The left button started to require about 3x the input of normal, whereas the right button continued to function correctly. The keyboard's quietness is great and it has a good solid feel on the desktop (not too heavy, not to light and stays put). There may be the slightest lag in responsiveness between the keyboard and receiver, but it's not problematic and something you can probably adapt to (if you even notice). I would recommend this product, especially at the price point. Would rate it 4.5 stars if that was an option.

I hope that makes sense. I love the mouse as well, but if I were to rate it separately, I would probably give it a 4.5/5, mainly because there are some moments where I'm simply resting my hand and the pressure of my right finger will click the right clicker. Best keyboard by far
19 February 2023

1st ly, I am a 2 finger typer and can therefore not speak for typist BUT. Silent keyboard and mouse indeed. I bought mine in April 2022 after having gone through a few cheaper keyboards whose lettering came off and keys got stuck. This keyboard and mouse is GREAT and SILENT. I often have to take minutes in meetings and no one can hear me type and click away with the mouse. In just about a year of 8hours+ use a day I have changed the keyboard batteries once. The mouse has space to store the dongle and both the mouse and keyboard has an on/off switch which makes it ideal for travelling. I recommended it to 2 friends who are both highly impressed too.

Definitely quiet but lags a lot
20 September 2021

Both the keyboard and the mouse have a significant lag between movement or typing and the actual action happening on the screen. I use it on a Mac with a USB to USBC adapter also on a windows computer, both for work. It is getting progressively worse each day. I have tried new batteries but still having the same problem. I do a lot of graphic design and video editing for my job and it is really impacting my productivity. I bought it as my partner is a paramedic doing shift work so needed something really quiet - which it definitely is. I think if you weren't needing to switch between programmes or windows, and were mainly editing word docs or replying to emails they would work fine. Would not recommend this for anything more intricate. Purchased this wireless mouse and keyboard last week. Both the mouse and keyboard have such a slow response time. I'm not sure if i can describe it right, but when you move the mouse, it doesn't move straight away so you might try to move it again and then it overshoots the mark and you end up chasing the arrow around your screen for a while until you can slow yourself down enough to be in time with the mouse. The keyboard is definitely quiet but you need to punch the keys to get them to work which kind of defeats the purpose of being quiet. Again, sometimes you can be typing and then look up and nothing has typed on your screen. Other times I can write a sentence and it only picks up half way through the sentence (so half is missing). Great feel and response for keyboard and mouse

This MK295 Keyboard and Mouse combo are fantastic right out of the box. The USB receiver plugged right into my laptop's USB port and was immediately ready for plug and play usage. I love the look of this black/graphite colored keyboard when using it with my 13" laptop. My laptop is smaller for easy portability, but using the laptop touchpad and keyboard keys can be challenging for all day meetings. The beauty of this keyboard is that these are full sized keys with some chunky feel to them versus the chiclet type keyboards that are common on laptops. The feel of these buttons at your finger tips are very nice with a quick response and never any lag whatsoever. The keyboard has the Logitech feature of SilentTouch which proves to be very nice. As I type right now the keys are quiet, as if they are sound dampening the individual keystrokes. Perfect for a busy office desk setting or a more serene work at home setting. There isn't of the usual clicking and clacking of keys and I like it that way. The keyboard is ready for Windows and has some great hot keys on the top of the keyboard. Volume/music controls, home key, mail key, power key, and a calculator. It all works quickly and very responsively. Also on the underside are keyboard legs which allow for 8 degrees of an angle to the keyboard. As for the mouse it's a great fit in your hands with a slight arch that fits appropriately with your hands natural curve. The mouse also has the SilentTouch treatment and dampens the sounds of your clicks and scroll wheel usage. Perfect for quiet usage without disturbing others around you. The mouse is quick and accurate with it's responses and I haven't seen any lag issues whatsoever. In my opinion this is a great full size keyboard addition to anyone using a desktop, but especially for laptop users that don't want to feel constrained to a smaller laptop keyboard. Working from home or working in an office setting, this is a great laptop to have when you're stationary and in need of a full size keyboard, arrow keys, and number pad. If I had one wish, I would love to see this with illuminated keys at this price point. PRO: SilentTouch technology for quiet usage Hot Keys for quick access Nice looks along with the angled keyboard ability Fast response and no lag Plug and play for immediate setup CON: None

I love the feel of the keys versus the ones on my laptops. So easy to switch from one laptop to another and you get the added benefit of not wearing out the laptop keys and not getting them dirty. Easy to clean the keyboard and mouse right up and I really hate sitting down to use someone else's laptop or keyboard and feeling dirty keys. I have to give mine a quick wipe every morning before I start working. My late husband was bad about keeping his cleaned so I about once a week I would go in and wipe his down. If you're really picky about how your keyboard feels to you when typing and if you're worried about speed and all of that, I highly recommend this keyboard. Quiet, Comfortable Keyboard and Mouse
18 September 2020

The Logitech MK295 “Silent” wireless keyboard and mouse combo is easy to set up, comfortable to use, and features *very* quiet operation. There aren’t a whole lot of bells and whistles, just a keyboard and mouse that work well and work quietly. The combo includes a tiny USB receiver in the package. Getting started was as easy as plugging the receiver into an available USB port, turning on the keyboard and mouse, and getting started. My Windows computer recognized the receiver and had it configured in a few seconds, without any action required on my part. I really appreciated the no-hassle setup, and going wireless certainly helped clean up cord-clutter on my desk. My Windows computer recognized the receiver and had it configured in a few seconds, without any action required on my part. I really appreciated the no-hassle setup, and going wireless certainly helped clean up cord-clutter on my desk. Typing on the MK295 keyboard isn’t exactly “silent” (maybe I am a heavy typer), but it’s definitely very quiet. It’s great for sharing a small space with someone else (work from home, school online, etc.). The keys are quick and responsive, but do have a softer feel than other keyboards. That makes sense given the goal of keeping noise levels down, but if you are looking for that satisfying click-click feel as you type, this probably isn’t for you. I particularly appreciate the fact that the shortcut keys (media play/pause, volume, calculator, etc.) are their own buttons at the top of the keyboard, instead of sharing with the F1-F12 function keys. I use those F-keys regularly while crunching numbers on spreadsheets, so it’s refreshing not to have to find a toggle key to jump between regular and “extra features” mode. My one wish would be for an indicator light on the caps lock key so I can tell if it’s engaged without typing. Other than that, though, this is a solid keyboard and mouse combo, especially for the price. The mouse is responsive and comfortable to use. Whether I’m clicking the buttons or scrolling the wheel, there is noticeably less noise than with other mice. Going wireless is particularly great with the mouse -- no more worrying cord dragging about and getting caught up on things as I move the pointer around the screen. Function wise, the mouse is fairly simple – no extra buttons, gestures, etc. Just your basic mouse that happens to be a lot quieter than most. Finally, both the keyboard and mouse have a storage port to stow the receiver if you’re on the go, putting things away for a while, etc. That’s a nice touch, given how small the receiver is (and how likely I’d be to lose it without a dedicated storage area). I’m happy with the MK295 Combo and would recommend it to others who need a simple keyboard and mouse that helps cut down the noise in a shared (or even solo) space.

So reliable! So quiet!
28 September 2022

I'm a very fast typer, and I tend to hit the keys a bit hard, and I've been getting some complaints from folks that I'm on calls with (and from my wife) that it was time to do something about the noise. I was a bit nervous about purchasing this without being able to test it out in person. I was also a bit nervous about the reliability of a wireless keyboard, but I took a gamble which definitely paid off. The first time I used it after easily connecting it to my computer, my wife asked "Why do noisy keyboards exist?!" She has a point. There is a bit of noise, simply because the fingers are hitting the keys, but the sound level is next to nothing. And I haven't had any issues with keys sticking or characters repeating, which has happened with some bluetooth keyboards ... MoreI'm a very fast typer, and I tend to hit the keys a bit hard, and I've been getting some complaints from folks that I'm on calls with (and from my wife) that it was time to do something about the noise. The first time I used it after easily connecting it to my computer, my wife asked "Why do noisy keyboards exist?!" She has a point. There is a bit of noise, simply because the fingers are hitting the keys, but the sound level is next to nothing. And I haven't had any issues with keys sticking or characters repeating, which has happened with some bluetooth keyboards in the past.
