This play fridge looked like exactly what I wanted for my 2 year old granddaughter. I wanted just the fridge, a tabletop size, and not an entire, elaborate kitchen. As I began to assemble it, I kept checking the instructions, because I couldn’t believe how the finished product looked and functioned, and I actually thought I had done something wrong, or there were pieces missing. In order to make the fridge fit in a more compact package (I’m guessing that’s the reason), the pieces come nested and need to be pulled open and then secured together. The problem is they fit loosely and the fridge looks and feels like it’s only partially assembles. The inside has large gaps and the floor inside is uneven. I didn’t bother to open the pack of toy food (which looks nice enough, by the way) but I can just picture my granddaughter becoming frustrated when the milk bottle won’t stand up. The freezer is a joke. The drawer just sits in its cavity and is hard to pull out, and even harder to push back in as there is no track or glides to guide it in and out. (See my video) One of the most disappointing things is the way Little Tikes must have deliberately arranged for ugly parts to be hidden by product placement and the angles of the camera shots. Therefore I have included these photos so you can see the things that the manufacturer has strategical hidden. I have always like Little Tikes products. In fact, my granddaughter rides around in the same Cosy Coupe that my kids used in the early 1980’s and it’s still in excellent condition. I wonder if their other products have gone downhill as well. Sad. Taking this back to Target tomorrow. Edit: Target doesn’t accept videos in its reviews, so I can’t demonstrate how poorly the freezer drawer functions.

Fridge was easy to assemble. But it's cheaply made. Bottom drawer easily falls out. The shelves are flimsy. Very glad there's an on/off switch for the annoying sounds the fridge makes. Definitely not worth the money. Guess i expected better quality from a Little Tikes item. The ice dispenser and items that came with the fridge are cute.

this is waaaay “cheaper” than it looks packaged. for a $60 (when I purchased it from target at least. it’s been $50 and under SINCE naturally) when it DOES get together, it’s all warped and has gaps all around it. mine only came with TWO ice cubes. not 4 like the package states there will be… Nor did I get any instructions…Had to figure this out on my own. id SAY i put it together wrong lol but according to the hundreds of reviews and pictures i’ve now looked at? I did not! annnnd it’s still warped and fits together horribly i’m not sure if mine so happened to come incomplete from manufacturing? or if it was bought and returned. although it does not look re-taped up anywhere so, my guess is it was just manufactured incorrectly. Regardless, i’m just all around ... Morethis is waaaay “cheaper” than it looks packaged. for a $60 (when I purchased it from target at least. it’s been $50 and under SINCE naturally) when it DOES get together, it’s all warped and has gaps all around it. mine only came with TWO ice cubes. not 4 like the package states there will be… Nor did I get any instructions…Had to figure this out on my own. id SAY i put it together wrong lol but according to the hundreds of reviews and pictures i’ve now looked at? I can’t return/refund it now so, i’m stuck with the cheaply made fridge for now.

This refrigerator was well worth the money! My daughter loves it. She has the stove and sink to match. She can literally play with it all day long! The sounds are realistic and the ice maker works. It was super easy to put together. Now, it does topple over from time to time when my daughter takes the bottom drawer completely out, but I think that’s because she loads the top part up with toys.
I am so disappointed! Total junk. The fridge is split into front and back for assembly. When you put them together, they fit, but not well. Light shines through the cracks because the pieces don’t fit together. I’m not talking mm gaps…like quarter inch gaps. Everything about this feels cheap! The inside of the fridge is completely unfinished (you can see the plastic seams and screw holes). And, the freezer drawer doesn’t slide out with guides. It just pulls out all Willy nilly because there are no tracks. Cheap toy without the cheap price tag. Won’t be buying Little Tikes again!
My granddaughter loves the kitchen and wanted her own kitchen set. I researched this refrigerator and found this one to be most durable and age appropriate. She loves putting items into the refrigerator and freezer, but the only issue I have is the shelf for the refrigerator was missing from the box. I had put the item together using the instructions on YouTube and after it being about 80% completed, I realized the shelf was missing. I plan to return it, but it will be returned all put together because I am not taking it apart.
Honestly this toy looks great in the packaging and disappointing once assembled. It only has 1 shelf and could really use at least a bottom for the fridge and freezer drawer. the back of the toy is split from the front and has to be assembled. Which would normally be no big deal but the peices fit together poorly. there are gaps on the inside of the fridge once assembled and little fingers could get trapped between the peices. For $50 I expected it to at least fit together nicely. It is not nice to look at from the side either, and there is nothing to stop the freezer drawer from being pulled out all the way.
My one year old granddaughter loves this refrigerator. Previously, she was always trying to get in the real refrigerator. Now she spends lots of time with her own refrigerator, getting ice in the cup and opening and closing the doors. She especially likes the milk and ketchup and pushes the buttons on top if the sound isn’t on. It’s just the right height for her.
I bought this and was going to give it my 19mo oldfor Christmas. I got too excited and gave it to him the day I bought it! He loves it. The ice maker is so adorable and it sounds like real ice clinking in the cup. It even makes a noise if you leave the doors open too long like a real fridge. The oven was on sale at the same time so we will save that for Christmas.
Received what I’m guessing is a used and returned product which has happened multiple times this month while ordering online from target. More than half the items needed for assembly were completely missing, none of the accessories, inside shelves, play food, screws or assembly materials were inside the box or fridge. We tried to assemble on Christmas Eve and discovered everything was missing. Extremely disappointed that I can’t have this set up for my child for Christmas now. This has happened multiple times, I’m not sure who’s managing targets quality control and shipping but this is absolutely terrible business.
