I’ve had these $30 headset from Amazon for over 4 years and they started dying on me. I decided to buy this headset since it had had reviews and Logitech is a good company. The headset is good when playing music and you are able to adjust everything. My first issue is when I opened up Ghub my audio wheel stopped working, after searching around I found out that you have to switch usb ports which isn’t a big issue. Then comes the mic quality, even after adjusting and trying their presets, the mic was still off and worse than my $30 headset’s. And with the audio quality, I found that playing to music it sounded pretty decent, but when it came to games the audio was super off set and very echoey. Last thing was I felt that both sides of the headset did not sound the same. The left side would be clearer than the right, with the right feeling like theres a thin wall infront of it.

For a flagship headset I expected more coming from this product. I've been using Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for almost 2 years and it's just recently started giving me issues from randomly disconnecting to random static noises or glitchy sounds. All my drivers were updated to try and fix it but I guess it's just a sign of its lifetime with me coming to an end. I was suggested these headphones, Logitech G Pro X, by a friend saying it was the best headset they've own. I have all my other peripherals from Logitech and I've been loving them so I thought maybe completing it with a headset from Logitech would be so much more convenient having all my settings in one app or Hub. Just trying them on feels like you're holding a flagship item, which it should because it is. ... MoreFor a flagship headset I expected more coming from this product. Just trying them on feels like you're holding a flagship item, which it should because it is. However, that's pretty much where all the nice things I could say for this headset. These were supposedly a great headset but I beg to differ. After picking this up and plugging it in, the audio quality to me felt flat and super quiet. The bass is pretty much non existent but the mids and highs were okay. The surround sound just made everything felt far away and when playing games or listening to music, it was just a terrible experience to me. I tried to mess with the EQ settings quite a bit to try and get it to my liking but it just wasn't enough for me. Now onto the mic, I didn't quite do a in depth test of the mic but from the simple test I've made, it sounds subpar even with Blue Voice on. I don't use the mics on headset as I have an external mic but for those times I do use my headset on consoles, I would think twice before I speak using this headset mic. The build quality was great though, it was nice and hefty and feels pretty premium. But this is just my preference. You can pick these up and try them on yourself and see if you'd like the sound profiles yourself. If not, do what I will be doing in an hour and returning these and finding a better one that fits my taste and expectations.

As soon as I opened the box I could feel the quality.I was replacing my Razer Kraken V3 Pro headset. It is around the same price, yet substantially bulkier and flimsier. My Razer also was beginning to cut out in the left ear and one side always drooped. They have all the same features but this headset is much more snug in fit; the microphone is less bulky; the headrest is thinner but somehow seems like denser, higher quality foam; it has replacement ear cushions; comes with a protective bag if you care about that.Sound quality around this price range will really be unsubstantial in difference, for a noticeable difference you'd need to pay much less or much more.It is a lot of money but I got this on sale for $100 off. Most headsets sound muffled or weird and feel uncomfortable. The reason I like these so much is the tru tone. I can hear myself perfectly clear and to feels very natural. Other headsets make me sound muffled and conscious about how I am talking. Or I can hear the echo on my room. But these are great. I also like how when I mute my teams calls it keeps the True Tone on so when I unmute I don’t have to wait for it to come back on. Overall I’d recommend trying them if you’re concerned about other headsets and how you sound to yourself when talking. I use these for discord for gaming and for work on Microsoft teams and other work software. The cons would be sometimes the wireless can be choppy when I go into other rooms (fine if there’s no walls in the way) and they are ... MoreMost headsets sound muffled or weird and feel uncomfortable. I use these for discord for gaming and for work on Microsoft teams and other work software. The cons would be sometimes the wireless can be choppy when I go into other rooms (fine if there’s no walls in the way) and they are rather large. But I prefer headsets that cover my whole ear as opposed to sitting on top of my ear. By not sitting on top of my ears I find these are more comfortable for all day use. They do not have noise canceling so I can still hear things around me. Mic quality is decent to pretty good.
My headphones would beep as if the mic was turning off every single time I would open a new application or after any audio after a delay of 30 seconds. Since I have another mic, I attempted to disable the speaker driver and this still wouldn't work. This was extremely distracting. I installed logitech G hub in order to see if there were any additional settings I could tinker with to remedy this. After installing the G hub software the volume on the headset wouldn't work. I absolutely don't recommend this product. I just want a device that is simple and does what I bought it for with no additional complications. This has been unbelievably distracting trying to mess with the headset and software over the last week. I'm never buying another Logitech product again.
This product absolutely sucks. IT does not hold a charge, it gives no warning that the battery is low, no beeps or anything to warn you. I have had trouble setting it up from the get go and attempted to return it to best buy like 34-40 days after purchasing it. I paid 180$ for it at the store, the store assoiate assured me these were the best ones out here of all the other choices. Now I had to unhook it to take them with me to a recent hospital stay and ended u having to go out and buy a newer MUCH cheaper set. Hooked them up to my laptop and NOTHING NO SOUND of anything!! i got back home 6 days later from major surgery and am trying to get them to work once again, and NOTHING. A total waste of my money for something we paid a decent price for . i like the sound ... MoreThis product absolutely sucks. To preface this review, I’m coming from the Logitech G230 headset that I’ve been using for over 5 years. Compared to that headset, this one felt very heavy at first. It took some time for me to get used to the heft; and while I still feel the weight, it’s not really bothersome. This headset is pretty comfortable out of the box. I almost immediately switched to the included velour cushions as they are more comfortable and not as warm/sticky feeling. I used those for a few days until I upgraded to the Brainwavz angled hybrid ear cushions which are much thicker (shown in the picture). I did this because my ears did touch the drivers with the default cushions. While it wasn’t uncomfortable or painful, I just can’t stand it. The sound out of the box is pretty bad imo. ... MoreTo preface this review, I’m coming from the Logitech G230 headset that I’ve been using for over 5 years. It’s very flat and sounds sort of distant. To fix this make sure to take advantage of the g hub software to customize the EQ or download one from the community. For me personally, I just boosted the low and the high end and it sounds much better. The mic is what you expect from a wireless headset, it’s bad. My friends in discord say it’s a decent step back compared to my old wired headset, but that’s the trade off you make going wireless. Nevertheless, it still serves its purpose. They can clearly hear what I’m saying and that’s all I care about. I really miss having a flip up mic so it’s not in my face all the time. Yeah you can remove the mic completely but that’s not exactly easy and convenient to do over and over. The battery life is very good and I only charge it once every 3 days for my usage. It also seems to charge pretty quickly. Overall, this headset is pretty good, it has a good amount of features and sounds good after some adjustment. However, I think it’s still overpriced. I think $150 would be a much more reasonable price.
The sound on this headset is amazing. The Logitec app offers lots of audio customization, allowing you to change the bass, spatial audio, etc. The headset is also really comfortable to wear. It comes with leather cushions on the headset already, but there’s an extra pair of foam cushions included. This is where the positives end. This headset is wireless NOT bluetooth. You cannot use this headset without the usb adapter plugged in, so if you wanted to use this with your phone… you’re out of luck. For a $250 headset it’s ridiculous that you’re restricted to wireless only.
To start, I only use them on pc.Great directional sound, feels great but the audio feels off, just not crisp, like. There is a mild constant fuzz. Just enough to feel like there isn't great clarity. I have been using the WH 1000xm5 from Sony and comparably, I very impressed. They are great for their cost, but there is still a big difference. They are 100% more comfortable though. They come with both cloth and leather earmuffs and nice padded carrying pad and a normal length charging cable like a 3ft one.Now the super picky stuff. While they have good bass, the bass seem very shallow, no depth in different frequency. Same with the highs. Voices however are almost perfect. When I had them connected to my pc it actually allow DTS 2.0 and 7.1 surround. The controls are on the back of the left earcup - Top to bottom - Microphone toggle, Volume control, Power switch, Type C charging port, LED indicator.Unlike the G933 which had DTS 1.0 and Dolby, the Pro X has DTSX 2.0 but no Dolby. However, there's nothing to miss about Dolby - The Pro X allows excellent control over equalizers and the surround sound channels and allows you to tune the sound output anyway you want. The Pro G 50mm drivers perform phenomenally and even at 100% output and bass tuned all the way up, the sound doesn't break at all.The microphone is Blue Voice - Which allows you to tune the input. The noise suppression is great with the mic being able to tune out a mechanical keyboard (not sure how it'll hold up against clicky switches - I had linear ones which don't make a lot of noise), my laptop's fans running on turbo with a laptop cooler blasting off as well.It is important to note that the headset does not work in a wired mode. The only way it works is with the dongle and I used a USB type c to Type A converter to test it with my Android phone and it works excellently - though I wasn't able to use DTS due to the lack of onboard profiles. The other downside is that the earcups don't rotate so you can't have the headset lie flat on the desk or on your shoulders. The battery lasts about 24 hours with 0-100% charging taking around 4-5 hours. You can use the headset while it's plugged in and yes, you can use your phone's charger as well as long as it supports outputting 5v 1A.This headset cannot be compared against the audiophile headphones - it's a gaming headset and within that niche, it's excellent. With the newer model costing 250 USD, this one still holds up a decent value on a sale.
