This sauce tasted great. Used the whole bottle for two servings of pasta. Was very Flavorful. The aroma is wonderful adding minced beef makes a delicious spaghetti bolognese. Has a very a rich flavour. I like rich tasting food so this one is ideal for my palate. Only downfall is it is a bit oily. Nice treat and tastes homemade. Full of flavour and healthy ingredients.

This is my favourite pasta sauce from Loyd Grossman. Tasted more homemade than some other sauces on the market. Garlic flavour was not too over powering. I always have some Loyd sauces in my cupboard

Italian-ish person who was born and lived in Italy for a decent part of their life here! It's only been about the last 2 years or so that I have been purchasing the occasional ready-made sauce - typically I would prepare my own using a can of crushed tomatoes as a base - so truthfully I haven't a whole lot of experience when it comes to knowing what brands are the best however after having tried quite a few of Lloyd Grossman's sauces I tend to think that it's a pretty decent brand fairly skilled at putting various ingredients together to create a tasty (or at least tasty enough) sauce. Though the convenience and overall versatility of this sauce is a given I personally was not super impressed with it. Am I saying that it is inedible? Being that I am Italian maybe my sense of taste and/or expectations (Especially for this kind of sauce [garlic-flavoured].) is simply different. I will use the entirety of the jar - again it's not horrible - but choose a different variety the next time.

It has a nice aroma and I love the texture - it's quite chunky. As described it certainly has a red wine-flavour to it - it's a really flavourful sauce honestly. I have been using the Loyd Grossman Tomato & Garlic Sauce for quite a long time. My family of 5, all love the taste. I usually make my own tomato sauce and I add the jar to make it more tasty. It is not too garlicky, just a hint, but it is ok for me as I add onion and tomato in my own sauce beforehand.Some people might find the jar too small though, for their needs as it is only 350gr (most of tomato jars are bigger) but you can add tomator puree too.Yes, I do recommend it.
It used to be a nice sauce but something has changed. It now smells and tastes horrible. I thought it was a bad batch at first then purchased it again from another store and it tastes the same. Both went in the bin!
Good quality pasta sauce with a great texture, consistency and pasta coverage. Light garlic taste but not overpoweringly so. I use it as a bolognese sauce as well. Thick and full of flavour. Great addition to any pasta based meal. It is easy to prepare and cook and well worth paying that little bit more for as it is full of flavour and taste.
This used to be lovely. However there is something wrong with this sauce now. We thought it was. One off issue but bought it again and the garlic still tastes wrong. Im not sure if it is burnt garlic or some rotten cloves.
I was looking forward and to trying this for the first time, but am rather disappointed as the taste was a bit heavy and I was a bit bemused by finding black bits, looking like mushroom ..was this the over roasted garlic? Wont be buying again.
