So we got this little tykes police car and not being the best person at assembling things I was dreading building the car for our little one. Digging through the box found the instructions and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to build. I know it's mainly hollow plastic but it is very sturdy. This is the first time we've had one of these types of cars for the children and its fabulous. Easy assembly, hard wearing and brings hours of fun and joy wrther inside or in your back yard or garden it's a great little thing. I'm convinced this will last until our little one is old enough to use it so when my son outgrows it I'll either disassemble or just store it ready for our next one who would make use of it.

We had a similar one that she absolutely loved but never had a police one before. She always says she wants to become a police women so having this is great. Great for getting young children to play and get them to understand how to go about when things are around them and they need to steer so they don’t bunp into things. Would recommend.

Purchased for 14 month grandson - 3.5 yo grand-daughter can also use it. Both children love it. I saw a few reviews, not just on Target but other sites saying although children love it - it can be difficult to put together. I asked a family friend who is good with a screwdriver for help and he said it was no problem! I think you just might need to be ok with a few tools. It also has a handle on the top so adult can push it. I recommend this car - excellent purchase.

My little boy is in love with the crazy coupe police car. Super strong and sturdy,it provides hours of fun to my 4 year old. It’s bold and attractive and is very easy to assemble. Perfect for role playing,it is excellent from learning point of view. Very spacious and absolute fun for little car fans. I won’t change a thing!
Nice toy that I am sure little ones will enjoy however it took me 3 hours to assemble! You need a fully charged electric screwdriver or drill, a hammer, and the patience of a saint. Then to finish you get to stick on 2 pages of transfers. As the previous reviewer said the screws are ridiculously difficult to screw in and are poor positioned so access with electric screwdriver is very difficult. Ridiculously difficult for a kids toy.
Really disappointed with the quality of this car. My son loves police cars so was really excited to get this. The instructions are unclear and different to the assembly video. The screws take super strength to get in and the ignition key does not fit! The only plus point really for us is the night decals make it very realistic. What a shame little tikes.
It took a while to build but well worth it in the end, My daughter loves police cars and so was really excited to get this to play with, Every kid should have one of these, my daughter doesn't even want to come out of to eat her breakfast! Really solid toy (once built) and will last for years, well worth the hassle it took to build it with the smiles and giggles you get from your child
Bought this for our daughters 01st birthday and she loves it. It's great that there is a handle to make is easier to push her around. Also like the fact that this is a toy that will grow with her.Fairly easy to put together and very satisfying to place the stickers.
So this little tykes coupe has been around for years, I firstly bought the original red and yellow one for my son who loved it, so it was a no brainier to get the police one as I knew he would love it. I won’t lie, the assembly of this car can be quite difficult, it does take a lot of effort so be prepared! Once built it’s so durable and not at all flimsy. It’s a lovely little addition to his car collection and this one made him feel like he was a little police officer which was really cute. I can honestly say these cars will last years and will rarely break or fall apart. There’s a reason why little tykes has a reputation for good quality products.
Great little police style car for my toddler who is 18 months old and loves those cars at his daycare. Great for the backyard or even around the house (bit difficult on carpet) on rainy days. Assembly was ready enough for me but attaching back pillars to car body was a hassle since overall chassis of car has gotten smaller compared to older models and there's not enough space to get (electric) screwdriver in. Otherwise a great product that I highly recommend if your child is into cars and moving about.
