I've only used this once or twice so far, but it worked exactly as expected. I have stainless steel pans with copper bottoms, so I needed a nonstick pan, and I like the versatility of this dutch oven because you can use it on the stovetop or in the oven. I made battered chicken tenders and fried them in oil, and nothing stuck at all. I was delighted. Everything sticks to my stainless steel pans (though I like how easily they clean). This dutch oven is quite heavy, and I need to find a better storage place for it because it's a little dicey standing on a step stool to get it down from an upper cabinet. However, the heft of it tells me that it's good quality for a lot less money than the much more expensive kind. Time will tell if the quality holds up.

I have the red 7 quart Lodge dutch oven and have been wanting this 3 quart brazier. I was able to get an open box item, so I saved some money. I used it the day after it arrived. I sauteed some beautiful summer squash, zucchini and onion in it. The dish came out beautiful and I served it in the pan. I love it and will use it all the time! Oh, it washed up beautifully!

What a beautiful pan it cooks food just as wonderful!! If you’re timid about cast iron, don’t be. Make something simple like chicken wskin, start wpan hot oil, put chicken, skin down until crisp golden then flip! Best ever!! I gave it 4 stars because I believe this should sell whandle mitt bumpers to protect it. DO NOT STACK THESE PANS WITHOUT PROTECTING ENAMEL. Good luck! Hope you love Lodge as much as I do!

Unfortunately it had flaws. Wish I had read reviews better before I ordered. And it had been sent as a wedding gift so even more disappointing. The for the price should have been much better quality. Should have ordered Le Cuisine.
It is my favorite pan. It is red, my favorite color. Everything positive that could be said about it it would be true.. It cooks perfectly every time. I could not ask for a better pan. I have lusted after it for years . I have never made food better in a pan. I cannot recommend it any more. It is exceptional.
I own several Lodge brand pans. They have held up well to all types of wear. Being cast iron, they are heavy. I use the braiser mostly for side dishes and casseroles. I have used it for eggs when having a large number of guests for breakfast. Lodge comes in a wide variety of colors which I really love.This brand is less expensive than others. Good value for the money.
This Lodge pan is amazing! It exceeded my expectations and is priced so reasonable for it's superior performance. Washes easily and still looks fantastic! Our food cooks so well and even in this beautiful piece of cookware! Thank you, Wayfair!
This casserole is gorgeous! I definitely want to note though that it doesn't look this fluorescent in person. It's way prettier! I've been using it for 4 months and have really enjoyed cooking on it. I'm using mine as a skillet. Wiping it out and leaving it on my stove because it's so pretty. If you are expecting non-stick you wont find that here. But be sure to use plenty of oil, lard or butter and you shouldn't have any issues. I'll admit I've had some trouble cleaning it as the butter seems to cook in leaving brown stains. Also, the enamel has already chipped in 2 separate spots. Perhaps that comes with the territory? I just expected it to be a little tougher with just 4 months of wear. My wife uses it for braising dishes, the finish is very nice, there were no blemishes evident, and the lid fits well.It is a Lodge so it is no less than what I have come to expect from them. I really can't see what advantage the higher cost brands offer other than being able to say I have a "brand X" and it cost $400.KaTom did an excellent job of shipping it and it arrived several days before Christmas 2020.
My husband purchased this for me as a gift over two years ago, and I love it. Aside from being quite heavy (as cast iron should be) it is one of the most useful pieces of cookware I own. Cleans beautifully, does not rust, able to stew, braise, roast and deep fry in this durable pot. Large enough to make a huge family - plus sized batch of whatever. Still looks like new, both inside and out.
