Awesome. The small mats weren’t as effective. My dog likes to take his food from the bowl to the floor. Bought the larger mat and it has been much better.

Thought this was bigger than it was but it would definitely help those with 1 dog or to keep food or water for a small dog. I have 3 huge dogs and was trying to get the water to stop running all over our kitchen. Does help a lot but we need a bigger mat under the automatic waterer for sure.

My dog kept scattering his dog food all over the floor by tipping his bowl. It is a game he plays. Fortunately, this catches the bowl when he playfully tips it over, and then it does not get scattered by my grands stepping on it instead of cleaning it up. Yep, I bought one for my office too.

Best Pet Placemat Ever

This mat makes pet feeding so easy. Pick it up, brush off dry food or wipe off wet food, fill the dishes, DONE! No cleaning the floor or wiping up spills. The one inch deep tray does not interfere with my cats' ability to eat or drink, but it is deep enough to prevent spills onto the floor. Sturdy enough to carry to the counter to load with their favorites and back to the floor for feeding. The 4 flat rubber feet keep the tray in place while the cats are eating. They each have their own corner which accommodates their individual bowl perfectly. I know it is really made for dogs, but the cats are enjoying it so much. And so am I!!!

Does the job but not what was expected

This was the only decently priced dog mat I was able to find for the size & price that it was. The size is rather larger than I expected, taking up more floor space, however, it doesn't quite fit our pups 2 large stainless steel dog bowls side by side each other due to its bone shape. The bowls fit if staggered unevenly beside each other more or less, or if 1 bowl is set on top of the edge of the other. Used only to catch the spillage from the water bowl currently, wishing I had ultimately gotten the smaller sized mat instead so it's not taking up so much floor space for our pups sleeping space.

Great Buy

Great buy! Exactly want i needed for my pet's eating area. I placed his food bowl inside this mat and it keeps everything neat, dry and clean. Very durable. Will last a long time. Its good for a small to mid size dog.

Little dog/Big mess!

Great for my little dog. I would have preferred a flat surface on the tray only because my little glutton has to have a puzzle dish to slow down her eating. It doesn't stay firmly in place. It's okay though, I just move her dish while she eats. The water bowl has a rubber ring around the bottom so that's fine. I love the size and that it's black and doesn't show dirt!

Not great

Didn't work for my labradors. It isn't big enough to catch the water spillage when they drink and it ended up pooling under the mat. I would not recommend this item.

Not what I was expecting

This mat would suit a large dog. My 7kg dog’s bowls go on here but he has to stand on the mat to reach everything. The sides are quite high and it is hard plastic.
