If you forget to shake the can, the whole thing flops.My first use of this was ASTOUNDING-my hair looked better dirty and with dry shampoo than it does clean and styled!But, I think I forgot to shake the can at one point, because my second and third uses were underwhelming-hair didn't really degrease. I didn't see any powder, either.Plus the smell...it's giving nursing home? Baby powder and just ick. It actually nauseates me a bit. And it lingers...when I got back into my car after running an errand, I could really smell it. Yuck.I got the travel can and it's about 5-7 uses...enough for a trip or to sample.I might still try it again while diligently shaking the can, but first I'm looking for an alternative, mostly due to the smell.

After trialing this on a number of occasions over the past couple of months, I can tell you that I don't see any difference compared to cheaper dry shampoo products. Works just as well as Batiste but Batiste is a fraction of this price. Yes, it has less white residue but there is still some residue that needs to get worked out of your hair with each use. This product is awesome. I think reviews about the smell are exaggerated. This product is not meant to leave a strong scent in the hair (see their comparison with the other dry shampoo in their line). The smell disappates almost instantly. This leaves the hair feeling smooth and soft, with very little to no white cast when applied properly. If you are looking for a dry shampoo that adds texture, this will not do that, but it will make the hair look and feel clean. **It cannot get rid of build-up in the hair, so ensure you are getting your hair totally clean on wash day!! I find regular dry shampoo masks build-up better, which is why I think this product is getting some bad reviews.
This works really well for me. I’ve always absolutely hated dry shampoo. I’ve tried really expensive ones and cheaper ones, but I just couldn’t stand the feeling of it. I was recommended this one in store, and WOW! It’s absolutely amazing! It’s perfect for those ‘OMG I didn’t have time/couldn’t be bothered washing my hair last night’ times. We’ve all had them. This fixes them. It doesn’t leave behind any horrible residue or overpowering scent. Your hair just feels soft and like it would on any other day. I’ve only ever purchased the small can and it’s lasted for a very long time, so it’s not bad value for a high quality product. Absolutely highly recommended!
