I have vehicles for business and personal use. They all get a quart of Lucas at every oil change. And while there are many reasons for using this additive, I use it for only one reason. It keeps the oil from going acid. Acid is what wears the engine out. By eliminating acid your engine will also be cleaner. I have used Lucas for 20 years and very pleased.

Lucas oil additive has been in many of my vehicles that have gone 200 and 300 thousand miles. Old motors that were noisy when I got them quieted down and ran for many more years when adding Lucas. I had a f150 with a whinny transfer case and thought what can it hurt... put about a pint of lucas in and the noise went away and I ran the truck for 3 more years with no problems or noises out of the transfer case. I have 50 years of driving under my belt now and have used Lucas for many of those years. Highly reccomend it.. It was on sale at HF so I picked up 3 bottles to put on the shelf for future use.

I just had my engine replaced with a lower mileage used engine. It was making a slight ticking sound from the lifters. It is notorious for Chevy Vortec engines. I added this Lucas additive and it helped quite the engine. Used it on my previous engine at 140k miles lasted up till 280k before had to replace it due to bad cylinder heads.I am very happy with this product I highly recommend it.

I liked that this product works as advertised. My 09 grad caravan with 158K miles sounded like the water pump bearings were noisy but it became apparent that the engine was the source of the grinding noise. I drained the dirty oil, replaced it with Mobil 1 and a bottle of Lucas oil Stabilizer and it eliminated the grinding sound immediately. I recommend Lucas oil stabilizer and will continue to use it with my oil changes.

Each car drove for over 7 years never having a single issue, once a year I'd add the Lucas engine treatment to the 1st of these 4 cars a 84Lincoln Town car with a 302 friction motor burned a quart a year perfect. Sold it running perfectly and got a 94 Mitsubishi Galant 2.3l same thing changed the oil and filter and used Lucas engine treatment and never looked back it had a small oil leak that the Lucas stopped for a year and would let me know it was time for a quart of Lucas engine treatment. It never broke down in the 7 years the next 2 vehicles were a 04 Ford explorer and a 10 Lincoln mkx same process and no breakdown's involving the drivetrain only inferior wheel design of the explorer causing bad wheel bearings. The only other thing was I prayed to God to bless my vehicles. However the lord expects us to be good Stewarts and take care of that which is provided and I've not been following this rule when it came to fluid changes in my vehicles due to a time and mostly money deficiency.
Lucas oil stabilizer has always worked well for all my cars and trucks for many years. I usually add a quart when ever I change my oil. So far I have never had serious issues with the engines in my vehicles. Oil and water issues will destroy an engine faster than any thing else. This is why I always change the oil when recommended and monitor and add radiator coolant whenever it is needed. I also change the coolant every 3 years. This way the vehicle with run as well as possible.
I had just noticed a leak from rear pinion seal before a vacation towing trailer with no time to have it fixed. Ford F150 . Drained the fluid from rear and filled it with Lucas. Rear got quiet and leak either stopped or is no longer noticeable after 1500 miles towing. . Excellent product and highly recommend.
excellent for those high miles vehicles that burn some oil. My 2012 honda crv has close to 200,000 mles and left untreated would always be about a quart low between oil changes. This oil additive is great at sealing the leaks in the engine and restoring the vitality, so i no longer have to add more oil. I use 1 of these every 6 months, heating it up in a bucket of hot water to make it easy to pour in, adding when about 1 quart low. Excellent product!
I tried 2 other highly recommended products on my 2 door diesel car that had a massive oil leak; and they both were useless. I heard about Lucas Oil Stabiler through a review on another product and decided to try it, Wow! It worked after 1 week, no more oil on my garage floor. I was planning on buying a new vehicle in the next 12-18 months anyway, so this takes away so much stress of expensive repair. Not sure what it actually did or was supposed to do. Added it to oil as detailed but saw nothing. Additives have claims but sophistication of assessing performance improvements are not evident outside laboratory testing. Tried it but saw nothing different...follow manufacturer application and see for yourself. Car that was used on, 138,000 miles and running good. Lincoln MKX . That may be a hint, but can't quantify it. Equinox with 109,000 miles also running fine but no additives used . Follow vehicle manufacturer recommendations, they know them better then I or you may do. Mpg on Lincoln basic car about 28, mpg on equinox with 1.5 motor and turbo 30+.
