Liquitex acrylic markers are products for both professional artists and beginner creation enthusiasts. Markers are resistant to light, thanks to which their colors are extremely durable. They appear in 50 well-pigmented colors. The component of the markers is water-based acrylic paint. They are adapted to work on many different surfaces. They work on canvas, ceramics, wood, as well as on glass and metal. They can be combined with acrylic paints, mascaras, varnishes and Liquitex aerosol paints. Acrylic marker should be started. Before painting, the paint tip should be soaked by pushing it gently against the substrate - waiting for it to soak. After this treatment, the marker is ready for use. They have a flat, bevelled, interchangeable tip that allows drawing lines with a thickness of 2 mm-4 mm. An additional advantage is the proven ball valve and pump system that allows you to dispense and mix colors in a surprisingly easy way.

I used it in drawing buildings. I needed something that would make the lines straight and at the same time be able to remove it right away if I made a mistake. The liquitex pens fit the bill. The colors were the same as the acrylic paints in tubes, which I liked. To activate the pens was simple. What I didn't like-I used a ruler to draw a line with the pen and the paint would stick to the ruler and gummy up the side of ruler which was used. The nib didn't always stay fresh and crisp , it would develop frayed pieces. Sometimes you may have to reactivate it for the paint to flow. Even so I would still definitely use again and and buy more colors

These Liquitex markers aren't easy to find from other sellers. They come in beautiful, soft colors and they make nice chunky lines. This brand is "juicier" than most Posca markers I've used, which is helpful when laying down backgrounds in my sketchbook.#sweepstakes

The design of the tip gives you 4-5 different line widths, so even though this tip is wide, you can get some finer lines by angling it different ways. Solid flow and really great light value color for mixed media work.

I like the control I have with these for details. I wish there was a slightly finer tip but for most things they are good enough. They incorprate well into other acrylic paints with no problems. Right now I have tried 30 colors and plan on adding the rest of the available colors. The only problem I have experienced so far is Burnt Umber seems to clog up the tip but not so bad I have had to replace the tip yet. May be my own fault, I don't know just learning to use them. So far I love them. Just to be honest here... I have no idea how they compare with other similar products because I have not used them. I know there are cheaper ones for sale but I generally enjoy the quality of Liquidtex products.
This was my first experience with acrylic pens. I was expecting them to dry up easily and they haven't so far.I completed my project and they looked great. The paint hardens quickly to a strong finish so have a wet towel handy for mistakes. They covered well over a black base.I'm happy with the results.
Great product. Great price. Fast shipping. Works more like an ink pen than paint pen. Love it!
Always happy with my purchases from Blick including replenishing This Liquitex Paint Marker, which I use all the time on my Mixed Medium pieces, High quality and price is great. LOVE these markers. Great Customer service and continuous sale items. Always go here first when I need art or art related supplies. 15 +++ stars from me - a repeat customer.
Really fun markers, a note about the greys: for some reason, neutral grey 8 is super light, right? and neutral 5 is really dark, but neutral 7 isn't quite in between, it's sorta closer to 8. Overall, 8 is a great light, neutral grey, and I wish that 7 were a better in-between grey, so that value studies could come out better. 8, 7, and 5 are the only ones available either from Blick or from the Liquitex website. Still, a good set of greys overall.
I belong to an online artists group where we make & trade art. These markers were recommended to me by an art friend. I'm so glad that I tried them. The color spreads beautifully & easily. I used them over stencils & it was a mess-less experience. I love when that happens. The colors are very opaque with great coverage for little effort. I purchased the Vibrant Color 15 mm set and will be purchasing another series soon. Great product!
Very disappointed in these pens. I use paint pens for painting murals on surfboards. Primarily I use Posca, but after reading some reviews I thought I would give a new brand a try. These appeared half way decent, but sadly that is not the case. For starters the paint takes a long long time to dry, when compared to other paint pens. These pens make blending colors very hard, as in they don't. Other pens I've used blend nicely and keep an even flow of paint so you get nice gradients. These pens wanted to pick up the color first laid down as you passed with the second. Making blending an exercise in patience as your painting turned into a muddy, streaky mess. Like some other previous comments noted the paint flow is terrible and splotchy. This may have been part of the ... MoreVery disappointed in these pens. Like some other previous comments noted the paint flow is terrible and splotchy. This may have been part of the reason these markers couldn't blend well. The paint quality itself was good. Everything else about these pens was not. Do yourself a favor and buy Posca pens or even Sharpies. I will not be using these ever again.
