The idea of this stroller was good, but in reality, it is not a practical product. The handle moves around a lot, and it is difficult to push and steer due to its design. I often had to push the handle down toward the ground as if the stroller was popping a wheelie to turn and steer it by the back wheels. If you like the thought of the stroller transitioning to a trike for your child, my grandson is now three and still can't reach the pedals to ride it independently.

Worst Little Tykes product I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen plenty having relatives near where it’s made. Several major pieces (back bucket, seat, etc.) have large white “spots” where it looks like a defect or stress point in the plastic. The entire thing is rickety and doesn’t steer well despite several improvements made by made engineering husband that improved it a bit. I would have returned it but my grandson loves it. I debated between this and the Radio Flyer one which someone else bought him. It’s much nicer and sturdier, but lacks the convenience trays for pusher and rider. Two stars for those.

My Granddaughter loves this! We love it! It’s a great product and I wish these were available for mentally handicapped adults! I thought some of the reviews were completely unfair-as some people are mechanically challenged (even Walmart will put an item together if you ask/pay for assembly) My husband took it apart and back together in under an hour. I just don’t think most of the reviews are fair. This trike is awesome! I love it!

Bought this for my son and loved it except for how hard it was too push. Was going to return it but hubby put vegetable oil on the inner part of the wheels to see if it made a difference and it's so smooth and easy to push now! Definately recommend having one for your young one. Just don't forget to oil up the tyres,! It was like walking up a hill before but now it just glides. So happy! It's also handy as it has a snack/drink compartment for bubs and also a drink/phone and snacks compartment for the parents too! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

This was the hardest thing to put together and I don’t usually have an issue putting things together. My husband had to pull a piece apart that didn’t even come apart just to put the steering pole in. It took us two days to finish assembly because we were so frustrated the first day. It looked okay after we finished assembly but the seat was lopsided and loose to the point my son was falling out a leg hole. Also, the seat and backing are just hard plastic. Not even a little padded. The canopy looked crooked too. The steering isn’t easy and the tray is a HORRIBLE design. Even though it took us so long to put together, I will gladly take it apart to return and get my money back. It wasn’t super expensive but money is money.
If I had the option to give zero stars, I sure would. I have three children and have bought three bikes like this, typically the radio flyer brand. For my last child, I thought I would try the Little Tikes brand. Do not waste your money!!!!! It’s already falling apart. The handle bar is ripped right from the get go and it came missing screws. But that’s not even the worst of it, my baby nearly falls over and tips the bike if he leans. I have to use all my might to control the bike when I push him. This is not a safe or stable product. What a huge waste of my money.
This was the HARDEST thing to put together. It was my husband job to put it together for Christmas, mind you he doesn’t ever have trouble putting anything together and doesn’t even need instructions half the time, but with this he had to read the instructions over and over, take it apart and put it back together, pieces got stuck, I’m pretty sure there was a screw or two missing, had to use power tools, and I’ve NEVER heard him complain so much in my life. Took him hours. As far as functionality, that will be tested Christmas morning. Hopefully after all that work, it’s worth it. But if you are looking for an easy put together, skip it!
This is a standard Little Tikes product. Sturdy, well built, and should last a long time. It is very strong, easy to maneuver and my kids love riding in and on it. It's hard to get them to stop and move on to other activities so must be comfy. The ability to adjust is a little more involved that I originally anticipated but not hard to do. It involved using several little screws that have wings so they are adjustable by hand without tools. I had hoped it would be quick and easy to go between an infant and a toddler but sadly is not. I wished it had a feature to fold up for easier transport as well.
We bought this for our granddaughter and she loves it but at 3.5 years she still cannot pedal it on her own. She is average size for her age. We have tried multiple seat locations to no avail. The engineering of the tricycle did not incorporate the shape of the standard tricycle seat which allows the legs to extend downward better. Come on engineering. Changing the seat shape would allow younger and smaller children to pedal before they reach the age of 4.
An alternative to the stroller now that the warmer weather is here. My granddaughter likes to see her surroundings and gets a better view while sitting upright on this little trike. The pedals can be disengaged to avoid hitting her feet and with her hands on the handlebars she feels that she has some control of the direction of travel. Her parents of course direct the movement of the tricycle via the control arm. The retractable sun shade provides shelter from the direct sun, and with her drink and her snack she is ready to travel!! I like that it can be modified as she grows and is able to ride on her own.
