Logitech C505 HD Webcam

Very easy to set up, just plug in and use straight away. Have been using this for a few months and had no issues. Only comment I would make is that it has no zoom feature so often shows me quite close up on screen for Teams meetings etc, but not a big deal, I just sit a little further back from the screen if needed. Good quality though.

Very happy with this, easy to use, just plug and play. Good picture and easy to attach wherever it works best. Bought it on special and pleased with the price too. Have only used it a couple of times so far but haven't had any problems. The long cord is a bit annoying when using at my desk but I'm sure it will come in useful in other situations.

I've been using this webcam for about a year now, on a PC for work. It is truly plug and play. Everything just works as specified, clear meeting image, great sound, etc. The only issue your face fills the screen - you are massive. In the end I mounted the webcam on a tripod behind the screen by about 250-300mm. All good now.

Great conferencing webcam

The long cable of this webcam makes it perfect to place it anywhere, even at a distance from the computer which is especially useful if you’re at a big conferencing table. It would be nice if it came with a stand as well as the clip it comes with. The audio is excellent and the video quality is good as well. It’s easy to install it and you can find instructions and official videos online.

I have used this for zoom calls for school absolutely horrendous wouldn’t recommend would use the upgraded version of it though it looks a lot cleaner and sleek the reason why I rate this camera so bad is that it doesn’t/ barely focuses so you look like you’ve taken a video with the 10 commandments while they were being made. Overall buy the better Logitech camera this one is horrendous

Pros: It works, but it doesn't seem to be the high quality it advertises. It attaches well to my laptop. Cons: I'm not picky, but the reason I have given this such low points is because I can't zoom out at ALL. I have to put my laptop about an arm and a half's length away from my face to have my face fit normally into the picture. I tried the logitech website but unfortunately this webcam model (unlike some others they offer) does not have the ability to zoom out.

Really zoomed in, picture is overexposed

I work remotely and I bought this because I needed better quality video for zoom calls. The camera is just ok. It is really zoomed in and there is no way of zooming out. It’s kind of nice sometimes because every now and then I may not want people to see my room. The way it clips onto my laptop is pretty unstable and it falls off my computer a lot. I have a dual monitor set up and the light from both of my monitors makes the video super exposed. I tried different lighting in my room and I even bought a ring light type of light to see if it would help. It made it worse. In calls my face looks super bright and you can barely see any of my features. It’s just not great. I would return but I already tossed the box.

Works well

I wanted something a bit better than basic but didn't see the need for an advanced model. This fits the bill - a decent quality image, works straight out of the box and sits unobtrusively at the top of the monitor. On a side note, I had to remove software associated with previous devices as I couldn't find where to set this as default and third party apps were not finding it.

great product

very nice camera, quality is great, when the blue light comes on the webcam you will be connected, simple process to connect, takes seconds to connect it. I have found it connects easily on my windows pc and my mac pc! so even better, with the built in microphone i no longer need to use headset, other people can pick my voice up really easily without any interference. Very clear image on video calls. Small and fits perfectly onto any computer. 10/10 product.
