I teach the Construction Technology program at Iowa Lakes Community College. We were in need of a couple new ladders and one of our Advisory Board members recommended we take a look at the King Kombo ladders by Little Giant! We ended up purchasing one 6' and one 8' technical ladder. We are so happy with these things! The versatility of them is amazing. They are well built and sturdy with a 375 pound rating, which is great! They are easy to use, have plenty of very useful features, and have made work on the jobsite so much better. My students love these! We will most likely be adding more of these to our inventory.

I was looking for a ladder that would fit in the 5' bed of my pickup. Other options were smaller or lighter, but had too many shortcomings as a ladder. I used it yesterday to replace smoke detector batteries. The steps are wide and comfortable and placed well to work for both 8 and 9 foot ceilings. Very stable with a wide base, even when the user is older and over 200 lbs. The length and weight make for easy carrying on steps and around corners. Another plus is that it is made in the USA. Easily the best household ladder I've owned. I reduced the rating one star due to concern over the durability of the plastic one-hand lock release.

Hi have used my new Little Giant Combo 3 in 1 steps quite a few times since I bought them and I have to say I am really very impressed with them. They are exactly what I needed and very safe and very well designed with safety in mind. I liked them that much I bought a pair of Little Giant 3 step with a safety rail that folds down. I will be recommending them to my friends too.
The little ladder is capable of tallness. I have an attic entrance in a closet where manoeuvreability is tight. this ladder fit right in. I weigh 230 lbs and it felt sturdy beneathe, even the smaller side when fully extended. I like the built in stand off points as well. the whole thing is really nice and I'm glad I bought one.

I usually add a scratch or two within the first couple of uses anywho. The King Kombo 2.0 that showed up was more than the few scratches you might expect from a factory second. It had a couple of certified demo stickers and obvious wear and tear from taking that role. I think the bigger surprise is that the ladder does not sit flat on all 4. I've tried a few different flat cement surfaces to find it wobbling on all of them. What are the 'strict' standards met for these if this is what I ended up with? Based on reviews and Little Giant's refurbished promise, I assumed wear would be minimal and the ladder would function just as a new one with no safety issues. Not the case, and I wouldn't buy another refurbished item from them.
I had this ladder for 2 months, paid $500 Canadian for it. The metal locking mechanism bent from bringing the ladder down from extension to an a frame ladder. Brought it back to where I bought it; he reached out to his rep and they said I had used it as scaffolding and it wasn’t covered under warranty. Very disappointed
I was tired of lugging around multiple ladders to job sites and wanted a simpler solution. After doing some research I decided on the 8 ft fiberglass king kombo. This one ladder replaced the need to bring my 4 & 6 ft step & 16 ft extension ladders plus it's super light compared to my aluminum ladders yet has a higher weight safety rating. Switching ladder positions with the one handed switch was simpler then other ladder systems. Also a huge plus that it can rest securely against corners & studs with the flip out feature. After borrowing it today my friend wants one now for his own house.
The ladder works as described... But...UPS delivery was careless and unacceptable!UPS left my ladder on the side of my parked car where it was out of sight to me.They left it inches from the sidewalk, creating a hazard and making it easy for thieves to take. Walmart needs to hold them accountable for crappy delivery service!
This ladder is extremely strong and sturdy and definitely got the job done. I used it to hang curtains on our 10ft walls. My only complaint is that I had to use a small step stool to be able to reach the release that allows the ladder to open to the step ladder position. I’m 5’5”, so not super short. It was too much of a reach for me to get enough grip on the release without the additional step stool. Otherwise, a fantastic ladder!
