Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Combo

Performance:worth itGood sized keyboard. Both keyboard and mouse very lightweight. Keyboard is comfortable to type, I like a more ‘bouncy’ keyboard so this is great for me. I like the mouse, I don’t like a flat top mouse and I like a mouse with again more ‘bounce’ when I click. Best part is, both keyboard and mouse is pretty much silent. The noise is verrrryy minimal. In fact it sounds louder in the video coz phone mic is apparently very good and can pick up even a sound this minimal 😅 exactly the kinda wireless keyboard and mouse I’ve been searching for. Totally worth it. Now I hope it’s long lasting as well.I ordered on 9 Dec and received on 12 Dec.

Absolutely bizarre. Once again, no fault of the seller, just a bizarre and inconvenient design choice by Logitech.Performance: 9/10Performance has been exceptional - far better than expected. It is literally the quietest keyboard I have ever heard (quieter even than all my laptop keyboards). The keys have good travel-depth, firmness, and feel satisfying to the touch, despite the sound dampening. Extendable 'feet' (for keyboard tilt) are pleasantly rubberised, so feels secure and does not slide on my slippery desk.My mouse experience has been solidly good, perhaps even great, but not perfect - which is why I deduct a single point. It is as silent as the keyboard, feels good to the touch, and clicks feel satisfying. Movement and tracking (on my slippery desk) is even smoother and more accurate than my MSFT modern mouse - which was nearly 10x the price. It is a smaller mouse which, with average male hands, takes a little getting used to - but not too small to be uncomfortable.Where I deduct a point is that the sensor does not project a red or blue (or any) light when in use - it is perfectly invisible. This makes me uncomfortable not knowing whether it is switched on - for several reasons: 1) out of battery-life concerns, but more importantly 2) safety - the (invisible) beam can (and undoubtedly will) strike a user's eye for extended periods, without them knowing, each time they examine the underside of the mouse. Which they are FORCED to do, because the mouse's OFF/ON toggle is also on the underside of the mouse. I have to (naively?) trust Logitech has taken some measure to ensure the beam is not active or not harmful - but to be safe I am careful to reach under the mouse and flick the on-off toggle by feel BEFORE turning the mouse over.Installation: 10/101) Remove yellow stickers to activate batteries, and 2) insert dongle into USB port. That's it. Mouse and keyboard immediately active and ready to go. No additional drivers or software required - even for the media buttons, which was a pleasant surprise. And no annoying prompts to install bloatware, which was an even more pleasant surprise. This was on Windows 11. Your experience may vary on Mac/Linux/mobile devices.

Another clear win for Logitech

I had the older version of this mouse/keyboard set as a backup for quite a long time. So when I went to replace, I was happy to see a newer version available that looks A LOT better visually. Sufficient durability (no broken or loose keys) however, after a year of frequent use (typing papers in University, the keys really aren't that silent anymore. The contrast in volume between keys such as the space bar vs keys I never use (the function keys for example) is quite noticeable. The key travel is great, but now I just have a clunky keyboard, as the resistance is still there, but the noise dampening has worn out.It's really about a 2.5 star keyboard, but not a 3 star. First, the keybaord offers great shortcut keys along the top. Second, the mouse is still quiet (although it's just recently started scrolling down when I scroll up, could be a dying battery) and considering the price point of the keyboard. My thinkpad keyboard is probably my favourite at this time.

Keyboard + mouse died after a month and a half

Keyboard and mouse died after a little over a month and a half. I had thought it was because the batteries ran out of power, so I even went and got new expensive rechargeable batteries, charged them up and it still does not work!When it was working, it worked fine. I can’t really complain for such a cheap little keyboard and mouse set but now, given that it died a little over a month and a half, I don’t really see the price justifying its value. If it had lasted me 8 months to a year, then maybe. But 1.5 months is a little too short for the price.Also, there’s no wrist rest on the keyboard but this shouldn’t come as a surprise since it’s on the package. Mouse Lags/Unresponsive

I’ve purchased two of these in the last year and can now confirm after the 2nd purchase that the mouse malfunctions. Two out of two times the mouse would lag in movement and requires multiple clicks to respond. The first purchase this started happening almost 1 year into use, the second purchase it started after a month. It’s a bummer because I actually really like the simplicity of this set and how quiet the keyboard is. I would not repurchase or recommend. Will have to find another set on the market that’s more reliable and durable and provides the same functions.

Not worth. Keys get stuck and don't popup.

I bought this offline from the Officeworks store. It is pathetic. Simply just pathetic experience.You press the keys, they don't popup again, they just stay there. its like keys are freezing and don't want to wok again.First time i had this negative experience with Logitech products. The mouse came in the package is also flimsy and feels cheap but the main problem is with Keyboard. the keys get stuck and you have to tap the keyboard from back or pull the keys up with something.

I like playing video games and live streaming them to a mild audience. However, people noticed how loud and click-y my keyboard was. There wasn't much I could do, since my keyboard was directly beneath my microphone.Then someone suggested this. And, well, it's not perfectly quiet, but I've had far less comments on keyboard noises ever since I got it. In fact, I think most of my following has forgotten how that used to be a pseudo-joke we used to have!I have two complaints with this device. One minor, one major.Minor - I can't find any way to sync it with a device that already has bluetooth. I wish I could do without the extra receiver clogging up what could be a spare USB port.Major - Input lag. I'm fine with some minor latency, but this thing has sometimes spiked up to 2-3 seconds of delay, which is uncomfortable.When the delay resolves, it also often skips inputs, which is especially annoying for me, as I like writing stories for fun. Having words just missing random letters sucks. That might be because I have a fast typing speed (120wpm on a good day), but it's still annoying.I found that not using the mouse mostly fixed the above issue, but not entirely. Good thing I only needed the keyboard, I guess?Also, I had to put my receiver behind my PC. That might contribute to the lag somewhat, though the keyboard is more to the side of the PC than in front of it, so I don't really get how there would be enough stuff blocking wireless communications to cause issues...Despite that huge problem, overall this keyboard has been a positive experience for me. The quiet keys really have made a difference, and it's a simple but sweet design. Great for office work, mediocre for gaming. I think I'd generally recommend this.

They are actually fantastic

Incredibly lightweight for a full sized cup over ear headphone,. At first I thought maybe this was an indication of cheep manufacturing, which I discovered over time was an unfair assumtion. I belive they are made this was intentionally to be freakishly lightweight which leads to a more comfortable experience.In all honesty I may go back to my (not over ear) super lightweight headphones simply becase I have never liked big full sized cup over ear headphones and bought them for a work requirement.But that is just a personal preference. Nothing related to the quality of these.Oh and by the way Sound is fantastic!

Value-priced name-brand keyboard/mouse combo

I've used Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combos before, and prefer full-size keyboards with typewriter-like keys, as that was what I learned to type on in pre-computer days. However, I had never before used such a quiet keyboard. I do still feel the click of each keypress, which helps prevent miskeys and unintentional multiples of the same character. The quieter clicks allow me to more easily hear the telephone ringing, or the boss calling from across the office. The mouse is a little smaller than I'm used to, but reasonably comfortable, and certainly more comfortable than the oversized "ergonomic" mouse I was using before this set arrived.
