I got these discounted and they are so worth the money. Build quality is superb as the headband is constructed of metal, sound quality is good (although you may wanna tune your EQ in the software to get your preferred sound signature) and the mic is by far the best on any gaming headset on the market (to my knowledge) especially with the inclusion of Blue Voice in the software. I also replaced the earpads with the velour ones that come included with the headset and they are very comfy. I personally don't turn on virtual surround sound as I think it is just a gimmick but it is present for those who want it on. I don't know if I would recommend this headset for console as most of the features (Blue Voice and surround sound if you're into that) are reliant on the driver software being present, however if you're strictly on PC; these are a great pickup (especially on sale). TLDR: Pros: - Build Quality. - Sound Quality. - Detachable Cable and Mic. - Replaceable earpads. - Software is easy to configure. - Very comfy once broken in. - Sidetone setting is really useful. Cons: - Clamping force is a bit high out of the box but over time it should get better. - Can't take them off and rest them around your neck as the earcups put pressure on your neck. Things to think about: - Software unavailable on console, so you're stuck with the stock mic and EQ. Although these are still pretty good, you're probably better off getting something else if you mainly play on console. - A setting in the G Hub software makes it so loading different games can change the profile on any of your products that are compatible with G Hub, I recommend disabling this if you won't make use of this and just need one setting for everything. All in all, Logitech are very reliable in my experience when it comes to gaming peripherals, and this headset is definitely a good deal especially if you don't mind waiting for a sale.

It's not like it feels super luxurious or anything, it's just that it stays comfortable after long wear. It took a couple of days to get past that initial brand new headset tightness, but ever since it has been comfortable and my wife even prefers it over other headsets in the house now. Highly recommend these over the Steel Series Arctis 3/5 and others that tend to be favorites in the same range.

I bought these because the pads on my old wireless bluetooth headphones had been worn thin and the company I bought them from no longer sold that pair. I bought these because I was looking for a solid set that sounded good - had modular capability (I kinda hate getting poked in the face by the mic) and were wireless. Well, I got two out of three things with that. I bought them thinking they were wireless, but they're not - but it wasn't a total deal breaker for me and was also on me for not realizing it, especially at the price I paid. The construction of these headphones are top notch. I love that they used actual thick metal for the headband and the hinges. That was my #1 issue with most logitech products is that the headband and hinges would break constantly. Now that they're reinforced, I most likely will see the other parts break before the hinges and headband do. The sound is rather good compared to the G935's and G933 Artimus Spectrums I've owned. The base is deeper, vocals are much clearer and sound more full. Over all an improvement for sure. For me it falls flat in the 7.1 surround sound settings. Even with plenty of fidgetting with the settings (It comes with it's own software suite which is nice. I own a 603 wireless mouse and it shows me battery % and allows me to program the buttons on the left of the mouse.) and I could not get it to sound better than listening to everything through a tin can. Everything sounds distant and echo's too much, but what can you really expect from digital surround sound? I've get to find a solid set of 7.1 headphones. I'll stick to the real deal or a 5.1 sound bar. Over all, these headphones are a solid pick up if you want a pair of analogue headphones with some solid audio quality.

I really appreciate that it comes with a cable for PC coupled with a 3.5mm to USB-A adapter, a cable for phones with embedded mic, and an audio/mic 3.5mm splitter. In other words, this headset can be used on any device. Audio and mic are great. You can watch youtube reviews for more info. The only downside is you can't place it around your neck. It will quite literally strangle you. Some people online also suggested bending the metal (holding the ear cups) out for reduced clamping force. The leather ear pads that come by default are nice but I still found them uncomfortable for extended usage. It does come with an extra pair of sponge ear pads but you lose sound quality. Great step-up from Budget Headset
30 May 2022

After using my Turtle Beach Recon 70 for over a year, the wiring in the cord was starting to disconnect leading the crackly audio from the headset, so I decided to step-up and get a nicer quality headset for gaming. Pros: -The audio quality is great and I love the surround sound and how crisp everything is. -External audio driver which is great since my laptop's own audio driver started having issues after updating to Windows 11, plus allows more customizability with G Hub. -Removable cords and mic makes storage easy and helps keep the cord from becoming damaged. -Stylish and simple look. -Good price for it's ability. It fits pretty snug on my head, but I've found wearing glasses while using this headset for long periods of time can lead to discomfort. Neutral: -Doesn't fold but I found a cheap headset holder that works well for storage. -Wired, which is what I prefer. Cord is pretty long so not much risk of it getting caught on stuff. Overall this is a great headset if you are wanting a good quality, wired headset, especially if a mic is the least of your concerns.

Great surround sound and a Blue yeti mic
3 December 2022

The sound, the fit and the functionality of the mic of these headphones is amazing. The 7.1 surround sound experience during gaming is better than anything I've ever experienced. The ability to adjust the sound equalization based on what it is you're doing, watching, or playing etc is awesome. They're also extremely comfortable, but a little on the snug side during, which can lead to a slight discomfort at the end of extremely long gaming sessions or prolonged use in the 8 to 10 hour range which I don't do very often anyway. When you add to those two things a Blue yeti microphone that is completely customizable, and in my opinion you can't find a better set of headphones. Logitech - G PRO X Wired 7.1 Headset

To preface this review: The microphone would not work with any of my windows-based computers or my phone but did work with my MacBook which was very weird. Logitech support gave me a bunch of things to try but ultimately none of them ever worked. They said they would "elevate" me but ended up not sending me anything for 5 days until the same representative sent me another request for more info, which was a disappointing experience. I have since returned them because I couldn't get them to work. As for the headphones, they felt fine. Not the most comfortable headphones I own. The headband has to sit much further back up my head than I would like because the ear cups are angled in a way that demands it. They are at least deep enough to fit over my ears comfortably, unlike my expensive Corsair Virtuoso headphones. The sound quality was good. The surround sound wasn't great for what I tried it with but it was admittedly little. I suspect it would've been satisfactory for the price. I cannot speak too much for the microphone quality, but from the quick test I was able to do on my MacBook, it was alright. I like the Logitech GHUB software. I think sometimes it has some issues, but when it works, the configuration is well done. It doesn't work a lot though. For instance, game-specific settings often don't get picked up on.

Love the audio but mic volume is constant problem
11 May 2022

It was really hard to review the headphones. On the one hand they have some of the best audio I’ve had in a set of headphones before especially for the price. I also love the sizing and compactness of them. But on the other hand my friends constantly told me that the audio input from the headphones are very low and hard to hear. Almost that it sounds like I’m talking from far away in a room. It’s probably due to the fact that the mic is removable so the audio can only be so good. It’s very unfortunate because I game consistently and use them for my computer all the time but it’s a problem that I have to set all my audio input volume wherever I use these headphones absurdly high. I recommend these if you’re heavily focused on audio and having compact headphones. ... MoreIt was really hard to review the headphones. Too fragile

I bought this headset originally in August 2020, and it didn't last until March 2021, as the plastic cover over the metal headband broke (right side). The component is made of plastic. I put in a warranty claim, and received another headset (I give Logitech credit here). However, the same component failed on the newer headset, in March 2023. I contacted Logitech about the issue again and was denied any support (including spare parts). I googled this issue and I don't seem to be alone with this component failing. I always had the headband extended (I have a big head), so maybe your experience will be different if you have a smaller head. Prior to this, I used a wireless Logitech H600 for 7-8 years until it stopped taking a charge due to the USB wearing out.
