Little Big Planet seemed to have always been a perfect fit for a handheld, particularly one as robust as the Vita. Vita controls it flawlessly with the additions of a touch screen, both on the front and back, and two analogue sticks which is perfect for a platform like this. Very clever controls and they're a joy to use. The game itself is brilliant. There are lots of collectibles which adds to the re-playability, most of which needs to be collected with 2 and 4 players. Online, the community is not great at the moment, but as more players get used to creating awesome levels, creators from previous games will eventually come over too. Overall, the game is well worth your money. It's perfectly suited to the handheld, and it feels amazing to have Little Big Planet in ... Madagascar doesn't achieve the snappy perfection of a Pixar movie, but it tops most other computer-animated efforts; the collision of friendship and predator instincts makes for an unusually gripping conflict. The vocal performances of the central characters is serviceable, but Sacha Baron Cohen (Da Ali G Show) provides topnotch lunacy as the lemur king, and the penguins--voiced mostly by the animators themselves--are the best thing in the movie!!

A sequel that truly surpasses the original in humor, wit and zaniness. There's also a bit of randomness in this particular installation that makes me laugh hysterically. This reveals Alex's childhood which I found to be really intrieguing. The animation is even better than the original and the characters are more fleshed-out in this version. Sasha Baron Cohen steals the show as King Julien though. This has a little something for everyone. If you've seen the first, you definitely want to see Escape 2 Africa, because it is simply better and more hysterical. The madcap randomness and the morals abound. There may be a bit more innuendo this time around but it's pretty tame. The interspecies love was interesting in and of itself. Some parents might object to that sort of ... The Little Big Planet games are usually very fun to play, and this Vita specific version certainly does not disappoint. The main story line can be completed within a couple of hours, but it's the side quests and community levels that are the most enjoyable. You can choose to play from hundreds of levels created by other players or learn the tools to create and publish your own levels. During the main story line, you will need to use the front touch screen and the rear touch pad to interact with the environment. Some of the side quests require you to turn the Vita sideways in order to have a long screen. These really show off the versatility of the Vita in playing different games such as whack-a-mole, building a tower of Tetris blocks, and driving. The one drawback I have noticed is in the use of the rear touch pad. It does not allow multi-touch, so if you are trying to touch something with one hand, you better make sure the other hand is off of the pad. This can make it somewhat difficult to hold onto the Vita and touch the pad at the same time. Also, the front touch screen can be frustrating at times when it doesn't register your touch, though this doesn't happen very often.Overall, this game is great fun to play. Meeting new people online to challenge or help out in completing a level is enjoyable. And it is amazing to see how creative people can be with the levels they create. The graphics are every bit as good as you would expect on a PS3. The sound effects and music are very good as well.
In short this was a great game and I enjoyed it alot more then i would have been led by critics reviews to believe. This is less of a review and more of somethings i wanted to say about the game to anyone considering buying it. The game was well over 40 hours and i enjoyed every minute of it. I strongly suggest changing the controls under the option menu from the defualt setting of digital,to analog mode. Under digital mode you just press one button to swing your weapon, in analog mode you use the left thumb stick to control the position of your weapon and its swing: might be more difficult at first but makes the game a whole lot more enjoyable in the end. Also the zombies level up as you do, so no matter where you go on any of the giant maps, it will never become ... When the game is finished you can start again with all your stats and zombies strong enough to stay a challange. Multiplayer was a really nice touch but personally i didnt find myself using it much. Just a few of my thoughts on this game after finishing it.
LittleBigPlanet has received wide critical acclaim from reviewers. The first major publication to review LittleBigPlanet was the UK edition of PlayStation Official Magazine. In their November edition they gave the game a score of 10/10 calling it "a beautifully elegant and powerful creative tool that puts unlimited potential in the palm of your hand".[113] Eurogamer scored the game 9/10. Reviewer Oli Welsh commented specifically on the game's "unforgettable visuals" and that the accurate lighting was "as total a realisation of high-definition as you'll see anywhere in games this year". He similarly praised the multiplayer gameplay as "a loosely-structured scrum of competition, collaboration and sheer, joyful mucking around". Speaking of the game's comprehensive ... He similarly praised the multiplayer gameplay as "a loosely-structured scrum of competition, collaboration and sheer, joyful mucking around". Speaking of the game's comprehensive creation and community tools in contrast with its classic platforming gameplay, he calls the game "the future and the past of videogames, rolled into one".[107] IGN (U.S.) scored it 9.5/10 and said the game was an "instant classic". The reviewer, Chris Roper, also suggested that the game may even be a reason to buy a PlayStation 3; "If you own a PlayStation 3, you cannot miss this. If you dont have a PS3 yet, this is the reason to get one."[13] GamePro scored the game 5/5 and said that the real strength of the game "is the tremendous sense of freedom and creativity that it instils in you."[110] Edge gave it a 10/10 and said "It's a multiplayer riot, a visual landmark, a feat of engineering, and one of the most charming games ever made. But even those accolades are dwarfed by its scope, its potential, and the apparent endlessness of them both."[106] Ben "Yahtzee" Crowshaw said "[The Sackboy character] looks like the result of a sinister military experiment to concentrate cuteness to a weaponized level..." in one of his Zero Punctuation reviews for the Escapist online magazine
Little Big Planet has become a staple of the PlayStation lineup. I'm a huge fan of the franchise games on the PS3, and Vita version has certainly delivered an equally satisfying experience. The touch-screen controls actually make the Vita version more enjoyable than it's console counterparts in my opinion. The online community is part of what makes this game an endless source of fun. Downloading player created levels always gives you new challenges all the time.I only wish Sony would make a cross-buy version of the game to increase it's value. But nonetheless, this may be the best $20 you spend on a Vita game.
You cant change Little Big Planets direction as a platform game with one-hit kills, but its only a matter of time before somebody makes a great photo booth lounge or full-field sport. The Media Molecule crew must be terrified. My biggest warning is that Little Big Planet demands an Internet connection. You need four players to collect all the Story Mode prizes, and there just arent enough in-game levels. Costumes are meant to show off, and custom levels are meant to share with an audience. This also means that parents should think about whether Little Big Planet is appropriate for their children. This also means that parents should think about whether Little Big Planet is appropriate for their children. Its a great toy set, its got great creative potential, and its very kid-friendly, but like most any online service, its possible that you could hear swearing over voice chat and view penis-monster levels. At least a few community features let you flag offensive players for possible consequences. My other warning is that the first few weeks of LBP may be rough. The closed beta period was fun, but four-person online games suffered from huge lag spikes. Most online games these days are flooded at first and then they stabilize, even World of Warcraft crashed on opening day. These problems usually level out soon after launch, but if the lag persists, though, it will be a serious blow to LBPs multiplayer and online components. Little Big Planet is just what Doctor Sony ordered: universally appealing gameplay with an appealing everyman hero that is connected to streaming delivery of new content. Sony should be lauded for such a gamble, and Media Molecule should be praised. This is a rare toy that has the capacity to inspire the inventor, the explorer, and the gamer.
I have played this game before on my friend's system. I decided to buy a PS3 and knew I had to get Little Big Planet. This game is based around addicting platform style gaming as well as a fun and always changing story line. You will go from playing a level that takes a lot of patience and strategy to an absolutely fun a fast-paced level so as to give the player relief from constant stressful levels. The music is awesome and fitting for continuous platforming. Everything about the campaign levels pulls the player in a keeps the player always interested. The music is awesome and fitting for continuous platforming. Everything about the campaign levels pulls the player in a keeps the player always interested. Aside from all the fun, the power that is packed into this cute and unassuming little game is far beyond impressive. This game's story line is based around an ever expanding universe created by the world's combined imagination. When I speak of power I speak of the player's ability to create fully customizable levels that are based in real life physics. Everything has a weight and everything moves based on its mass and the in-game gravity. It is truly impressive to play through the levels and see how intricately they have designed them. The player himself is given the tools and abilities to be able to create the same kinds of deep levels as the creators have done, and could even go further. It takes but one's imagination and patience to create a beautifully sculpted masterpiece. Aside from the amazingly developed campaign and level building modes, they have created a deeply immersive network of user-created levels. You and your friends can play in levels that people from around the world have created, thus achieving a part of the games basis of its story. If you don't have anyone to play on the network content you can always join up with other player from around the world. Final say: This game redefines platformers and is as impacting as the original Mario Bros. This has risen the bar and will go down in gaming history as one of the best games ever created!
Madagascar is hilarious; my son was laughing through the entire movie and I enjoyed watching it, too. The animals are at the zoo, treated like stars; being catered to, fed, groomed, they have everything they could possibly need. But Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), is not happy and dreams of being in the wild and running free. So, he makes a run for it and this begins an adventure where they're caged and put on a ship back to Africa. The penguins take over the ship, the four animal friends end up on an island and have to fend for themselves, which doesn't make Alex the lion (Ben Stiller) happy. And he starts to show his true colors because he's without his delicious steaks. King Julian (Sasha Baron Cohen) is hilarious, especially his song, "I like to move it" and ...
