Little Giant Ladders 3-Step Foldable Step Stool, Silver

Probably the best ladder I will ever buy. Have only had this for a week, but have used it both inside & outdoors. If you are short, which I am, this helps you reach areas that you were not comfortable using a traditional ladder. The tall handle is part of this. The ladder steps are more like wide platforms & the rubber top added extra comfort. I used it to install outdoor cameras & used the tray at the top to hold my phone. Not so tall that I could not put things there before climbing up. The wheels also made it easy to move around to different areas with ease--otherwise it's about 20lbs & could be considered heavy. Light weight. Easy to open. Easier the bringing in a large ladder when you don’t have to get to high up. storage tray is handy. This is my third little giant. They are all great. I only gave it 4 stars because I feel it should lock when open. When you grab the step to move it it starts to close.

Every Home Needs This

I am very pleased that I purchased this step ladder. Now I do not mind climbing to get to the highest shelf. It is very sturdy and I feel very safe standing on it. My pictures show what I used previously when I needed to get to a high shelf and when you see them side by side, the Little Giant Safety 3-Step Ladder is the clear winner. I love the tall handle bar to steady myself with if need be. My old step stool's "safety bar" was too low to be considered safe. My new Little Giant is easy to move. Love this step ladder!

A couple of months ago I bought the 4-step version of this ladder and love it. I wanted the 3-step for smaller tasks, and it does not disappoint. I am a 5' 4" woman and the distance between these steps and the nice, sloped angle make it easy to go up and down. I love the wheels on the bottom so that I can handle it myself. You pretty much have to have both these ladders opened up in order to roll them, and I wish there were a way to easily roll them while they are folded up. But, I am able to handle them and I feel so much more secure using them as opposed to a regular step ladder. I would absolutely recommend these step ladders to others. I wish I had bought them years ago!

SAFE and AMAZING LITTLE GIANT LADDER!

This ladder truly is SAFE! I'm 72 years old with a really bad back. I ordered this ladder for when I have to change batteries in my Arlo outdoor Cameras and also climbing up high to unscrew the wooden ball on top of my patio umbrella and to assist me in taking the umbrella out of the patio table. I did both yesterday. I was amazed how secure I was climbing to the top step and how sturdy the safety bar is so one can lean against it! Before I would use a regular kitchen step ladder and couldn't climb high enough with nothing to lean against and with narrow steps. I am beyond grateful for this Little Giant Safety 3-Step Ladder!

Safer Climbing

This stepstool replaces a lighter weight stool from another company that I had been using for years—one that I recently caught a foot in a rung and fell and broke a foot and damaged an ankle. When the cast came off, and I was able to walk again, I wanted a ladder that I would feel safe using, and this one seemed to be constructed better — especially where there is enough room on the stair tread and no real areas to get a foot caught. I am 5'1", and I need to reach things up high, I need to paint, etc., and I don't want to be afraid to do anything that I was doing before the accident. I feel much safer on this new ladder (even on the foot and ankle that's still in the later stages of mending). It's sturdy, the steps are nice and wide (and feel like stairs) and have excellent traction, and my feet are not likely to get caught on anything. It's weighty (but not so much that you can't pick it up). I'm not super strong, and I can pick it up and move it around from room to room. And I like that it's easy to move from one spot to the other using the back wheels. This will be helpful when I start painting the fence. And it opens and folds easily for storing in a closet or back hallway. I like that it has a handle with areas to hold supplies too. And I love that you can use the rail/handle or fold the whole thing out of the way. And the stairs are wide enough, so if you want to sit on them to work on something nearer to ground level, you can do that too, and it's comfortable. I'm pleased with this purchase.

So easy to walk up and down the stairs. So easy to stand for longer times on the wider steps without feet hurting. So easy to fold up and carry. So easy to tip and pull to my next location with the wheels. So easy to keep a few needed items in the top tray. So easy to carry (not light, but not difficult). So glad I purchased!

Step ladder for Collection work.

Bought this ladder to use in our small institution's education collection. It is sturdy and steady and at a price I could afford. It also is easy to move and in tight spaces can store behind a cabinet. The other reason I bought it is because it would be helpful to use in other locations, and the mobility makes it work. When I heard of other staff eyeing it I had to write my departments name on the ladder so it wouldn't go missing. Maybe I should have bought two. Plus the customer service help was wonderful.

Wonderful Step Ladder

This step ladder should be in everyone's home. Since purchasing this ladder we found many uses for it. We are able to reach above our heads to retrieve items from the top shelf in the kitchen or use it to change a light bulb or the battery in the smoke detector. Doing all this in a very safe way. As senior citizens this is important knowing that falls are very common for seniors. With wide steps an a safety bar we always are safe and secure. One other great feature is storage. You don't need a large area to store it. It folds up about the same thickness as a standard ironing board.

[Rewarded Review] Very sturdy and stable

I had an ancient 2-step ladder that just wasn't cutting it anymore. Researched for a new one and this one had the best reviews. It's a little heavy, but not too much for me (50+yo, female). I haven't had issues opening or folding, though I watched the video provided on Lowes a couple times to get it right. I love how sturdy this ladder is. It does feel like you're walking down solid steps. And the reach is perfect. Wish I had this ladder a few months ago when I had to repair a hole in the ceiling. The little tray on the handle seems like it'll hold tools and hardware for small jobs, maybe even a smaller container of paint or spackle. Definitely feel much safer using this than the old 2-step. Well-worth the price.
