I tried Living Proof's Clarifying Detox Shampoo for my thin, dry, frizzy, curly hair. I used this shampoo in place of my regular shampoo twice a week but it can be used as often as you desire, and I followed up with my usual conditioner of choices I felt like my scalp was cleaner lighter, and got oily less sooner. This shampoo does a great job of deeply cleansing, which I noticed from the very first wash. It removed product buildup and oils from my scalp well. This also removes residue from hard water, leaving hair feeling lighter and refreshed. My curls felt lighter and more defined, less weighed down, and had some more volume. Living Proof gifted me their clarifying shampoo and it works great for the whole family. My toddlers skin didn't react badly making this shampoo good for folks with sensitive skin. From the design of the bottle, to the product inside... everything feels luxurious and minimal at the same time. Its charcoal color was an experience itself and the smell is clean and easy. With a little bit of product, I was able to lather my hair and scalp a lot! No skin was irritated making this safe for everyone at home. The texture to this shampoo is soft and gentle. I really enjoyed this product for my hair wash routine. The best part was how fresh my scalp and hair felt when I rinsed everything off. My hair felt light and smooth (no stiffness). It helps my scalp stay clean for about 2.5-3 days before getting noticeably more oily — even with my non-Living Proof conditioning products and hair oil. Even then the amount of sebum isn’t absolutely unbearable, so often I’ll be ok with waiting another day before washing again. This is the best clarifying shampoo there is! It made my hair so clean and feel so fresh,has a wonderful salon like smell. Non stripping or build up. My husband has really bad flaky scalp that itches and bothers him even with using the most expensive of shampoos. This shampoo actually calmed the itching and got completely rid of the flaking! He has tried so many shampoos and scalp serums and nothing seemed to help at all, This did the trick with one wash and it stayed flake free until his next wash. So if you have that kind of problem with your scalp, this will work better than any scalp serum. I love this wonderful shampoo and will be a loyal customer to Living Proof for life.
