I have medium-large hands (18.5cm) and this mouse is the perfect size and shape for my hands! Usually I rest my fingers on the right/left mouse buttons and when I slam the mouse down, the mouse may register a left or right click. This is most likely due to my technique. This is reproducible on just about every single mouse (gaming or not) that I have used, but some mice do it more easily than others. the Logitech G403 Prodigy is one of the easiest to do this on. Finally broke free from my long time used original Razer Death Adder.Using a claw grip with a death adder needs more force to pickup with its slippery sides and weight. Also tried out a Razer Basilisk. really wanted to like, but hurt my right grip fingers, very uncomfortable.This mouse is very refined in its basics. All the buttons have instant response and a nice tactile feel, it is audible. My fire rate has improved over death adder and previously owned logitech mice. Grip is near perfect for that claw grip, for function and comfort it is the best I have found for gaming. This would be five star if is had the clutch button and thumb rest of the Razer Basilisk. Everything else feels next level compared to the two razers named more precise, better buttons and ... Even if you were a competitive professional gamer, you would not be able to notice any difference between this mouse and others of comparable size and style. Got this mouse after favoring mostly larger/heavier mouse sizes. I've used the Corsair Glaive and M65, Razer Deathadder and liked the weight and size of those mouses at the time. After switching to the G403 its a game changer. Much lighter, much smaller and overall i feel like the mouse fits in my hand better. I truly love it, and the quality of the Logitech mice are incredible.One of the greater oversights I feel like when it comes to mice is the 3rd party software when it comes to functionality. I could really care less the colors that are under my hand when gaming, but changing DPI is by far the best with Logitech software. Very quick setup, very user friendly and I can easily tell by a small desktop popup icon what DPI that I am using every time I change DPIs.

It lets you change the LED colors, the DPI settings, the polling rate, etc. It also tells you how much battery life the mouse has. This may work more smoothly on Win 8.1 or 10, I have no idea yet since I haven't used it on the two other computers in the house.Overall, a good mouse. I wanted to go wireless again after a long period of only using wired mice, and this is a success.
Excellent mouse, I would rate it 5 stars except for three small flaws; The weight is balanced too far forward (Likely so the included weight can be added without making the mouse unbalanced (I wouldn't recommend using it, as most typically aim better the lighter their mouse), though isn't really noticeable in casual play, and the hump of the mouse is slightly off kilter, right at the G logo. The bump may make this mouse uncomfortable for palm grip players, but is actually useful for claw grippers such as myself, because it creates more grip in the palm of your hand. Lastly, the RGB on this mouse is great, but the scroll wheel, unless viewed directly from the top looks dull and a slightly darker shade. Got this mouse primarily for FPS and everyday use. I actually quite like the back. I have 18cm by 9cm hands and it feels pretty comfortable for palm grip. The problems I have with the g403 are the front-right (where the ring-finger rests) and the base. The shape of the front-right required me to strain my hand a bit for ideal grip and after a few dozen hours of use my ring and little fingers along with the right side of my hand started to ache. The shape of the base made it quite easy for the mouse to roll to the left with the grip I was using. It may simply be that my grip and hand-size don't mesh well with this mouse. The scroll-wheel is a bit iffy compared to my g402 and my brother's Pro, but it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. If you think you might like it. it's worth a try. Just don't lose the receipt and try to put it through it's paces before the return period is over. I will be returning this mouse and trying out the Razer Basilisk as it's a similar shape to my old g402 with a lighter overall weight.
