A great little car which my granddaughter absolutely loves BUT it wasn't altogether than easy to assemble and the "ignition key" part was much too big to fit into the aperture in the "dash". Fortunately I have a lathe and was able to turn down the outside diameter of the "ignition key" boss so that it fitted. I wonder how anybody else manages to fit that as the instructions say that you should hammer it in using the tool provided. The boss was far too big to be able to hammer it in to place and I wouldn't be surprised if anybody who tried this ended up splitting the front "dashboard" of the car.

It is important to check all plastic moulded parts before assembly.I did and regret accepting the moulding was only 2mm out on the main body.Thought it wouldn’t matter but once all assembled one front wheel was loose and the other too tight due to the alignment.Once assembled you cannot adjust the wheels .Would rather give it 2 stars as trying to get my experience across.CHECK THAT THE MOULDINGS ARE PERFECT BEFORE ASSEMBLY OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED WITH YOU LENGHTY EFFORTS.

Great once it’s built but building it was not straightforward. One of the wheels didn’t have the required hole to be able to put the axel through so we had to drill one. Also had to drill to widen the hole for the ignition. Not great for building it on Xmas eve. Once it’s finished it’s brilliant and both my 1 and 3 year old love it.

Delighted with the purchase. We have a very happy 15month old and 3.5yr old who love this toy. Just deducting a star because it's a bit awkward to put in and out the base which for a 15 month old needs to be very secure. I am not sure how secure the base is only used it a few times so far. As others said it is extremely time consuming and awkward to make and all stickers must be stuck on. I found doing the stickers grand just line them up and take your time. I am delighted with it and the girls LOVE it. I would definitely buy it again.
I love the cozy coupe and have bought many of them. Ive bought may over the years from the original cozy coupe, 2 fire trucks, and at least 2 pick up trucks. Can anyone tell me if the Fairy Cozy Coupe has the floor bottom? Im looking at it for granddaughters first birthday. Shes tiny for her age will definitely need the floor. If not thats a feature Little Tykes should have on all of them.
I bought this for a first birthday present, and it was a big success. It seems sturdy and will hopefully last a few years. The only thing I would flag up is that a drill is need for assembly - I didn't realise that when I ordered it, but luckily there was one to hand.

Little car is sturdy and will last years. But the assembling is very difficult and a bit confusing the outside of the box says you only need a screwdriver but inside instructions say a hammer and an electric drill and a piece of wood. The holes of the screws are not pre drilled to help. You trying to drill in a smooth plastic surface. Some of the piece to be hammered in a bigger then the holes are. We couldn’t use the electric drill it kept slipping so used the screwdriver and brute force. This is not a night before assembling toy needs a few days to work on
It is a great product once built and all the finicky little stickers stuck on. I was really disappointed that it was missing parts (4 x top hats) and I couldn’t get it set up on time for a birthday. However, the Smyths team were amazing at dealing with the issue and got the parts to me ASAP. They were all lovely to deal with also. So extremely happy with Smyths and not as happy with Little Tikes company.
I bought this for Christmas for my little girl and set it up early as I had read some of the parts were missing on other peoples. It is just made awful. Plastic bends. You have to make your own holes for screws. Ours had a chip in in too which has a sharp edge (will have to file it down). It’s like they have made it difficult on purpose to set up. Even the stickers are a nightmare to add on. If it touches the plastic car a little bit when your lining it up it won’t come off so you only get 1 chance to get it right. Then you have to put the silver stickers on top of the bottom stickers. Don’t understand why it doesn’t come already attached. Luckily I doubt my daughter will notice the imperfections but annoying for the parents trying to make it as nice as possible.
