LorAnn Bakery Emulsions Natural & Artificial Flavor 4oz-Almond
When it comes to flavoring, professional bakers almost exclusively use emulsions over extracts. Why? Because emulsions have a more potent, robust flavor, that won't "bake-out" when exposed to heat. They are water-based. LorAnn's emulsions are characterized by a rich long-lasting taste that is bursting with aroma and flavor. An excellent choice for flavoring all of your homemade baked goods, including cookies, cakes, sweet breads and pastries as well as frostings, glazes, fondants, fillings, cream centers and other confectionary items. LorAnn's Almond emulsion has a delightfully warm, nutty flavor. Use this professional strength flavoring instead of an extract in any recipe. Emulsion is sugar and gluten free.

Purchased this to try it as I've never used it previously. Added it to a butter frosting and I was pleasantly surprised at how much blueberry flavor it actually had-- I used less than a teaspoon for the frosting on a 2-layer, 8 in round cake. It tasted like real blueberries and not at all artificial. I was also surprised that it made the frosting such a deep purple color-- which I was fine with but I expected when I originally purchased it that it would not change the color of whatever it was added to. Would definitely purchase again.

I bake almost every day! And, having high quality baking products is important to me.Since discovering this Orange Emulsion 3 years ago ~ its the only Orange flavoring that I now use to make Orange Creamsicle Cookies. I love and trust this product so that every batch comes out flavorful and ideal time after time.

I can think if so many recipe combinations to add this Hazel Nut emulsion to. Hazel Nut sugar cookies with a chocolate icing or even reverse this and add the Hazel Nut emulsion to your icing and add chocolate flavoring to your cookie dough. The ratio is the same for the vanilla so whatever "flavor" your recipe calls for, you can use this instead without being afraid to mess up a favorite recipe.

Since I cannot use real fruit in my baking products for my home bakery, I used this strawberry emulsion to add the strawberry flavor to a birthday cake.Oh my goodness! Such a good, deep flavor and wonderful scent! I’ll be buying other flavored emulsions soon.
When I bought this product I had never tried an emulsion, in fact I didn’t quite know what it was, but it is great. I made my home made chocolate cake and added the strawberry emulsion to the chocolate frosting. Everybody loved it. It gave it a unique chocolate fruity flavor. I would recommend this to others and would like to try other flavors of emulsion in my fudge.
Had looked at numerous grocery & specialty stores for cherry extract for baking my famous cherry almond squares for Christmas. Not sure how it happened, but I stumbled upon Michael's specialty baking department - which I have walked past many times over the years. Found it & had it the same day. Thank you!
I’ve used this product for about 4 years now and I’m obsessed. It is the perfect addition to my vanilla sugar cookies and a little goes a long way. It is perfect in Royal icing, it doesn’t cause any separation and just about 1 tsp is all I need for a 2lb batch of icing (1 bag of powdered sugar.) I highly recommend this product. The company has a phenomenal allergy statement on each of their products. It’s so worth it!
We used this flavoring for a Swiss buttercream icing and it was the perfect taste. It was not artificial tasting. We have used dried strawberries and made a powder by using a food processor which is more work and can be messy, but this flavoring was very close to the taste of dried strawberries and less work.
I just started experimenting with flavors and this seemed the most attractive for a homemade buttercream I was going to use on some super delicious moist cupcakes I made. I started with very little because you can always add more but never less right. Anyway, I was super disappointed. My husband came into the kitchen(only the cupcakes were on the counter)and he told me he didn’t want to try them because of the smell. Yes! The smell is extreme. Not something I’d want to brag about. Mabe this is better for a cookie dough? I don’t know but I have a huge bottle now and not sure that I’ll ever come close to using it all.
I just recently started using emulsions in my baking and have found it to be a game changer. I bought the Raspberry b cause it is my Husbands favorite flavor. Oh My Goodness, it is delicious. It has a wonderful flavor. I was very nervous that it would taste like cough suryp but, it is one of my favorite flavor options for all my baking. Cakes, Cookies, Icing, Buttercream, you name it. Takes your baking to the next level.
