I was able to assemble this in 10 minutes using a standard Phillips head screwdriver, and pliers. Following the instructions, everything snapped or screwed together without issues. You have to use a fair amount of force with a rocking motion to get the parts to align. The drain plug must be installed and seated with pliers, it cannot be installed by hand. If you are not handy, you will struggle to assemble this. The design of the toy does not seal the tower section. If you pour water down the tower as shown in all the smiling photos, it will seep through holes beneath the base, flooding the floor beneath. Returning due to defective design.

Nice table for a budget! I wasn’t sure if my girl would like it, so I went cheap. Turns out my 18 mo loves this thing so much that she stares at it longingly through the window when she’s inside. She enjoys all features. The plug drains the water decently. The thing is, the other reviews are right that the tower doesn’t stay on… like ever. It’s annoying and could be much better. It’s okay bc I got this thing for $20 but I’m looking to upgrade and take this one to grandmas.

The instructions say it will take 30 min to put together. It took me 1 hour to get to the 4th step. The legs were difficult to put on, I had to manipulate the plastic and almost pinch my fingers in the process of sliding them in. I wish the plug came already installed, but you have to do that yourself and putting the tower together is impossible. The plastic pieces did NOT come together. It left a small crease down the middle which would allow water to go through constantly. Returning.

There were a few pieces that could have come pre-assembled, which would have not only made it easier & faster to assemble, but also keep the integrity of some of the pieces in tact. Step one is to insert the drain plug, which the instructions say pliers are “recommended” but they actually are absolutely necessary to get the plug in place. It is also cheap plastic so it was torn up by trying to insert with pliers— this is one of the pieces that should’ve came pre-assembled. The whole thing is cheap plastic that does fit together correctly. Some of the pieces that are supposed to “snap” together, do not, and are left loose & can easily be pulled apart. Ok I was hesitant to buy this based on reviews. But I was able to get it on a great sale so I took a chance. I’m glad I did. For the price you can’t beat this. My daughter played with it for hours the first few days we got it - I know we’ll get much use out of it this spring summer. She loves it! Yes it’s probably not the best water table there’s some 3x the money - but the kids will love it. The little tikes brand never disappoints me. Putting it together was super easy I honestly don’t know what the other reviews are talking my about - lol I was able put it together with “help” from my 20 month old and while watching a show it took 20/30 minutes just make sure you have the tools. If you’re thinking about this get it!
It leaks! This stopper is the worst ever. They should have made it non removable because this is just terrible. I could see if maybe a couple of drips here and there but whole streams? No. Not for this price. Very disappointed. Like the other reviewers I also had trouble connecting some parts. I would value this at around $10. It’s cheap honestly speaking. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this at all unless Little Tikes addresses this issue and redesign this thing.
Perfect for outdoor play! It is definitely on the cheaper side, but still a sturdy and stable piece. I could see it being tricky to put together, but honestly I didn’t have any issues. Just make sure you have a pair of pliers and a screwdriver and a little bit of elbow grease. Definitely an item you will get your moneys worth out of, and won’t be sad if anything happens to it over the course of you using it. My daughter loves it!
I usually love little tikes for my 2 year old son. I have the slide, baseball set, basketball set and so forth. This toy is horrible....the ball launcher can shoot a ball clear across the yard...who is going to keep chasing and looking for balls in and out of water. The ferris wheel is cheesy and barely picks up the balls. The so called whirlpool falls off the axis. The tunnel that is used for the spinning wheels is too big there is no whirling effect. I am soooooo disappointed might make a better sand table then a water table. Wish I could get my money back and get paid for wasting my time carrying it out the store. Little tikes has got to do better.
No instructions came but it was fine looking at the picture other than the tower doesn’t fit great together. Like many others mine did come with screws so I have to call. It’ll help the tower I think and also from the handle on the wheel from constantly falling off. My daughter likes it though so that’s all that matters. Would’ve given 5 stars if screw came with and a little less expensive for what we got. It seems sturdy for 2 year old but would’ve thought it would be thicker plastic for the price. Also the plug is extremely difficult to get in properly so let’s hope it doesn’t leak
The tower would not screw together and absolutely would not fit in the center of the table. We drove ourselves crazy trying to make something that should be so simple to put together work. There’s also a little spinny thing that connects to the side (maybe to just make the water move a bit??), but it doesn’t click in at all. So my less than 2 year olds just pull it off - pointless. We got this half off, and I’d say we’ve gotten our $20 worth because my kids still play with it without the tower, but definitely would not recommend.
