Little Nightmares is a great title that you must play; since it not only gives us those enemies taken from a nightmare but also brings us mechanics in the gameplay that will make you feel that you are playing something unique. Although artificial intelligence has some flaws, they are not so serious as to ruin the gaming experience;Added to that is its soundtrack and excellent character design that further helps you get into Mono's nightmare. The title has a short duration since you can easily finish it in approximately 6 hours; however due to its collectibles it is quite replayable.

Little Nightmares is a 3d person horror puzzle sorting game for teenagers in my opinion but good for a slightly younger audience. Graphics are great and not too difficult to play. The soundtrack is perfect for this title. The story is about a little girl trapped in a dungeon (the Maw) trying to escape the monsters that inhabit it. Game length is quite good and not to long either. The more the story goes you learn about this girl and her power.Game is very captivating and keeps wanting for more.

The game itself is just alright. It has an interesting art design, plays similar to a Limbo-esque game, and is actually pretty tense and creepy at times. The problem with it is length, movement/controls, and actual content. Your first cold playthrough will be about two hours. It encourages you to play it multiple times. One achievement is completing it in under 1 hour without dying, for example, but I had no desire to go back. The controls are weird. You have to hold down a trigger to grab things, jumping is A, and running is B, so at times you're running, jumping while running, grabbing things, etc and it becomes a bit of a cluster cuss for your fingers. I will say, by the end of the game I had gotten pretty good at it but it never felt as precise or fair as it ... MoreThe game itself is just alright. I will say, by the end of the game I had gotten pretty good at it but it never felt as precise or fair as it could have. Finally, this game has very few things to do except for "run away from this monster." good, you beat that one. now "run away from this monster." While it is a nice change of pace to have a more action heavy sidescroller, and there is one scene in particular that involves the chef's that was particularly nerve-wracking, it just feels kind of bland when all is said and done. You have about an hour and a half of running and hiding. I can't remember a single puzzle or specific encounter. And, pro tip --- If you see a place to hide, be ready to sprint back there in a few moments. The gameplay itself becomes pretty predictable. That said, for the money, this physical copy is pretty rad. For only a few bucks more than the digital game you get a poster, soundtrack, sticker pack, and a pretty nice figurine. It's honestly nicer than the special edition Assassin's Creed figure from way back in 2008.If you wanted to try this game, physical with all of these extras is the way to go.I really laid out some critiques but if you like this genre of game, this really is worth the playthrough. The cons seem more important because the game itself was so close to being a classic like Limbo but it just didn't get there for me. I will be interested to see what the future DLC has in store.
Looking for Limbo with more horror elements? Then Little Nightmares is the indie horror game for you. Beautiful graphics, gripping story and tense situations scattered throughout a dark story lead a very unique nightmare where you're at the centre of it.
Little Nightmares is a fun, creepy and compelling game. It can be completed in about four to six hours, so its perfect for a night with friends or by yourself. It is however a one player game but, the graphics and story will be enough to entertain a small group of friends while passing the controller around or just watching someone play or of course, you play while your friends watch. I highly recommend this game
Little Nightmares offers you super tight controls and very compelling and inspired locations. Theres a lot of shots that feel straight out of the concept art - clearly, a dedicate team of artists came together to bring the characters and locations to life.I was surprised by how the game dropped you right into the fray - no tutorial section, no dialogue. The game communicates everything through its design. I found myself thinking the game 'clever' in several moments. The game is short - about 3-5 hours depending on how much time you spend snooping into every nook and cranny. Its worth replaying for the collectibles and a 'speedrun' achievement.I fell in love with this game for its very responsive controls and intriguing world, and some genuinely tense ... MoreLittle Nightmares offers you super tight controls and very compelling and inspired locations. The box itself has a small figurine of the main character - Six - as well as stickers, a poster, and the soundtrack.Speaking of - this is definitely a game you'll want to dig out decent headphones for. The sound design is incredible and the music cues really lend to the experience.I very much grew to love this little game, for its eerie atmosphere and excellent sound design.
I happen to stumble upon this game through Facebook gaming and watching someone else play. I found it intriguing and decided to purchase both Little Nightmares. My family has really enjoyed the storyline. The graphics are amazing, the controls are fairly easy to figure out and the characters lives are indefinite which makes it even more fun to play. In my opinion it's definitely worth purchasing if you like this type of game.
