And full flavored. Fruity and deep without the sweetness. Rolls around the palette. Nothing offensive. Great with beef or game.
This is a really smooth, luscious Shiraz that coats the mouth with sweet deliciousness. It tastes more like a new vine than an old world-style Shiraz. There's little chalkiness, earthiness or the woody flavour you often get from this grape. This is all grape. It has a really pleasant and subtle creaminess to the smell and mouthfeel. A superb Shiraz that tastes seriously good. In a blind taste I'd assume this was 2 or 3 times the price.

This medium bodied red is smooth but has a nice long after taste and sticks to your gums just a little bit.Enjoy it own it’s own or with a light meat such as lamb or even chicken.10/10
Little Giant are a fantastic winemaker, I've been really impressed with their excellent Shiraz and decent Chardonnay.This is quite different from their other red on Waitrose, the Shiraz. If you like leathery and peppery wines, you'll love it. For me, it's a little lacking in the fruit but still incredibly smooth and well made.Overall - lovely, but it's probably more for the wine experts than for a casual drinker like me.
I bought this wine due to the weird shaped bottle and the wombat label.. thought it was a laugh, turns out to be a really nice drop of wine. Went back next day and bought another 6 bottles for the rack. It’s not sharp, won’t pucker your mouth, smooth drop.
One of the nicest Grenache I had for a long time. This wine is made in an early drinking style, youthful and extremely animating. The wine has not seen any new oak and is superbly balanced. A perfect example of the new McLaren Vale Grenache style, where vibrant fruit is the main player.
