Four of us sampled these and we all agreed the star rating was right up there with the best so five stars for quality, taste and texture but when the price of $10. 00 a packet was mentioned they nearly choked! At only 69 calories per ball they'd be a nice little sweet treat without upsetting the calorie count too muchMade in the UK with no artificial flavours colours or preservatives. Surprisingly ok. I feared these when they became available to me as a free sample as I had seen so many unsure reviews. When I popped 3 little moons out onto a plate a lovely smell of passionfruit was welcoming. Out of all the flavours available I am glad I got the passionfruit and mango combination. My 2 grandkids and I each tried one, and we all enjoyed them. I took a bite of mine straight from the packet and then I finished it after waiting the 5 minutes as instructed on the packed. I had read some reviews were others had said to eat straight away. I tried another little moon on a different night with hubby. I enjoyed it just as much 2nd time around and hubby liked his two. The ice-cream flavour is very tasty and we both couldn't think of what the outside layer ... MoreSurprisingly ok. Yummy expensive. I'll straight up say these were so yummy, even tho I'm not a huge fan of mango and passionfruit flavours generally. I much preferred the hazelnut flavour as I'm a chocolate lover but these were full of flavour and more refreshing. Very suited to a hot summers day. the texture won't be for everyone as the rice dough outer layer is rather different. Never heard of these before I got the opportunity to try the hazelnut flavour first but was happy try. They ssay 69 calories per ball, so marketing is tapping into the health kick world (really if you had a spoon full of ice cream the same size it's likely the same calories and won't break the bank)I'd buy again only If the price was greatly reduced

Too expensive. The passionfruit and mango gelato was absolutely delicious. If it was sold in a tub I would absolutely buy it. Similar to the choc hazelnut sample I received, the icecream is delicious but I do not enjoy the dough at all. I must admit it wasn't as polarising as when I first tried the choc hazelnut mochi, as I knew what to expect with the dough. I did not defrost for 5 mins, instead eating straight from the freezer. The first bite was ok, however as the dough warmed up in my mouth and the dough became soft and chewy it quickly turned from enjoyable to wanting to spit it out. I swallowed the first bite, then ate the remainer of the gelato and put the rice dough casing in the bin. 2 stars because I only enjoy half of the product. I liked that there wasn’t an apparent powder on the rice dough like the chocolate. The dough didn’t have too much taste to it. They are small, similar to a golf ball size and 69 calories per ball (again it was a sample of 2 ). To the eye, the purple dough is a lavender colour, with the orange centre peeping through. My ones were rather icy. The centre was fantastic! It was quite strong in flavour, a fresh fruity burst. The centre reminds me of a sorbet and I liked the freshness it presented. It is sweet, but that suited me. The mango flavour was more prominent compared to the passion fruit. No weird aftertaste with these either. I did enjoy these, they were the pick of the set. Still a bit pricey for my liking but I’m more inclined to grab these again

I love the bright pink packaging of the passionfruit and mango variety which is so attractive amongst other treats in the ice cream freezer. Despite their size I have arrived home without these little balls thawing and deteriorating but unless you have refrigerated transport I doubt that they could retain their shape more than 30 minutes. These are such a classy looking dessert - totally different to anything else on the market. They are product of London, England so I guess the cost of frozen shipping contributes to the cost to the consumer. These are not a cheap treat. The mochi dough is pinky mauve in colour, encasing the most delicious yellow coloured passionfruit and mango gelato - denser than normal and more intense in flavour according to the pack Unfortunately that thick, chewy, gelatinous rice dough destroys the pleasure of that beautiful gelato for me.

These are little frozen desserts with a rice dough coating that is subtle in flavour and gummyI found it's texture to be rather interesting, similar to chewing gum with a powder texture. Not something that I particularly like neither my family, but the flavour was quite nice and subtle. The centre, absolutely delicious! Tastes just like a fresh tropical smoothie, the flavour is so rich and indulgent that you'd wish you were at a tropical resort. Such strong punch of Mango and Passionfruit, blended well and don't over do each other. I love them ! I absolutely loved these little round balls of passionfruit and mango. From the opening of the box i knew from the intense passionfruit aroma would be a pleasured experience, and i wasn't let down. When i bit into the ball there was an instant difference between these and the hazelnut ones, which i did not particularly enjoy. These have a lovely fruity flavour and the mochi coating matched them perfectly. They are light and fluffy on the inside and great tasting completely frozen or slightly thawed, as suggested. I didn't wait to thaw them as i knew instinctively that i'd enjoy them ... and i did !My son also enjoyed them, but not as much as i did because he isn't really a passionfruit person.
