For a business keyboard that costs more than $100, you'd think they'd give you a bit more freedom to use this how you want to in a business setting. My first gripe: I can't use any of the custom options available in the Logi Options+ app, because I can't install third-party apps on my company computer, at my business. So it's just a basic keyboard, not a business keyboard. That's annoying, but fine. It still works. I have a random mechanical keyboard that let's me store the custom settings on the device, so it all works on my work computer, meaning it's clearly possible. I also think it's pretty typical for work computers to have software installation restrictions, so this isn't rocket science. Logitech should know this. Now my main problem: the backlight. Wow it's bad. You've probably read this in all of the other reviews, but they're all true. The backlight is a disaster. There are years old threads in the support forums filled with people complaining about the 5 second timeout. It's real. You have two options: turn off the backlight entirely (my choice, unfortunately) or get ready to have a multi-key strobe-light on your desk. You CANNOT change the timeout settings. I don't care about the battery life. I have a charging cable at the ready, so don't give me that excuse. I just want the backlight to stay on for more than 5 seconds, this isn't a crazy thing to ask. Think about it for a few seconds: I'm composing an email, and I pause to think about what I want to say next. When I glance down to make sure my hands are in the right place, I can't see anything because the backlight turned itself off in the 5 seconds I took to collect my thoughts. Then when I continue typing, it's typos because I couldn't see the keys. What's the point of a backlight? I'm seriously asking. I thought it was so you could see the keys when it's dark. Guess I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure a simple firmware update could fix this, if Logitech had the will or desire to instantly satisfy the hundreds of people on their forums who just want a normal backlit keyboard. They clearly don't, since this issue has been brought to their attention by so many different angry users, repeatedly. Come on Logitech, respect your customers. We spend a ton of money on your overpriced products, at least show us some respect.

This is a full featured wireless keyboard that is near silent, backlit that has extra keys to pop up a calculator, take a screen shot and drop down menu. This logi bolt version which has a usb dongle that is a more secure connection to the device. You should be aware that sometimes nearby cell phones, microwaves or other devices on 2.4 Mhz frequency band might cause interference. I have M650L mouse that is the logi bolt version. This is important because you cannot use these with the older style usb dongle.

Best keyboard ever. The tactile feedback and just the molding on the keys is superb. Wish I had discovered this sooner.

Excellent keyboard for the office and a perfect match for the MX MASTER 3S for Business. Backlighting for the keyboard works well. The keys are responsive and quiet. I like the flexibility to use the Bolt connector or Bluetooth.
As always Logitech delivers on their products for quality and usability. Easy to install and use, sturdier than any other keyboard you will own, only the energy saving features of turning off the back light automatically is an inconvenience. To turn it on, hovering over the keyboard is not enough, you have to touch it first, which is one more thing to remember. Sorry, Logitech, this lost you a star.
The idea of a quiet keyboard to use during con calls seemed illusive until MX Keys.Having used Logitech for many years I am disappointed in the actually feel and spacing of the keys. I keep my older standard keyboard as a stand by in the event I final decided to go back to one that feels good to use.The only thing I can say I like is that it takes up less space on my desk. For the cost vs satisfaction, this is not worth the effort.
I noticed that MX Keys have 13* keys in F-keys row which is unexpecting for programming. We often use F-keys and expect that F12 is the last key in a row. Also it would be good to remove this 13 key and make gaps between 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12 F keys. And another thing I wanted to mention is switching between devices. I think it would be good if both MX Keys and MX Mouse switch between devices like a pair. There is a script in Github that already does it. I think you can do the same :)
I am not the most technical reviewer for something like this, but the build quality of the MX Keys keyboard is solid, well-designed and the keys have just the right amount of key response. It is also very quiet. I don't use a lot of Macros, so I have read some complaints about not being able to set those up. And I don't play games, so I don't have any latency issues. I have used this in my living room, and without setting this on a table, the MX Keys is slightly heavy, given its metal enclosure and rechargeable battery. I purchased the "for Business" version, which came with the Logi Bolt receiver, but it connected by Bluetooth without the dongle, so I haven't had to use it. If I take it on a business trip I will have to set it up. After finally upgrading my desktop recently, I was searching for something smaller and more adaptable then my still working but clunky Logitech wireless keyboard (over 15 years old and still working, though keys labels were half worn off...this keyboard is amazing, so compact, easy feel for typing (I'm a fast touch typist and I love the indents on each key). The best part is how easy it is to use the three switches to connect to other devices via bluetooth. I hate typing on my iphone 13 with my fingers/thumbs, but this keyboard switches seemlessly, making it so easy to do phone-only tasks while still working on my desktop, the switch is instant. Also paired easily with my 1st gen ipad air.It lights up only when needed, but that is convenient. I only had to charge it once for about an hour, after 2.5 weeks of daily use, but I like that you can switch it off when not in use. I'm perfectly comfortable with the typing angle, and I like how compact it is. It is worth the price IMHO, especially if it lasts as long as my other one (which is still in use but on a different PC). Can't beat Logitech quality and ease of use.
I was specifically looking for a keyboard for fast typists. I don't like a keyboard with a lot of travel depth and these keys are just perfect. Plenty of tactile feel and enough sound to know you're typing, but not too quiet. It's very responsive, very accurate, and I love how it feels to type on it. It's relatively heavy and feels like the materials are good quality. It's very economical in the space it takes up on my desktop, with no extra material around the edges. Shipping was quick as well. Definitely recommend this one.
