Unbelievable that they stopped making this PERFECT mouse in the US and I have to buy it from Japan. Pros: - Comfy fit - 12 side buttons - G-Shift button is STUPENDOUSLY under-rated and it boggles my mind why they don't have it in other mice. It's like having an entirely separate Ctrl/Cmd, Alt, and Shift modifier but on your right hand. So much so that I re-learned my finger positions just for this mouse (pinky on G-Shift, ring on RMB, middle on MMB, index on LMB, thumb on G-Shift buttons). The G-Shift button essentially turns the 12 side buttons into 24 side buttons because the G Hub software, clunky as it is, lets you choose what buttons/macros happen when you have the G-Shift button pressed. Cons: - Middle click gave out on me about 3-4 years in - Left click ... MoreUnbelievable that they stopped making this PERFECT mouse in the US and I have to buy it from Japan. This mouse has lasted me nearly 4 years and has come with me for travels on three continents, including a year spent on holiday in Africa where it was frequently - sometimes hastily - stowed away, lugged around in a backpack, knocked off of my desk (multiple times) and all but thrown when I tripped on the charging cable for my laptop, causing a waterfall of electronics to cascade from atop my desk. This little mouse, however, lasted through it all for so long. Only recently - after about 4 years of harsh daily use - has the G600 begun to fail. The braiding that sheathes the main wire for the mouse began to unravel and caused some irregular tension as a few points in the cable. Over time, this eventually led to the mouse occasionally disconnecting. I've put this thing through the wringer and it didn't fail all those years. Key placement is intuitive and the number of functions you can bind on this little guy is nuts too. Great for everything from WoW to Rust to Minecraft and beyond. Truly an underrated gem of the gaming peripheral community. It certainly stacks up well against mice that cost twice as much and will outlast most other mice when subjected to harsh treatment. The only reason I give it four eggs instead of five is because I really think the issue with the cord braiding wouldn't have happened if a different material was used, but it's such a small point that it hardly even warrants the deducted egg. All in all, would buy again - and I intend to!

I adore this mouse. I bought this one I'm writing about as a backup for my current one which is still going strong nearly 12 or so years after I bought it back in like 2010-ish. I've noticed the steady decrease in price so I wanted to snag a 2nd and I might even grab a 3rd if I can just incase Logitech move this gem to end of life which I hope they don't.This mouse can do so much when you take the time to get to know it. The tumb grid might look intimidating but I promise you it'll feel natural as breathing once you spend a few hours with it. You can even have the keybind program up on a 2nd monitor or in the back behind w/e you are working on if you need to reference which button you gave which key.The best thing too, this can be used for /any/ program hot keys ... MoreI adore this mouse. The perfect, irreplaceable MMO mouse

If you play games with a lot of actions or skills that you like hotkeyed to something convenient, there is no replacement for this mouse. I would know-- Logitech doesn't make this model anymore, and I went looking when my current one started to go on the fritz. The G600 is on the smaller side, which is perfect for my small hands; most gaming mice are way too large for me to hold comfortably. It has an extra ring-finger button on the right that I don't personally use, but lots of people rave about. The 12 side buttons and all 3 scroll wheel buttons are incredibly responsive. My old one lasted 10 years before it died, and I'm hoping for the same lifespan from this one. Mouse came as advertised by the seller--used, but I wouldn't even know it. This mouse was packaged using tape which left heavy residue on the mouse when removed. I had to remove it using other tools. I don't know if the quality of the mouse has been reduced because of this. In the future, please do not do this to your products, as it is very hard to remove the sticky adhesive from the tape from the bottom of the mouse in order to make sure it moves properly.

[Rewarded Review] Functional and Comfortable
29 August 2023

This is a great mouse.I purchased it mainly for work. I use Autodesk Revit and I'm able to assign keyboard shortcuts to each of the side buttons, which makes things more convenient and a little quicker. Even though my initial intent was for work, I also use it for gaming.I find it to be very comfortable as well. I like being able to have the third mouse button which functions as the G-Shift, but is also great for resting your ring finger rather than having to drag it alongside the mouse. Overall it feels good in the hand and has a nice weight to it. Even if you don't use the side buttons, I'd still recommend it for affordability and comfort.I just wish Logitech made a wireless version.

The macros might seem niche at first, but when you use the first three for browser navigation, 2nd three for cut, copy, paste, 3rd row for system related macros and the 4th for other uses you begin have the ability setup the mouse so you rarely have to use keyboard combinations. The G-shift for more buttons helps too especially for program specific macros.I will say, it does take getting used to the ring finger button, but you can solve this by just disabling it's functionality until you have a use for it. In gaming like Fallout 4 it makes a real nice button for melee or VATS. At the moment I have about 8 macros of the 38~ total used and two of the three profiles for different OS's while the third is for gaming. E, R, F mapped to the first row of thumb buttons is really convenient.Only cons really are that Logitech doesn't make a wireless version and while there are other options on the market which may fill in that niche, this by far looks like something I could bring into an office. Compared to the Razer Naga, this feels far better and much easier to keep track of the button sets. Don't let the amount of thumb buttons scare you, this mouse, especially on sale is a real gem.

It's a subpar product that fails to live up to Logitech's reputation for quality gaming peripherals. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider other options on the market, as there are far better gaming mice available at this price point.

my second G600 mouse

I use my first G600 with my Business Desktop. I bought the second one to be used with my new CAD machine which also has a Genovation CP48 programmable keyboard. The CP48 was a charm to program and works wonderfully. The new G600 software was a total failure. Once installed neither the taskbar icon nor the icon on the desktop would function at all. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Logitech's tech line uninstalling and reinstalling 3 or 4 times. The tech fed me to another tech and then said our backroom tech will get back to you in 3 or 4 days. They got back in 3 days with an email and a list of procedures of which I know nothing about. After a few more days I decided to bump around inside their software to see if I could get it to program the buttons. I finally succeeded but have no idea what I did. Another tech finally got back to me and I told him the story I am relating to you now. This review is primarily all about Logitech and has little or nothing to do with B&H. I use B&H often and am impressed with their quality goods at reasonable prices.
