Logitech 1080P Pro Stream Webcam for HD Video Streaming and Recording

Starting off, the camera is plug and play and simple to use. If you are someone like me that has mostly logitech products. Then you use Logitech G-Hub. While G-Hub is great, it does not offer many options or functions. Then there is Logitech Capture, which really wakes this webcam up and offer many functions. The streaming capability is impressive for a small price tag. Overall this is a great webcam for both beginners and professionals.

*This model seems to be the C930E. I bought mine from Best Buy a couple years ago. Both Influenster and even Best Buy seem, for some reason, to not make the model number apparent; I finally found the model number in a customer review on the Best Buy page for this webcam.* I bought this webcam when the pandemic started and everyone was trying their hand at streaming on Twitch. Every other webcam was sold out, including this one, but this had the shortest waitlist so I went with this one. It's a decent value for the price, but the picture isn't great. The colors are also a bit off, though not terrible as some other webcams are. I have wanted to upgrade my webcam basically since I bought this; but it's certainly better than nothing! The "clip" it comes with is rather terrible and awkward, but it keeps the camera somewhat in place if it's not bumped. Also, it does have a built-in microphone, which is something that has benefitted me when my headset mic decides to stop functioning and I have no alternative set up. Oh, I almost forgot: It's got a very wide angle lens, which is something important to consider! I specifically wanted a wide-angle lens at the time, and this webcam certainly delivered on that front. This is also a completely "plug-and-play" webcam, so there's no extra software that you need to install before using; just plug it in and get going. For the price, this is a decent starter webcam; but you'll almost certainly want to upgrade to something with a much clearer picture and truer colors later on. Still, I do recommend this webcam, especially to those on a budget.

I bought this product with the intention of using it for livestreaming and other small uses such as skype. Camera recording at its best!

Upon receiving and opening up my package with the Logitech 1080p Pro Stream Webcam I was thrilled to see the size of the unit. I t is a very durable webcam, not cheaply made.I have to admit, I was sceptical about using this. I am not very good doing things that would require being techy. I almost always have to rely on calling my daughter(who is extremely techy) or watch a video about it on you tube.But, not this time. When it says to just plug it in and you're ready to go, it means just that. The setup was easy and fairly quick. You didn't really need any instructions to know what to do.The quality was superb. Great webcam for video calls and conferencing

Super easy to set up. I plugged it in, and it worked immediately with Microsoft Teams under both Windows and Linux. There aren't any drivers to install, so Logitech's Capture software can be skipped unless you just need some of its features although most of these can be found elsewhere. It also works right out of the box with OBS Studio and XSplit VCam for more complex setups.As far as performance is concerned, I didn't have any issues. The built in microphone works well. It records 720p and 1080p at 30 fps (I didn't see anywhere that 60 fps was an option though), and the video quality is decent. Autofocus isn't as fast as I would like, but it's not awful. However, don't buy this expecting hardware background removal. It doesn't appear that the camera supports it directly (unlike similar models), so if you want that feature, you'll need software that does it for you or a green screen for chromakey.Overall, I think it's perfect for video conferencing for working from home or anything related to online classes. If you're teaching or doing presentations, the video quality seems good enough that it can be used like an overhead projector to record handwritten or printed material as well. It would probably make a good basic streaming/YouTube cam, too, as long as you take its limitations into account.

The Logitech Web Cam 1080p is likely all I will ever need to record home activities for my Grands. My Demos for teaching baking, art, How to DIY will be very useful. And visiting with them as they grow up. I'm not a Tech Whiz but it is easy enough to plug this one in to the Lap Top or set it on the counter and get all the downloads for the choices I want on my Web Cam... It has nice little speakers and good Color, also auto focus. I look better on this than a cell phone selfie to my delight! I think self focusing could have more depth of field, however it will record my DIY work nicely.Good lighting is helpful, and you can google Logitech for instructional beginning and use, for how to use this Web Cam better. A Tripod is very useful with this small Web Cam...since it has the adapting screw for it.Come on Logitech give a tripod with this Web Cam. It's a good thing to allow better focus with.

This Logitech 1080p Pro Stream Webcam is a really modern-looking and capable webcam with integrated stereo microphone. I do especially appreciate the very flexible webcam mount which makes it easy to hang on top of a your monitor, screw the webcam to a tripod or stand-up on its own. The USB cord is quite long. The HD image quality is very sharp and colors are vivid.The webcam is plug 'n play on Win7 Pro. The package does not include any s/w nor technical instructions for first timer webcam users. I have not discovered how to change webcam to 720P/60fps rate. Nice camera/microphone for casual video or chats

I haven't used a webcam for my PC for a very long time so I'm not very familiar with the other options out there on the market today.The Logitech 1080p Pro Stream Webcam was easy to use. The epitome of Plug and Play. You plug it in your USB port and it automatically installs the necessary software. I put it on my decade old Windows 10 HP computer and it functioned with no issues. It was actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The camera was very easy to adjust (the view, up and down). It just sits on top of your computer screen. You don't have to worry about any damage to your screen because it's not a clamp, but it is secure.I tested the camera on a Zoom music lesson. The video was clear enough. The camera is not like a more expensive professional video blogger camera but it works well for casual use, video chats and such.The only thing that I wish it had was a manual PHYSICAL privacy shutter for the camera. I don't like having cameras in my house because if someone really wanted to that can hack anything. (I'm not that tech savvy to stop hackers.) I just put a post-it note on it when I'm not using it or just unplug it all together. This camera does have lights along the sides to tell you that the camera is on though, so that's good.

Prepare to Rewrap Products if it's a Present!

I bought this in December for a Christmas gift. It came in a plastic bag, no box. So I had to rewrap it myself, which I was not expecting to do. Product works fine though, even without a manual or any directions given. I am writing this review because I just received an email giving me the shipping information, almost 3 months later. Confusing.
