They came with their own little pretty accessories and a birth certificate so we could identify which breed each baby was and give them names: Lily, Sophia and Ella were a beautiful addition to the bunny pet family and provided extra entertainment for the girls as they are now nurturing 4 pets not just 1!The magical birth has been recreated for their friends on a few occasions now - and the best bit is after the first time, there is no waiting, the birth is instantaneous (as obviously Bella now knows what to do!)It is so much fun for pet lovers and would-be owners with lots of little interactive detailsThe hutch and babies are just the right size for little hands to nurture and carry around and they are so cute and adorable.Perfect if you have siblings as there are enough live pets to go round with just one set and they can take turns feeding, setting the bedding etcThe hutch shuts well so all the pets and accessories can be kept safely inside.The "magic" of the birth surprises and delights the children as well as finding out how many and which babies they will receiveThe birth certificate and little accessories to dress them are nice additions and add interest to their pets.Young children are not renowned for their patience, so an hour wait is a bit too long (although waiting is a realistic part of a birthing process )The accessory necklaces/headbands aren't very easy to fit on the babies and are very flimsy, so easily snapThe instructions are not clear (so please refer to the tips below!)Our hutch leaks water (no idea where from) so have ended up just pretending to top it up after the first birthThe mamma bunny is fluffy, but the babies are hard plastic - would be more realistic if they were all fluffy.TOP TIPS FOR A SMOOTH BIRTH:1. Make sure you remove ALL the pink screw pins from the hutch (including the one INSIDE the hutch), otherwise you will be in for a neverending birth experience2. Place the hutch on a waterproof mat before starting, only fill up the water bottle once, make sure it is inserted straight and do not move the hutch at all to limit leaking3. If you are waiting for more than 2 hours, you may be having a "difficult birth" so may need to intervene - open the lid of the hutch and check that the babies are not stuck obstructing the entry to the cage (if they are you may need to give them a little jiggle to release!)4. When resetting the birth process, make sure to remove the water bottle first and only put it in when you are ready for the babies to drop, as as soon as the water bottle is engaged, they will be born!

But they were excited to see what we got. They loved feeding the mum and setting up her hutch but we had a bit of trouble with the water. It just leaked out when we poured it in. We had to wait over an hour and half for the babies to come out and they got stuck so I quickly sorted it out before they saw them. They loved guessing how many babies there would be. I think that the idea is really nice but once the initial surprise has happened and the toy has been played with a little while the novelty does wear off a little.
