Absolutely Fantastic Lipstick

I’m a lipstick connoisseur. I own over 30 lipsticks, mostly high end brands like Chanel, YSL, Dior, etc…. I know my lipstick because it’s the only makeup that I wear as I’m mostly a skincare fanatic, not into other makeup, nothing as I don’t even wear concealer or foundation.This Loreal lipstick formulation, with argan oil, has found a regular, permanent spot in my lipstick rotation among other more costly, high end brands. The color glides on smoothly without unevenness. Second, the texture is not not sticky or waxy unlike most drugstore brands. It has a light texture that’s not drying due to the argan oil. Longevity is fantastic yet non-drying several hours into wear.Nu Irreverent (176) is a holy grail nude lipstick in my opinion. It is a brightening nude color that works well in every skin tone. I would describe the color as a bright sienna with a tinge of neutral pink. This is a perfect nude lipstick for those who want a nude lipstick that doesn’t blend the lips into the skin, but give the face a brightening pop.Lovely Red (186) is the perfect red for those who aren’t into cool, blue-based red lipsticks. It’s definitely a warm, vibrant red. I wear it smudged over lip butter for sheer look, or by itself. This is a versatile red that doesn’t clash with other colors, it turns into a neutral red on different skin tones.Bravo to Loreal for making an affordable lipstick that is comparable to more high end brands.

Glides on

This lipstick is surprisingly creamy and very easy to apply. It feels so moisturising on the lips, unlike some lipsticks that seem to 'drag' when applying and feel dry. It lasts a good while, no more or less than any other similar product. I love the look of it, the gold colour stands out and looks expensive. I got 183 which is lovely but dark for day wear. I like the feel of this lipstick so much and I have looked online for the colours available. I was surprised by the price, very reasonable, and also the tube that the lipstick is housed in has a gorgeous design of a female which isn’t on the one I got sent. It’s only a little touch but it looks lovely and adds to the expensive look of the product. Gorgeous color, but heavy on the fragrance.

Worth it is a lovely pinkish nude that is surprisingly flattering on my warm light/medium skin tone. I was worried it would be too pale and wash me out but it's quite natural looking and enhances my natural lip color. The lipliner is a perfect match and great for keeping the lip stick in place and even over lining a bit for a poutier look. That being said I can't stand the scent. I know L'Oréal uses their signature fragrance in their lipsticks, and as much as I tried to ignore it I just can't, I can taste it in the back of my throat all day. It feels as if I've been using perfume as mouthwash or something. I wish they didn't use such a heavy fragrance on their lipsticks, otherwise this product would be perfect. Of all the L’Oréal products I have tried and purchased I think this is my favourite. Starting with the look of the product - it’s so lux it really is a lovely item to have in your handbag. Due to the gold notch there is also little to no risk of the lid popping off whilst in your bag. I really struggle to find a natural looking lip colour that can be used both day and night and again this hits the mark. The smell is also just right, it still smells like a L’Oréal lipstick but the fragrance is much more subtle than other lipsticks I have bought from L’Oréal. Finally the look and feel, it feels so rich and moisturising going on and stays like this even after a drink. The lipstick colour stays even after the moisturising effect has faded. Great Quality, Hydrating Drugstore Lipstick

I am obsessed with makeup, so I have countless lipsticks from different price ranges, and I have to say Loreal is one of my favorite drugstore brands. I got the Loreal Colour Riche lipstick in the color Worth It as a free gift from Loreal but this opinion is my own. This color is a perfect neutral mauve tone that goes with both warm and cool makeup looks. The lipstick is easy to apply but is very wet until you blot. If you don't blot this lipstick, the color will not last very long. I get around 4 hours of wear time from it depending on what I am doing. It lasts through drinks but doesn't last too well through meals, like most lipsticks. The lipstick is super hydrating which is one of my favorite features. It did not dry my lips out at all even after blotting. Just okay

I’ve been on a lipstick journey to replace wearing lipgloss all the time for more color saturation and moisture. Purchased the color Worth It and even though it was a pretty color in between mauve pink and nude, I wasn’t satisfied with the texture. It felt too thick on the lips but didn’t offer as much moisture as I’d hope for. My biggest gripe is that these do not come sealed so you’ll have to open and check them to make sure someone else didn’t already do a swatch test or use it. It does smudge a little. The gold packing is a nice touch yet, the top only fits one way so you always have to place it on correctly to make sure it’s closed. Overall I’m glad I tried it but will stick to other brands.

L'OReal Paris Colour Riche lip color

#590 Blushing Berry upc# 071249074541 Purchased for my daughter, and it broke after the first use. Being it wasn't a cheap lipstick brand so I thought it be good- even with the digital coupon from CVS, I am very disappointed. I was hopeful it was just a bad tube as my daughter threw it away, but seeing other reviews, I don't believe I'll be purchasing it any more. Maybe the same brand but not the same type, unless it happens again. L'OReal has been an excellent brand in the past. It was listed on the app the day I purchased at $5.25- it was full price $10.99 (minus my coupon.) CVS isn't the issue, they only sell the product. L'OReal makes the product, so maybe my review should go to them & not CVS.

Perfect sized bullet for precision application

The shape of the bullet of this lipstick really intrigued me as it's a little different. But it really is the perfect shape especially if you have a prominent 'cupids bow'. I love this shade (Authentic 177) which suits my skin ton (More medium at present due to a tan). It's a rosy nude but not too pink and slightly darker than I'd usually pick. It also looks lovely if you smudge it out a little (Quickly after applying!) for a wash of colour (And looks good as a blush). Lasting wise I find it lasts about the same as most lipsticks on me as I vape. I suffer with VERY dry lips but this doesn't make them worse like some formulas can. If I apply a little lip balm before and blot that off before application it really helps. serviceable... pretty colors, strong smell, a little patchy

The best thing about these lipsticks is the color range. I have Determine, Excessif, Intense, Irreverent. For my extremely warm/golden undertones and medium skin tone, Determine is the most natural-looking nude, and my favorite. Intense can also pass for a nude, but it's noticeably pink on me (although it's described as warm, I am very golden and it still reads slightly too cool/neutral on me to look natural). Excessif on me is like a bright coral and Intense is almost red; I wouldn't consider either of them nudes for me.Compared to other lipsticks of this type and finish, they're really not bad. But at that point, I have tinted balms I like better and that provide hydration.
