Great unit, have it running on a HDS Live. Love the two sceen radar setup screen. I run one at 1/2 mile for close targets and one screen at 5 miles out. Also very impressed with the bird mode for a closed dome radar. I can't be happier with the performance. We deal with lots of fog in the PNW and this radar is a life saver!

This is a great device. I'm on the Ottawa River and in this area there are a lot of rock shoals and in some areas it's very shallow, so not only is my unit working extremely well for finding and marking fish it keeps me out of trouble.

Even though I purchased 3G Set just before stock of 4G. This radar system is a great compliment to my overall HDS 12 unit and array running on my vessel. Will be looking forward to upgrading, even though I am behind in the technologies that seem to evolve as soon as I purchase upgrades.
Decided on this one when I decided to purchase a radar and I am glad I did. Very good radar and not hard to set up. The collision avoidance is an awsome feature. Great details on radar. You wont regret it.
I purchased the Halo 24 for use this summer on my boat. Initially with such a big investment, I was not sure if I would like it, but after using it over the course of the past several weeks I am confident I made the right choice and would do it again in a heartbeat.
This radar is replacing an older G brand and has surpassed all my expectations. I have it attached to the Lowrance HDS 12 of which I find amazing. I never thought I would have Lowrance on my boat but I have now come to realize this brand is great. Thank you Lowrance.
I bought this to replace one of the same model that I had used for fishing, geocaching, hiking, etc, for the last twenty years. It finally failed and I decided to go with what I know works. I'm still planning to try to repair the old one, but there is no hurry now, I know I have 20 years or so to fix it.
I’ve had the 4G for years and upgraded to the halo this spring. Bird mode alone is worth the upgrade $. My radar is now a fish finder as well. I now use my radar daily rather than just low vis conditions.
I bought this a year and a half ago. At first I was not sure how it could better my chance at catching the type of fish I normally get. I fish walleye, Bass, Pike and musky mostly. I have learned from my dad how the read the water...now I mainly use my radar/fishfinder...no more guessing
