Lucinda Riley The Love Letter
Keeping secrets is a dangerous game. In 1995, London, when Sir James Harrison, one of the greatest actors of his generation, passes away at the age of ninety-five, he leaves behind not just a heartbroken family but also a secret so shocking, so devastating that it could rock the English establishment to its core. Joanna Haslam is an ambitious young journalist assigned to cover the legendary actor's funeral. The great and the good of the celebrity world are there. But Joanna stumbles on something dark beneath the glamour: the mention of a letter James Harrison has left behind, the contents of which others have been desperate to conceal for over seventy years. As she peels back the veil of lies that has shrouded the secret, she realizes that there are other forces attempting to prevent her from discovering the truth. And they'll stop at nothing to reach the letter before she does.

Fantastic story compelling reading and hard to put down. Different from her other books but definitely worth the read. Highly recommend
This is a fabulous read..I could not put it down and was so wanting more pages when it ended. I love this author and can't wait for the next book
I read all of Lucinda Riley's books. They are so easy to get into and hard to put down. I am awaiting the next volume of The Seven Sisters. Although this one was a bit different, it was still a great read.
Wow, what a story. One seems to get caught up amongst the characters. This is one of my favourite novels. The story has lots of twists right up to the last chapter.
I love Lucinda Riley books, there is only one problem, they are very hard to put down. I love the twists and turns of her books. Great reading, good for Lockdown.
All of Lucinda Rileys books are fantastic, I cant get enough.
pure soap opera In a book. more cheesy than cheddar. more corny than cob.reads like a fantasy for would be princesses. if you are looking for feather light escape this is great.its got everything, love, royalty, intrigue, mystery and a perfectly happy ending. what else.too predictable for my tastes.
