Ordered this mouse to partner with my Dell laptop. Works just perfectly and it’s the perfect size. Not too small, like several others I’ve had in the past. Fits my hand just fine. No grips on the side, but ideal for what I need. It’s a red on top and black on the bottom. The lightness and size were really my only intentions when searching for a new mouse, so for me, this mouse fits my needs exactly and the speed/response of the mouse is an added bonus. I love the wireless feature, and the port is slight that fits in the computer, doesn’t stick out and get in the way. Also, I use the middle scroll button A LOT, it’s a must have feature. I like to open a lot of tabs, which all you have to do is click down on the scroll button to do so. Very convenient and ideal for ... MoreOrdered this mouse to partner with my Dell laptop. I ended up buying this mouse a few years ago after my old one unfortunately took a bath. If you need a mouse for everyday use it works just fine so I'd give it a 4 stars for that. Factoring in a touchy on/off switch that would sometimes stick in the off position, a very cheep feel as one, and some minor glitches. Nothing that I wouldn't expect for a cheep mouse. However I do a lot with photo editing and I'd find that it would cause my curser to wiggle a little bit when doing careful editing no matter what surface it was on. I couldn't draw even a semi straight line with it if I wanted to but my old mouse which was twice the price of this could. More recently it is starting to just drop connection for half seconds while using it 1 meter from the receiver too which ... MoreI ended up buying this mouse a few years ago after my old one unfortunately took a bath. More recently it is starting to just drop connection for half seconds while using it 1 meter from the receiver too which has been rough. So for more delicate applications like editing and drafting I would recommend getting a better mouse unless you are willing to live with its quirks for the time being. In which I give it 3 starsOverall, it has done well for the price for a few years, but the mouse wheel has finally stopped working and so I am finally ready to actually get a better mouse again.

Overall this mouse was pretty good while it lasted, I mean for its price you can't expect anything more. If you want a mouse for the long term I recommend just investing into a more expensive mouse as it will probably last longer and be overall better quality. While I used it, it was good and comfortable although was not to good on surfaces and had some connection issues at time. It also lasted a long time before I had to change the batteries in it. To the end of its life time it just kept losing connection but that was really the only issue. If you not to serious about needing a mouse I would recommend.

I bought this as part of a keyboard/mouse set. It worked great but the sensor light never came on and I didn't think anything about that, but the accuracy of the mouse was never exact. I thought it was my non-reliable wifi. It didn't occur to me that the sensor light was not even working until recently. Often it wouldn't scroll and now is not scrolling at all. The response to my moving the cursor was erratic - sometimes overshooting my target or not getting to it. I assume, now, this is because the sensor never worked from the beginning. I am purchasing another because I really like this mouse but I didn't realize there was a problem soon enough to replace it. I would recommend it but would suggest you check the sensor light right away.
Overall satisfied with design and performance, as well as simple setup. If i were to redesign it I would make the finger contacts sllightly more cupped and a little deeper to sort of hold your fingers in place better. The mouse plastic is very smooth and sometime your fingers just tend to slide out of place on its slick surface. Perhaps adding some texture to the plastic (not a pad) would give better finger grip. Also there is no lazer light visible on the bottom on this model as some previous ones had, so its a bit hard to tell if your battery is good or not by a glance . Sensitivity is excellent and fluid movement. It is a good quality mouse and I will only buy logitech from now on. I do like it.
Pros: It's just a simple little mouse. Quick and positive in it's response. I bought it for non-games computing just left and right buttons, scroll wheel and it's fine. There is a scroll wheel depress function, but not one I use.Cons: Cannot comment on games use, I just don't know. Might be fine or maybe not.
Pros: I have purchased at least 5 of the M185 wireless mouse in recent years. The design and operation are perfect for my use. Shape is perfect. The size is perfect. The storage slot for the wireless receiver, inside the mouse, is a brilliant feature.Cons: I have seen reviews of this mouse complaining that the wireless receiver was not supplied with the mouse. Please include mention of the wireless receiver storage location in the instructions.
One star only because required to rate in order to review. I ordered this mouse because the one I had was very small and made my hand hurt after prolonged computer work. I specifically chose this one because I like logitech and because the dimensions were specified as 3.58 by 5.83 by 8.70 inches. I finally received it today, and it is crazy small. I measured it and found the dimensions to be approximately 4 by 2.5 by 1.5. It is smaller than the mobile mouse I already have. I am extremely disappointed and now in a bind because I wasted time waiting for this one which was nothing as claimed.
This works as well as any of my other Logitech mice, which I like a lot. Good control, simple basic shape (I really am not interested in these newer wonky mice that look like they're designed to break the sound barrier rather than just move a pointer around a screen). This particular mouse, though, falls a bit below my expectations for Logitech. It feels much lighter weight, much less substantial; there is a little bit of "rattle" when I move it around - maybe a loose battery cover? It doesn't seem loose when I check it, but that little rattle is there, nonetheless. If you use your computer as much as I do (I'm a computer programmer, both professionally and as a hobby), you might want something a little more than this mouse. The M325 I bought years ago is far better, but even the Home Essentials Direct Basics mouse I bought around the same time is better. Also, obviously not a "gaming" mouse, so if that's you're thing, definitely look elsewhere.
What I love about this mouse is the size; it's on the smaller size but not teeny tiny. I also like that it has an on/off switch on the back so you can turn it off to save the battery. I have also found that the wireless connection works great. I have 3 of these now. My first one came in a combo pack with my keyboard that I purchased over a year ago when I began working remotely from home; it is still working great. My daughters, age 5 & 8, are virtual schooling and found the standard mouse to be too big for their hands. So I purchased 2 more the beginning of this school year and they work great for them being it's on the smaller size. And since it's wireless I don't have to worry about idle/distracted hands messing with the cord.
