Ideal boot height for driving, as yet the GTX hasn't been tested but I'm sure they'll be just as good in the wet. Overall a great pair of boots and buying experience.

A pair bought from HI-Tec were similar in cost and comfort and lasted two years. The Grisport boots were comfortable but the seal between boot and sole was weak and only lasted 18 mths. Hopefully, these will last the time expected.

Great boots, they look great, they're very lightweight, comfortable and the fit is fantastic too, true to size when wearing thicker socks, would recommend.
It took me 20 miles to break these in, but I'm glad I put in the effort. They felt good enough to wear them hunting all weekend. They kept me warm and I liked the ankle support. Sunday afternoon I broke through ice in a small stream, but was able to keep going, nothing felt wet. It was really cold and I would have turned around if my socks got wet. Thats when I got my elk!
I prefer mid length boots as I drive a lot and find the length perfect. Lowa boots fit true to size and are as comfortable as a pair of slippers straight from the box. Great boot, really empowering to wear with great strong support around the ankle. Feels almost like a snow boot but much lighter.Only complaint is the are rather firm to begin with and if you got delicate knuckles on your feet they may feel a little sore to begin with, make sure boot is on tight to avoid rubbing on the big knuckle of your main toe.
