I have had a problem with my motorcycle for 12 months with intermittent random spluttering that did seem to be getting worse. I put it in to dealers and Servicing 3 times and no one could resolve - sigh! Im not mechanical in any sense of the word. I emptied my tank and poured in this Lucas Injector Cleaner and let it run for 15 mins. Then I rode to service station and topped it up with fuel and took it on a 40KM+ run. There was not one splutter. The test run included suburban commute and 20 mins on freeway. Im so happy at the moment. As for dealers and their service expertise? What a waste of time and money. Use Dr Google everytime :)

Good Lucas Oil product you add to your gas tank. I use it generally in the summer when the oil is thinner (easier to pour) and traveling on the highway. It's one of the Lucas oil longtime original products. Suppose to help lube the top end of cylinder and remove deposits. Seems to smooth out the engine and improve mileage slightly. But it in the larger quart size and pour into a smaller bottle each time for big savings.

As most people, except me, know that using this product can save on an expensive cleaning of the fuel injectors. So when I told the guy at the dealership who was trying to rack up services on my vehicle that I use an Injector Cleaner every 3,000 mis. he said that I would not need the very expensive fuel injector cleaning. Win for the good guys! Also the good guy at Advanced Auto told me when I bought the first application in the small bottle of Lucas to save the bottle then buy the 32 oz. size and use the small bottle when I put it in. Money saved again, win, win.
Haven't had the need to use this since we sold our 82 75 series a few years ago, with 1.1m on the clock with almost factory compression. Since we bought a new Isuzu NPR 45-155 SWB, we started using this treatment again and managed to milk another 100ml pr 100 Kms and fuel efficiency. Only requires an approx 50ml squirt down the barrel before filling and Bob's ya uncle. Probably helps I don't drive like I stole it so injectors and pump on the cruiser were schmik with again, almost factory settings. If you've got an ear for a diesel tune and running vibe with a screw driver stethoscope, then try a before and after using about 1/2 a bottle and come up with your own conclusions. For me, I've got my way of doing things and getting good results. When my audi a4 quattro started acting sluggish i reached for this fix. With a couple ounces in the fuel tank at each fill up i started noticing smoother idling, increased acceleration and just general smoother performance. As for the mpg increase, i gained a couple miles per gallon after a few cycles. Using this product beats having to have the injectors cleaned by a mechanic. It’s a simple to use product. I have had the bottle leak through the blue cap that covers the tip if it’s cut so if using the lid to pour don’t lay it on its side for long.
The little blue cap just is placed on the top. I carry this in my car. So... The car moves, the bottle falls over, the product spills all over the cargo area of the vehicle. I lost about HALF of this bottle due to spillage. Poor design. Never buying this type of bottle again.
I have used Lucas products for years. I add alittle more than recommended for the first treatment. After that I used it every couple fill ups. My mileage has gone, and easier starts. I use in my vehicle and my boat. With the boat since it is 2008, I dump a whole bottle in the tank at each fill up. (90 gallon tank). I can’t show you the results of the product, but all my engines I use this in, I e never had issues.
Been using Lucas Fuel injector cleaner for many years. Does a great jon, does not hurt the enging. In a recent case had a Cat Code on my high Toyota got an engine light a Cat Code. After the panic for 2k plus repair job, tried Lucas fuel cleaner after ideling for a bit and a test drive the engine cose went away. For starters it could have need bad gas. When that happens good to go for one tank to high volume Gas station with multiple pumps like a QT or Race Track and see if the cat code return. In any case plan to use Cata Clean when the tank hits 1/4 tank. Hope this helps
this jug gives you several treatments and brings the cost per treatment down from the small bottles.I use it on all vehicles with fuel injectors. Makes engines run smoothly by eliminating the sputter associated with dirty injectors. It claims to give more MPG. But, I think that's only if your injectors are dirty when figuring "before" MPG
