I have only used this newly purchased clicker once. And it worked very, very well. And it was very easy to set up for use. I literally pulled up my presentation in the SMARTBOARD, plugged the USB into the desktop unit, turned the clicker on and it worked. It it comes with Duracell batteries. It worked at a range of about 23 feet. Its a great accessory for teachers.

I'm a college lecturer and I've had this remote for a year now. Even with brand-new batteries, the range is sometimes less than 10 feet from my laptop. I suspect this is because all of my "dongles" for plugging in USBs to my Mac extend from the left side of my laptop, while due to the room layout I must stand off to the right side of the laptop when using the remote. Not sure if other models are better about this issue or not.

I have two R400 Laser Presentation remotes. One works. The other never worked. I was told that the receiver might be faulty and I needed to order a new one. I did. Twice. It is exactly what the instructions show as the appropriate receiver, but it doesn't work. We've tried various syncing instructions. So, we bought a faulty device. The company didn't stand behind the customer but told us to purchase a new receiver. Then another. That isn't right. Can we get help from support? NO This is frustrating.

Absolute game-changer. Using a presenter remote like this one has definitely stepped-up my presentation game. I feel more connected to my audience, and the freedom to move around my presenter space is amazing. The laser pointer is a bit dim, but I can’t be upset given the long battery life. Inclusion of a dedicated power switch is a superb feature for power savings, and to make sure I don’t accidentally send inputs to the computer with the receiver.
I have always known the Logitech Presenter Remote with Laster Pointer for its sleek and compact design. I am so glad I finally purchases one! It is just the right size to fit in your hand comfortably, and (this might sound weird) but weighs just the perfect amount to feel powerful in a presentation. The laser pointer shows up bright as day during presentations and doubles a great toy for my kitten. The soft carry case that comes with the remote protects it well from pockets, drops and keys in my bag. Would recommend !!

Since Covid has hit my kids have been bored at home so I have been having them do a little presentations on whatever they want.
