size 7.00mm needles for a jumper.Overall I would recommend this yarn.

Nice yarn

This yarn was pretty good. it was really soft and I love how the colors fade into a nice gradient, unlike some some yarn, which there is just blocks of color. The only thing I didn’t like about it was once or twice the yard unraveled, or was weak and that the ends it’s really hard to thread a crochet needle, but overall great yarn for crocheting! The colors are gorgeous, and I would probably buy it again.

soft and nice colours

arrived quickly, reccommend seller! ferris wheel yarn imaginary garden is a thinner 4 weight, or a thick 3. it is a spun yarn rather than plied and it pretty soft with a nice colour gradient. 4mm knitting needles give a nice stitch definition. because it has a halo to it and i haven't washed it yet i cannot say how it will hold up but i'm hopeful. overall, lion brand yarns remain my favorite brand to use.
