Excellent quality helmet from LS2, comes with helmet sack and helmet bag (this really helps preserve the helmet). ratchet style chin strap, dual visor, locking laser corrected visor, and mouth vent, L/R forehead vents, and rear L/R vents all can be open or closed. Very snug fit although fitment is correct to size. If you are claustrophobic you might want to order one size larger than you regularly wear. helmet weight at 1550+/-50 grams. comes with helmet donut which is nice to prevent scratching or just airing it out after a ride. Fast order processing and quick shipping, affordable price and high quality.

Great helmet! Glad I bought this one.

This is my first ADV helmet, I had worn my MX helmet and sunglasses before but this is a game changer. I have been able to ride on days that would have been too cool before because now I can close the vents and put the face shield down. When the temp goes up I can open the vents and get plenty of circulation, they do a great job. This helmet is also very quiet, very little wind and road noise. I like the option of using the tinted shield if needed, or flipping it up when it's not needed. The cheek pads and liner are the most comfortable I've ever used. The size chart was accurate, I was able to get a perfect fit the first time. Overall, I'm very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

ITS JUST OK, BUT NOT THAT GREAT
27 March 2024

Its ok overal but i personally got some issues with it:The dropdown sun visor got stuck and broke on the first ride offroad because the dirt got into the mecanism. and it dosent drop down as far down as you would like. The peak is ok for slow riding but its to thin and wind makes it vibrate at higher speeds and shakes your head blurring your sight and making it annoying causing a headache on longer rides. The speaker holes are not that deep and cardo JBL speakers hurt my ears because they dont fit well.On the good side, its really comfortable and very ventilated. the desing is awsome as well. locking mechanism is good. vision is wide and fits goggles very well.I took the peak off and dont use the sunshield, using goggles, and it worked for me, but then again i ... MoreIts ok overal but i personally got some issues with it:The dropdown sun visor got stuck and broke on the first ride offroad because the dirt got into the mecanism. and it dosent drop down as far down as you would like. The peak is ok for slow riding but its to thin and wind makes it vibrate at higher speeds and shakes your head blurring your sight and making it annoying causing a headache on longer rides. The speaker holes are not that deep and cardo JBL speakers hurt my ears because they dont fit well.On the good side, its really comfortable and very ventilated. the desing is awsome as well. locking mechanism is good. vision is wide and fits goggles very well.I took the peak off and dont use the sunshield, using goggles, and it worked for me, but then again i could buy a cheaper helmet without the features i had to stop using because they suck.

LS2... You made a great helmet!

Fit is true to sizing chart for me. You will get the chipmunk effect and kind of feel like you'd chew your cheeks for a few rides but gets a little better with use. They really got the aerodynamics of the roost protector right. I felt no drag or wobble when riding extended periods at 70mph. I can't say that of some other helmets I own and was apprehensive of buying another helmet this style just because of that, but I forgot it was even on the helmet. Loving this so far. The ventilation on this helmet is superior to any other brand I've owned as well by far. I'm still trying to get used to landing my hand right for the sunvisor as I live in mountainous terrain and end up pointed right at the sun sometimes being completely blinded, and I find I'm still having a ... MoreFit is true to sizing chart for me. Other than that I absolutely love it. Would buy it again and may just go ahead and get a carbon version as well.

Neflix and Chill, in a Helmet?

The good: This is the ultimate hot weather helmet option thats looks so good. I have put this thing through its paces during several days of commuting in +100 deg heat. The vents provide lots of airflow. Thick padding keep the noise at a minimum. I thought that all the vents and sharp corners could cause some sore neck muscles, but nope, it's lightweight and stable at up to 65mph. The adjustment to the sun visor on top is minimal but it is nice to pull it down to block the sun. The tinted lens lever is easily locatable with smooth operation. So comfortable, already love it after couple weeksThe not so good: The nose guard is a bit high, preventing quick glances at down at gauges/GPS, took some getting used to. The sun visor could come down another half inch but thats nitpicking. Doesn't seem like LS2 made this one with comms units in mind, the wide bezel at the base may prevent communication units from being easily attached without modification (a little McGyver goes a long way). Also, the interior doesn't provide much depth for speakers, but my Cardo speakers do fit snugly against my ears.

Light, making it easy to turn your head. Visor allows me wider peripheral vision than my current Shoei GT-Air. Good ventilation. Visor easy to close and open with one hand only. Aggressive style (I like it). Only two screws to remove and replace visor, making it easy and quick to clean. The Pinlock system (anti-fog) works perfectly well.

Outstanding ADV Helmet Value
29 September 2021

Excellent value when compared to other high-class ADV lids. Fiberglass construction instead of plastic, lots of fully closeable vents, drop down sun visor, ECE rated, multi-position peak, lightweight, and nice big face shield. Plus it came with a set of pinlocks, a set of reflector stickers, an inflatable stand, an soft cover bag, and a carrying bag. Airflow is excellent and keeps me cool over 100F. Sound dampening is good for how much airflow you're getting. The peak does not significantly pull in the wind in the low position, even at 80 mph, but provides a good amount of shade. It does run on the narrower side. This helmet has one major issue: it takes some finagling to mount a comm. I ended up using the sticky mount for my Cardo Freecom 2+ and as long as you make sure to push down the wings on the mounting bracket when applying it goes on strong in the perfect position on the chinbar between the chin vent and the LS2 logo.

Show-room winner, real-world loser.

One serious ride and I wish I could return it. This helmet is awesome on paper and it's a show-room winner, but in actual riding, it's half-baked trash. Over the last decade I've had a lot of dual-sport/adv helmets and I was really excited to see a US legal option with all the bells and whistles of my aging, Euro-market X-lite 551 (composite shell, internal sun-visor, pinlock-shield, ratchet-strap, etc). Why isn't it awesome? The visor is difficult to open and adjust with gloves while riding, the strap release is finicky and hard to find/pull, the wind-noise is deafening even with earplugs, the drop-down sun-shield is in an awkward location, also the sun-shield is some cheap purple-ish plastic that fogs up if the outer shield isn't cracked open enough.I think the ... MoreOne serious ride and I wish I could return it. I would say the LS2 has improved the neck-roll, chin curtain, and shell material, while doing a much poorer job with the face-shield, strap-system, internal visor, and price.Last thing, this is not an intermediate-oval, this is a long-oval.

There are better options.
26 June 2024

The good - Fit and internal padding are comfortable. Weight is decent. Wind management overall is good with no excessive lifting at speed. The bad - Drop down sun visor is crap. Broke on my first ride. Have had the peak visor mounting screws come loose at 70 mph, let's just say it was annoying.Would I recommend it? No, at this price range there have to be better options.
